Ultimate Mayhem Preview
As December’s nears it can only mean one thing for the ESW. (www.ESWONLINE.com) The mark of our 3rd year! Yes for 3 glorious years the ESW has quietly slogged it’s way through the virtually junkyard of 1 million failed e-feds only to have some new and up coming crap fed be proclaimed as the best of the best ever…..So what has our small tight knit group have been up to you ask?
Well simply they have been busy rewriting the history books of course.
Current ESW World champion Rob Slipstream Richards set a milestone in his second tenure as Champ. He past the 100 day mark. Slipstream won the World title way back in July and hasn’t even come close to losing it since.
Although his biggest match and biggest threat stood ahead of him this past Monday on pay per view, Whispers of Immortality. Widowmaker a former two time ESW World champion in his own right was rewarded by co owner Steve Sinclair to face Slipstream for the ESW World title. Widowmaker was up to the challenge and looked to be destined to win as the match started and even thou in the very end Widowmaker did win, he did not however pick up the ESW World title.
ESW legend Kid Krazy added his very own two cents by attacking just about everyone and it was head referee Jusin best judgment to throw the match out.
In the end Slipstream gets to keep his streak alive and he looks to reel in the ultimate record of 156 days as a champion currently held by Griffin.
In other news the first b**** of the ESW Rayne with her victory over the hateable Sick Nick at WOM, picked up her 63rd victory in the ESW, which as you can tell is also a record.
Speaking of Sick Nick, he was named September’s Superstar of the month, the first time he has done so. In other Sick Nick news, His girlfriend and former ESW TV Champion Angel finally returned after mystery disappearing some 4 months ago and while Nick was happy to see her, he wasn’t so trilled to learned she was pregnant.
If you watched WOM you learned that wrestling icon and ESW commissioner JT Blackout had to return to Japan to take care of some pressing family issues and while some are thrilled that he is gone, (Sick Nick, Nanook to name a few) Blackout’s departure does leave a hole in the ESW, namely who will be the next ESW Commissioner. I have it from a good source that starting Monday at Ultimate Mayhem Steve Sinclair will start a new search to name a replacement as ESW’s Commissioner.
Coming up on the 24th when Ultimate Mayhem returns, three time ESW Survivor champion will defend his title against new comer The Hardcore Kid. While it’s nothing new for new faces to the ESW to get title shots so quickly in their careers, one has to think if Soul Reaver is up to the challenge to get all hardcore in the ESW’s version of the hardcore title.
TV Champion Exodus who’s knee is doing better returns to action to face ESW World champion Slipstream, in a match that was originally scheduled for WOM.
Also Kid “freaking” Krazy will meet Widowmaker in a match that no doubt was booked due to last week’s mayhem in the World title match.
