Biography/Profile:

Eddy has long blonde hair, almost always sprayed to perfection.  Eddy often uses his attire to summarize his points. His vast array of T-shirts are a constant source of entertainment. Love will brawl if forced into it, but prefers to wrestle a technical match. Love's wrestling skills and endurance are his strengths in the ring. Love has been known to intentionally take punishment early in a match to set the pace and feel out his opponent. If there is a shortcut available, Eddy considers it his for the talking. A technical rulebreaker in the mold of a young Ric Flair (yes he was young once, wasn't he?) Love was an Collegiate wrestler at Clemson University who threw over the ACC championships for a local tough man competition, that resulted in the beating of his life and the loss of his eligibility. 

Struggling to make a living he was discovered by Sweet Melissa, the daughter of the legendary wrestling manager Large William. Melissa, who was raised around the gym introduced Eddy to her scientific approach to mat preparation and the two's success speaks for the rest.

Love rose to prominence quickly in the CSWA in 1998, winning the CSWA World Championship Tournament, including a win over Hornet.  His feud with Mark Vizzack for the World Title proved legendary, although he came out on the losing end.  He has also captured the Unified Tag Titles as one-half of the Powers of Love, until their breakup in late 1999.
