I have to say this because it's really silly.. But as you all might know the World Whinning Federation or World Worthless Entrapment (WWE) is cracking down on all real wrestler and real/fake wrestler E-Feds the use the WWF or WWE as their organization.. This I find udderly humiliating to the fans who create these empires with their own time and passion for the business.. Unfortunatly those at Tit-head(Titian) Sports think this is nessicary and are threating lawsuits against anyone who doesn't remove their website with the WWF or WWE slogans. This proves to be a slap in the face to all those who love the product and to those who have come to know this product through such ventures as E-Feds, how else would most of the E-Fed community know how to cut a kick ass promo without a little televised or taped segment of a program? I have only two words for WWE and that's this: F**K THEM!! There egos or should I say Vince's ego is getting out of hand.. His pocketing of the majority of WWE stock is one thing because it's his company but insulting the fans by taking their fun away is another thing..

Vince has a right to crack down on the feds that use WWE characters. I mean, those are his trademarked entities. It doesn't matter if Handler X cuts a promo better as Billy Gunn than Billy Gunn does.

Besides, any e-fed worth its salt will have generated and original characters. And Vince isn't cracking down on those.

While I see J_A's point to a degree, I also know that I cut my teeth on real wrestler leagues back on Prodigy Classic. I also know that if I were still running a league such as that, I wouldn't give in to any pressure from the WWE as long as I wasn't making any money from the useage of their copyrighted characters and wasn't doing anything abnormally wrong from the normal actions of said characters.

Vince has no claim against feds that use generated characters. Copyright laws against non-generated feds that use WWE likenesses I can see him going after, but he can't do sh*t to the rest of them.

I totally agree that Vin's ego is out of control, I mean jeezus. Efed's will never affect the WWE, never in a million years. My fed is for real and original, and I see nothing wrong with that.

Besides where's the proof this **** is even happening, personally I dont believe it for a mille-second.

Hmmm, Hypothetically.

So if I were to go out and spend millions of dollars on an efed.. and trademark all of the characters in the name of the handlers, then copyright all of the stuff that I've done in the name of myself and the handlers, and Vin-Man came in and started using my trademarks.. would you expect me not to sue?

Why is it then that what Vince is doing is bad? If I were to be out money and my players were out of money because Vince decided to hijack our stuff I'd be in his face immediately.

Now you'll say well none of these feds that are closing are making money

1. How do you know they aren't pay to play?

2. How do you know that WWE isn't going to open a fantasy wrestling fed?

3. How do you know the fed mentioned in 2 isn't going to be pay to play?

If 2 and 3 pan out then it makes perfect sense. *****ing about something that Vince has every legal right in the world to do is unproductive and a waste of time. Better to put those minutes typing paragraphs into your original wrestler feds for your own players and staff to enjoy.

(Edit: Because frankly there are better writers in the ew hobby than there are working for WWE right now. It's not going to effect the hobby.)
