This Week on ESEN: April 14, 2008

There's more than a fair share of quality programming out in the world of wrestling right now and nobody covers the sport like ESEN Sports.

This week of April 14th, there's a few hot stories in development. We've got action ranging from A1E all the way down to the TEAM Invitation Tournament.

Starting with the aforementioned A1e, their war with EPW Owner Dan Ryan continues on the latest Warfare as they bring down the house in the New Orleans Arena giving the recovering city one night of wrestling excellence that only the top-flight Canadian promotion can bring!

Speaking of EPW Owner, Dan Ryan...what a schedule he's looking at for the future. On April 8th, 2007 he faced Nova in Birmingham, Alabama as part of a CSWA event that will FINALLY be televised very shortly once ESEN obtains the legally released copies from the CSWA. Then, almost 365 days later, he's not only got the EPW Black Dawn PPV release coming, but he proverbially put his OWN cherry on top...by challenging Nova to a NFW World Championship Title match at the April 17th NFW SUPERFan Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Keep in mind, they're scheduled to face at WRESTLESTOCK 2...and that's not the interfed event that NEW since hasn't recovered from. This is the 50,000 fan attendance NFW version.

Of course, this decision was prompted by the finale to NFW's Crash .44 Magnum Wrestling Summit that will end its rerun schedule this week in anticipation for their final sprint towards Wrestlestock 2.

Finally, we're happy to report that all promotional work has been done for the TEAM Invitational Tournament's Round 2 action and that their Epicenter recap of the action that went down is expected in the next few days.

What to look for next week: NAPW/REBEL SUPERSHOW V! CSWA PRIMETIME FLASHBACK! A1E VS. EPW CONTINUES! EPW'S BLACK DAWN! TEAM'S SWEET SIXTEEN! NFW SUPERFan Summit LIVE FROM VEGAS! ...whew, this month is HEATING up the Spring!
