(Tom asked me to post this for him.)

(CUT TO: A beach located in bucolic ROCKPORT, MAINE. The North Atlantic waves crash against the stone jetty to the far right of the screen. The camera pans around showing a smiling CAMERON CRUISE, his hair a little mulleted, wearing a black sleeveless shirt reading REALITY CHECK in white. And on his left shoulder is the Troy Windham Championship of Troy Windham Wrestling.)

CRUISE: Y'know, I've always known. I've always known what the boys in the back have said about me. About what the critics have said about me. Heh --even what some of you people sitting there at home have said about me.

The meme goes something like this. Cameron Cruise is a NICE wrestler. He's a DECENT wrestler. But he's not an ELITE wrestler. He just doesn't... he just doesn't have that charisma to make it as a star. He makes a great straight man for Joey Melton's ridiculousness, but he's... he's a bit BORING.

Well, boring I may be. I'll admit that right away. Wrestling's a tough sport. I've been on the road for 19 straight days, and there's nothing I like better then heading on down to my home down in Jacksonville, NC, taking a few hours to myself, and then driving on down to the Outer Banks where I can just listen to the waves crash onto the beach.

But while people have said all kinds of who-knows-what about me, deep down inside I've always KNOWN something about myself. Everyone else can dismiss me... but I've always known that I *BELONG* on the short list of the world's greatest wrestlers. I *DESERVE* a chance to run with the ball. I am someone who can put a promotion on his shoulders and TURN IT into something special.

And I've done just that. Troy Windham, I'll give you all the credit in the world. You're one hell of a wrestler, one of the best of all time. And you've used that to become a man who appears on The View, a man makes TV movies, a man who gets to cut the red tape at outlet mall openings throughout the mid-Maine region. You're a star, a huge name. And you never said anything bad about me, to my knowledge, but that's because you had no idea who I ever was.

Well, guess what, Troy? Cameron Cruise is THE EPITOME of your very own promotion! I stole the title from you in the SCWF and I used the knowledge of my accountant to help me RETAIN this title after you bought the league. I've got THIS (Cruise taps the belt) and you... DON'T.

And I will do absolutely ANYTHING to make sure I remain that way for the rest of my career.

Now, my first title defense here in TWW isn't coming against Troy Windham.I've got to put him in the BACK of my mind, something a little hard to do since I know he'll do anything to take this from my hands. My opponent is Tabu2, the brother of the man I beat in the SCWF to win this belt.

Tabu2, it's been hard to prepare for you, being that there's only some scratchy Bigfoot-style video footage of you. But you wrestle like your brother, a champion whom has nothing but my respect. But the title he owned was my opportunity to make the leap into becoming the household name I always knew I could become.

Tabu2, I just want to let you know... I want to let Troy Windham know... I want to let anyone who wants this belt know... I want to let the WORLD know...

Cameron Cruise doesn't defend this title.

Cameron Cruise ATTACKS anyone who dares to think he can take HIS title away from him.

And that's a reality check... you... just... won't... like.

(Cameron smirks and turns back to look at the ocean. FTB.)

Sorry Tabu doesn't have a brother, in fact he was created by my brother who passed away in a car accident last year - thus DON'T use characters that you don't have creative control over or add members to their family.

How `bout we pretend there was a second Tabu, and that Tabu2 is in no way related to the one your brother handled; rather, he's the brother of this different Tabu. Problem solved!

(CUT TO: Tabu2, wearing a headdress, pale scarred skin, big silver shiny pants, in front of a hastily made TWW bedsheet on a white bedsheet.)

TABU2: On behalf of Troy Windham Wrestling, and at the behest of the Spirit Godz whom have dictated to PowerMaster that I come out here to discuss a controversy which has emerged, I am here to offer a public apology.

(Tabu2 gulps.)

I am not Tabu2's brother. I... I am simply the original Tabu's BIGGEST fan. I've been in wrestling school for about five months now and have patterned my entire wrestling career after my... my hero. I have been posing as his brother in order to help me get my foot in the door as opposed to my own merits.

I... I will try and think up of another name... but... but for one last match, I will use the name TABU2 in tribute to the man who made me want to become a wrestler in the first place.

And, Cameron Cruise, shine up that nice title. Because it's coming home with me!

(Tabu2 raises his finger in the air and crouches down and looks to the sky. CUT OUT.)

Actually,

Gethard will remember that in the old AAWC, Mad Dog Joe M. created a character named Tabu that was a replica of Sabu. Maybe it's him all along!

I do remember. During one of my trademark vacations, but yep.

Anyways, I think I handled this in a way that's fair to everyone. Tabu2 offered an apology and explained he's not his brother but a Tabu fan who pretended to be his brother to get his foot in the door. After this card, he's gone forever. But in the mean time, there's a character whose favorite wrestler in Tabu -- that's putting the character over in a BIG way and I think something that's a very good thing.

I can't see how there's a problem with any of that. Sorry if there's any stress on anybody's part, it wasn't my intent and obviously if I knew about the character's backstory I would have not touched it.

Also, I'd appreciate it if this is the last post in this thread. Let's all move on -- I know I have.
This is all in good fun which is what FW's all about.
