((Fade In to a park in Central London, nothing big, nothing fancy, just a same piece of green grass, surrounded by bushes and a few benches. On one of those benches, sits a young man, his coat collar covers the lower part of his face as he sits in the fine rain on a muggy evening in London. The camera moves in slowly to reveal the Young man to be Danny Collins. His face is stern, and he barely notices the rain. Slowly he looks up and toward the camera, before speaking.))
Collins: I've been quiet lately, too quiet. But that's about to change. See, since I lost to Sean Taylor at Blood Bath, I've been kind of depressed, but can you blame me?
I mean, here I was, standing at the top of the pedestal, the world title finally in my grasp, and then, just like that, its gone. Then to make matters worse, I lose to Angel of Death... ANGEL OF DEATH! Holy crap.... I don't know what the hell is going on with me, I was once this determined force, that couldn't be stopped from getting what I want, but that has stopped dead, just like my title reign. I no longer feel the determination I once did, I no longer feel the want, the lust for the title that I once did. I was once the guy who would do what was right, stopping the Dominion despite the fact it put me in tremendous danger, I know I didn't do it alone, but I spoke out, I didn't like it, thing is, its all happening again....
Team Danger.....
The New Dominion.
Isn't it obvious? Terror and fear is once again rife in the EUWC, because one threat has moved on, and new one has emerged, so who will stand up? Who will rebel against them? Certainly not me, to be honest, and I'm going to be, I couldn't give two ****s about Team Danger, and what they do. Nor could I give two ****s about Mike C and his group of rebels to Team Dangers menace, as far as I am concerned you lot stay out of my way, and I'll stay out of yours, and we'll be sweet.
((Danny sits up a bit, and turns down his collar. He then reaches into his pocket and produces a box of cigarettes and a lighter. Danny then puts the cigarette in his mouth and lights it, puffing smoothly on the stick and exhaling the grey smoke, before speaking once more.))
Collins: So this week, I'm back, and I am facing someone who I haven't seen in a while, Mr. Jay Smash. Well, I must say this is a present suprise, when I first came here, Jay Smash was the guy to be. It was obvious Jay was going to become great, and his momentous rise was only matched by his equally large downfall. Pity really, because since my first day here in EUWC I really admired you, because your just like me in so many ways Jay, and if we wasn't booked to fight this week, I would have loved to had team with you. But I think somehow that a Jay Smash/Danny Collins match will be just as bloody good. Although I am quite concerned for Jay's mental health, he seems a little, too depressed. I mean, all the dark things he said happened to him, and then he cuts himself?! Hmmm, Jay Smash is a strange individual indeed these days. This could possibly be one of the toughest matches I have had in my career, and I am excited, because it will be good to be back, for different reasons anyway.
See this time, its not about what's right, its about one thing, me. I look out for me now, Donny can look after himself, but he knows I'll always be there for him. And Cheryl, well Cheryl's here in London, and that's where she will stay till she's had the baby. Hence me being here.
Jay, I look forward to facing you this week, I'd rather it be a wrestling match rather then a fight, but we all know that you and I just won't be able to do that, we will fight, and I'm sure that whoever wins, will definitely earn it. But when its all said and done, I'm gonna look right at you, regardless of the outcome, and show my respect for you by offering a handshake, whether you take it or not, is up to you.
See you soon.
((Danny puts the cigarette in his mouth and then rises from his seat, before walking down the concrete path and out of the park as the scene slowly fades out....))
