Submitting League News
League News is intended to allow leagues to hype their latest events, storylines and characters to the largest audience for fantasy wrestling online. League news should be in-character and may be submitted by anyone in a league, so we encourage you to use it as a another way to build on angles and create buzz.
1. Log into the Content Manager and select “Submit League News” from the main menu.
2. Fill out the form using the following tips:
a. Remember that news should be in-character. This is not the place for a flat out advertisement.
b. “League”: Choose the league you are submitting news for. Note: the league must have filled out a league profile in order to be included in the list.
c. “Subject”: This is the headline. Keep it brief or it will be cut automatically by the system. The league acronym will automatically be added on the front based on the league you selected. For example: CSWA: News Headline
d. “News Text”: This is the body of the news.
e. “News Snippit”: Clip the top of your news item or enter a lead line here that will be displayed on the main page. Do not exceed the length of the four-line field.
f. “Link to Site”: Include the link to the home page or site referenced in the news, starting with http://
g. “Logo to Display”: Select a league logo. If there is not one uploaded for your league, select the “default.jpg” option. To have a logo added, post a note in the “Fantasy Wrestling Discussion” area on FW Central at http://fwrestling.com/fwc.
