How did you find DEFIANCE? Already there as Arthur Pleasant on the main roster and Michael Van Warren in BRAZEN.
DEFIANCE is an angle fed that asks its roster members to write matches (generally with a feud partner) during each arc they’re involved in. Is this something you’re willing to do? I mean... sure. ;P

Writing Sample

I have this idea for an intro RP but I'd rather save it for either a segment or a Propaganda piece. I don't really want to waste it here, but if needed I can come up with an impromptu "tryout" RP. It's all good either way, just lmk. :)

Wrestler(s) Information

Ring Names:
Tag Team name is "Those Parker Lions" (Lane Parker and Holden Parker)
Height: Lane; 6'2" | Holden; 6'1"
Weight:
Lane; 265lbs | Holden; 258lbs

Hailing From: (
Both) State College, PA

Theme Music: The Penn State Fight Song

Alignment: Heel

Gimmick: Basically a modern era version of the Steiner Brothers. Only difference being they're xennial pricks. Very self-entitled and self-aware of how good they are as a tag team. One always accompanies the other during singles matches and usually get involved if things aren't going their way. This is about the only time they will ever cheat.

Wrestling Style: Lane is the power of the two, while Holden is more athletic than power (though he's still pretty strong. Despite being heels, Those Parker Lions do not cheat. They'll get under the skin of the crowd but they are a fierce tag team with a lot of brotherly chemistry (think Usos in that regard).

Three Weaknesses:
Team:
1. Overly confident
2. New to pro-wrestling
3. Play to the crowd too much after "big strong boy" moves.

Lane:
1. Goes to the well too often.
2. No self-control with bad referee calls.
3. Hot Headed.

Holden:
1. Goes to the well too often.
2. Shows off with his speed and agility a little too much.
3. Tunnel vision with submissions.

Three Strengths:

Team:
1. Super strong
2. Superb Chemistry
3. Great mat wrestlers having come from Division I wrestling at Penn State.

Lane:
1. Incredible Strength
2. Suplex Machine
3. When busted open, becomes "HULK SMAAASH!"

Holden:
1. Incredible Agility
2. Submission Specialist
3. Incredible Speed

Yes please! I love the concept and will never say no to more heel teams, as we're skewing pretty heavily on the face side right now and I know it's been hard for some folks to find angle partners.

Only minor thing: I know we try to be good about moves and doubling up, and Brock Newbludd's MDK is the Steiner Screwdriver. Not sure if that's a big deal for folks (or for Gorman) but just an FYI. But I vote yes.

I love the app and I'm a big Steiner Brothers stan too lol. I say yes to the app long as the finishing moves change a little as Joe pointed out

I vote yes too and love the team gimmick. As far as the screwdriver goes...HOW DARE YOU.

I kid. Brock’s is a Phillips screwdriver so if yours is a flathead it could work.

Mine's definitely a flathead. :geek:

But srsly I can change it to something else if you or anybody else has an issue with it. I'm going over devastating moves that look like they could kill someone right now. 👀

The irony that this reminds me of the SHOOT Project’s Carolina Lions aside, do you think you’ll have the time to dedicate to running this team and Arthur in addition to what you’re doing in Classic?

Well I don’t know what/who the Carolina Lions are as I haven’t followed SHOOT in several months. So if there’s some type of similarity there, it’s purely coincidental. This idea was brought on by my love of the Steiners and seeing an old match with the Steiners and Money Inc. from back in the WWF.

As for Classic? It takes very little time from my schedule since it’s 750 words every two weeks, if you’re even booked, otherwise it’s monthly. So there’s no issue there. Otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed while I was going through the stuff that I went through IRL.

It should be noted that DEFIANCE and Classic are the only feds I’m in or will be in for the foreseeable future so my focus will be 100% more than it ever was in DEFIANCE since I was only ever active there in the past while I was busy writing a shit ton in SHOOT and HOW.

Thought of a better finisher to use for Lane Parker, btw. Military Press into Misawa's Emerald Flowsion. For some reason I can't edit my original post so I thought I'd put it here.

You got the votes and I'm satisfied with the willingness to tweak movesets and things. I'll get you bios set up this weekend and since it's about to be a new arc, perfect time to jump back in.
