A1E

A1E returned from their tour of Japan with a resounding success in the box office; however, unless your name is Ken Cloverleaf and you held a championship, you were greeted to less than successful results at Cyber Brutality. Chip Friendly, the Weston Outlaws, Duchess and Roderick McRatrick all lost their titles (Survivor, Tag, Cyber and Triple Star respectively) to Mr. Incredible, the Canadian Revolution, James Irish and Damon Blackburn, respectively. Cloverleaf held onto his title only by virtue of a double disqualification against Torment.

Upon coming back to the states, there was a HUGE shock as Beast joined the Canadian Revolution at the close of the first stateside Tuesday Night Wrestling in almost two months. It was a move that stunned the entire locker room and wrestling community. The last time something of this magnitude took place in this reporters opinion was when Hulk Hogan joined the New World Order. Beast made his intentions known when he came down and attacked Big Dog while he was aiding Duchess from an attack on the Revolution, whcih is also comprised of AJ Cirrus and BC Steele.

Empire Pro
Speaking of Beast, he got the week off in the ring at the last Aggression in Tulsa, but he shot his mouth off at the top of the show, directing his venom at "Your Hero" Sebastian Dodd. Dodd and Beast have been trading barbs week after week, and Beast felt he had something to say. For his troubles, Dodd was rewarded with an Intercontinental Title shot against JA.

That title shot will take place on the first of three Texas-sized shows leading up to EPW's fourth pay-per-view event, Russian Roulette in Houston. The tournament to crown a new number one contender heats up with impressive newcomer Dis taking on Adam Benjamin and Clapper, fresh of a cheap win over Cross, taking on Troy Douglas.

In the other big news of the week, Boogie Smallz was fired for failing a drug test on the air. The last standing GXW Champion was blindsided by the announcement, and no word yet on what actions he'll be taking, if any.

New ERA
New ERA's second pay-per-view event, BattleBRAWL, is nearly upon us, and there is a lot of friction heading into the big battle royale to decide the Television Champion. As of yet, the main players in the match look to be Jason Payne, Cameron Cruise, The Phantom Republican, John Doe and Madonna Wayne Gossard, whose contraversial promo featuring Ashlee Simpson tossing Krist Blue's salad turned some heads. It looks to be a hot match, even if no one else decides to show up.

The other two matches are for gold as well, as Jean Rabesque, with DREDD lookign over his shoulder, will take on Chaos and ANTEUS in a steel cage brawl for his NEW World Championship. Will we find out who the masked ANTEUS is? The world may never know. The woman's Spin-a-Wheel, Make a Deal match ought to be hot as well. NEW hopes to bring Women's wrestling back to the forefront, something that hasn't been done on the FW circuit for awhile.
