[font color = "black"]"Let me ask you something, Hornet.... what's worse? Being insulted or being ignored?"
Eli Flair is sitting in a bar with his feet up on the table in front of him. A pitcher of beer is on the table, and a half- empty pint glass is in his hands.
"How many times are you gonna have to be told before you learn? Poison Ivy and I were a team. You do something to one of us, you do something to BOTH of us. Didn't you learn that at Anniversary 1999?"
"Regardless, Hornet.... you might've made sense when you said you wanted the three of us to stake a claim on the CSWA, but at no time.... at no time.... did you ever KNOW me. Randalls and I saw this as a war.... you saw it as a publicity stunt. Melissa took a table because hey, omelettes and eggs, my friend. And I'm not the one who worries about getting 'over'.... or do I need to ask you who quit the CSWA to see who cared, then came back because nobody did?"
While you've always reveled in bringing up things that are happening in my personal life to try and get 'over' on me, either as the businessman or the martyr, you can't see past your own hype. Who cares whether Hornet is the hero or the businessman, as long as he's foremost on everyone's mind?"
"Pot, kettle, black, Hornet.... I do what I do because I f**king feel like it at the time.... you do what you do because you think it'll sell you some T-shirts."
"It must be tragic to not have a life beyond the wrestling business, Hornet.... to not be able to see beyond the tape collection in Merritt's office.... to not even have a real name. You think I've gone to you for a 'weekly dose of self esteem', Hornet? When did this happen? When I was dropping Troy Windham on his head in the middle of a steel cage, or when I was keeping Randalls from tearing YOUR head off?"
"My personal problems haven't affected my performance in the ring for almost seven years. Yours, on the other hand, have won and lost championships, won and lost allies, and destroyed what SHOULD have been the most powerful triad in the history of the CSWA. Congratulations.... for the first time in half a decade you've done something that people will remember."
Eli drains his pint and refills the glass.
"All things considered, Hornet.... I don't know whether to pummel you or pity you. You're a sad, lonely man."
