Blackout PPV
Note: NWF Blackout has now been posted. Sorry for my delay on getting the news up.
The National Wrestling Federation is set to put on it's second edition of Blackout on Pay-Per-View. Last year's event was at the Memorial Stadium in Bakersfield, California. This year, Blackout comes from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. It's presented by X-NET, and features what should be one of the most memorable matches of all time.
With the unfortunate closing of Lights Out Wrestling, one of it's biggest upcoming matches was doomed to never take place... until, "Superstar" Eric Russo, the LOW Extreme Champion, made an appearance at NWF Anarchy on Pay-Per-View, calling out former NWF World Heavyweight Champion, The Demond. These two were engaged in a bitter rivalry in LOW, and now, Russo has brought it to the NWF. The Demond made a shocking appearance at a recent edition of Breakdown, and he accepted the challenge. To top it off, NWF Commissioner BoneCrusher then contacted the former LOW Executives, and with their permission, the match that was set to take place in LOW will now be held in an NWF ring. The Demond vs. Russo, for the LOW Extreme Championship... in a Sadist Match!
Picture this. A domed cage AND an electrified cell. Inside the cage, scaffolds. Weapons everywhere. The outside lined with demolition compound C-4. Not to mention, the cocky but extremely talented Eric Russo, and the 7' 8" monster, The Demond. The NWF has been known to have some very over-the-top extreme matches, but this one is set to blow them all away.
Also on the card, the NWF World Tag-Team Championship, as the Hellfire Club (Blizz and "The Natural" Adam Killing) defend against the New World Revoultion's team of Avalanche and the NWF National Heavyweight Champion, Michael Brian Killion.
The Clash of the Ego Trip, as the New World Revolution's Slim takes on his former Ego Trip Tag-Team Partner, former NWF World Heavyweight Champion "Big D" Daniel Mulholland.
The NWF World Television Championship will be on the line, as the New World Revolution's Ivy defends against Jacob Kavanagh.
And, in the main event, The leader of the New World Revolution, NWF World Heavyweight Champion Oni defends his title against his former mentor, the man without fear, NFM!
It all happens this Sunday Night at the Georgia Dome, live and only on Pay-Per-View.
