Main event of the Chicago supercard signed!
NEWARK -- The main event of PWA's first worldwide television supercard has been announced. On February 28th, LIVE on The CW Network, the PWA World Heavyweight Champion Chris Williams will team up with "The Badger" Robert Garland, to take on the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, Michael Smart, and his partner... the PWA World Television Champion Roc Anderson.
In what could possibly be the biggest match that PWA has ever promoted, topping the first ever World Heavyweight Championship match, it will be the very first match in PWA history where both Champions compete on opposing sides. It is the first PWA match to feature both Champions AND the number one contender. It is also the first tag team match in PWA history where one set of partners both have managers, and the other side do not (Williams has a valet, but she does not regularly come to the ring with him).
Along with major speculation as to what the match stipulation will be, PWAwrestling.com has issued a statement proclaiming that the match will go on under No Rules conditions. A No Rules match is best described as a match in which all of the traditional rules of wrestling do not apply. This simply means there are no disqualifications, which itself eliminates count outs, the barring of interference, and rope breaks.
PWA wishes to invite everyone who enjoys professional wrestling to bare witness to one of the wrestling events that the world will be talking about for a long time to come. CHICAGO STYLE airs on The CW Network on 2/28 at 10 PM.
