Featured Main Event:  Marcus Gratton vs. Chris Childs

More Info:   The fallout from the King of the CyberRing will be witnessed at the IWL’s first Overdrive since the historic pay-per-view. In announcement that shocked IWL fans everywhere as well as the entire locker room, Leon Holmes revealed that Sammy J would be going head-to-head against the man that targeted her at the King of the CyberRing, Pitbull. He was able to get the better of their exchanges in the ladder match, but will history repeat itself?

The next match of the evening is also in direct response to the events in the aforementioned ladder match, in the form of a tag team outing. The Blazing Salvo and Hellbender will team up against the mentor-protégé antics of A.J. Phoenix and Hawk, leaving one to wonder who will be the team left standing. Hellbender and Salvo had an absolutely brutal exchange during the six-man ladder match, and Salvo’s own suicidal efforts left both men removed from the fray. Will they be able to coexist long enough to finish of Phoenix and Hawk, the latter being the man who sacrificed himself so that his mentor could win the match?

Certainly Leon Holmes must have tag teams on the brain as he announced that the number one contender for the IWL Television Title, Click, will team with the incredibly egotistical (yet tremendously talented) Jose Ramon. These two men share very little in common on the surface, but both have an equal interest in their opponents. The opposite team will feature IWL Intercontinental Champion T-Bird, the woman that was able to put Ramon down for the count at the KoCR and take his precious title away from him. And her partner will be the longest reigning IWL Television Champion of all time, The Nightmare; a man that will be forced to defend his title against Click in the very near future. With all of these egos and titles involve din one match, mayhem is sure to ensue!

And what Overdrive would be complete without a First Impressions match featuring IWL’s recent signees? This will be a triple threat match involving Kehrl Feren, Steven Eden, and Madam Jessi. Will the “Scourge of Romania” prove that he is just as dangerous as he claims? Will Steve Eden simply overpower his opponents with his unbelievable sex appeal? Will Madam Jessi dominate these two boys like she has every other man to cross her path? The possibilities are truly dizzying.

In a match straight out of the KoCR “What Ifs”, Marcus Gratton will go one-on-one with Chris Childs. Both men failed to make it past the first round in the King of the CyberRing tournament, so there is no doubt that they will be out with something to prove at Overdrive. To win this match, Gratton will have to refocus his efforts on the IWL, with his sights plainly focused on Childs. But Childs will not go gently into that good night following his loss. He claims to have learned from it and will no doubt struggle to regain his previous momentum.

Overdrive will culminate in a very special ceremony to coronate the new King of the CyberRing, “The San Francisco Treat” Michael Platt. Following his win in the tournament, he revealed his new manager to the entire world, Laverle Emmanuel. It is expected that his manager will be present for the ceremony as well and will most likely have some choice words for the IWL Heavyweight Champion, Crazy Boy. But Crazy Boy is not likely to take any criticism lying down, so this pair may want to curb their juvenile antics for the coronation.

This is going to be a jam-packed event on the road to CyberSlam and the IWL welcomes everyone to attend. As a special promotion, it will be distributing punch and pie to the first 500 people through the door.
