West Conference Officially Announced

You throw Eddie Mayfield and Craig Miles into the same room and you'd expect it to implode. Yet, March 3, 2005 -- seated on opposite sides of a room, the former tag team partners turned archnemesis attended a press conference that unveiled quite possibly the plans to their own destruction.

It was haunting, stark, but easily news that may propel New Frontier Wrestling into the top global wrestling organization for 2005. Orated by Quentin Sullivan, but designed by the former Professionals themselves, Fwrestling.com was proud to learn that in NFW's Season 2, a newly created West Conference will indeed contain some of the deepest, long-seeded rivalries known to the circuit.

Twenty contracts were drawn up and now apparently Eleven remain as Miles, Mayfield, "Mr. Magnificent" Tom Adler, "Total Elimination" Eli Flair (fWo World Champion), Troy Windham, Deacon (2005 fWo Bodycount winner), "The Last Angry Man" Marcus Cameron, Avery Prosser and "The Wolf" Mike Randalls have all penned their names to be apart of the inaugural West roster.

Quentin Sullivan elaborated that Craig Miles and Eddie Mayfield will be in charge of recruiting, but that all participants still have to be approved by NFW's Board of Directors.

President Sullivan also stated that perhaps once this "War" settles, the aftermath will have produced a legacy that attracts the best wrestlers to the New Frontier for more than just this season.

Its too early to tell what kind of wrestlers the remaining eleven contracts will entail, but many pundits are looking at the initial signings and drooling over the possibilities of not only who would be crazy enough to jump into this vendetta-filled conference, but also...who's good enough to get approval to compete?
