Genesis 52 Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Genesis tears the roof off the Hala Wielofunkcyjna in Lodz

Lodz, Poland - July 30th, 2010 - An American wrestling company known only as Genesis (based in Burlington, Massachusetts) made a stop in Lodz amidst their world tour.

This event was the 52nd weekly webcast and it appeared on the several local television stations that picked up a deal with the promotion to fill their schedules. The promotion is garnering a bit of attention due to their several successful pay per views and straight forward approach to wrestling. In addition Genesis fans can watch their favorite superstars throughout the week as they prepare for their upcoming matches.

On hand at Genesis 52 were some of the fastest rising names in the independent wrestling scene.

The evening started off with a segment teasing the possible return of the former Genesis Champion Charger X.

This was followed by Joe, formerly known as Jobber X going a little off the handle against the debuting AJ Olsen to earn himself a disqualification.

Michael Mason then made an impact as he took on Superfast Jellyfish. We then saw "The Wizard" Mike Evens take out Cash Money Jones and send him on his way out of Genesis.

Things faded to the back where there was an altercation between the Hero Champion Future and his opponent of the night Kintaru.

As the show continued Kara McKay proved that she could handle her own against the men of Genesis when she took out Matt Winslow. Similarly the mystical Hologram took out former GWA champion AJ Johnson with little effort.

Then things took a turn for the interesting as "The Preacher of Pain" Sam Hershey put his Television Championship on the line against "The Preacher of Pudding" Kyle Kendrick in a food court match. Things got pretty messy and these guys did a number on the food court but when all was said and done we had a new Television Champion. After the match however several druid looking characters came in to wheel Hershey off in a casket.

The show continued with Damion Xavior making Liam Lowe look like a bit of a joke in his second match here in Genesis. After this Olaf attempted to attack Stephen Messier but Messier was prepared with a lead pipe in tow.

After this Tom Carnage defeated Christian Seivers in a very hotly contested battle. Carnage's Exodus stablemate Ikaika Satele wasn't as lucky however. On his way to the ring Satele was ambushed by Joe and this made him an easy opponent for Stephen Messier to handle.

The stars aligned in the next match when Hero Champion Future went head to head with Kintaru for a shot at the Genesis championship. This match was an epic battle that kept the fans captivated. In the end Kintaru was able to get the win and finally earn a shot at the Genesis championship. There is a bit of controversy about this however because the word on the street is Exodus tampered with the Choose Your Own Adventure voting to rob Future of his opportunity at a shot.

Following this match was the main event. It wasn't much of an event though as the match really didn't take place. Olaf came down to the ring not prepared to fight and shook the champion's hand. After this however Stephen Messier ran down to the ring and offered his attempt at finishing the job with that lead pipe.
