A Payne-ful update

Two weeks in Maryland and I'm just now getting to a computer at the local library. Such is my shcedule these days it seems. Things are going well. I'm currently looking for a place right now while staying with a friend of mine. I'm giving myself a week to find a good deal on a rental house, but if that falls through, then I'll look at getting an appartment or townhouse in the meantime.

Not sure when I'll be back online but I'm trying to get everything else taken care of first. Getting internet is a low priority right now so please bear with me on that.

Anyways, just wanted to drop a line to let you all know what is going on and such. I'll be sure to let you know what happens next soon enough.

Well this was fast. I got approved for a townhouse yesterday abouty two hours after I left the library. I move in on the 28th. Rental houses around here are either way too overpriced, or they are complete ****holes...so I decided it would be best if I just got a townhouse for now and then get the wife and kids out here, and then we can go from there. Maybe if things are differnt a year from now when my lease is up, we can look at the house thing again, even consider buying one.

I'm living in Leonardtown MD right now but soon I will be getting a townhouse in Great Mills. I work at NAS Pax River in Lexington Park MD so that kind of gives you an idea of where I'm running around at if you look at a map.

Hey-yo gang,

I just wanted to drop you guys a line to let you know what the latest is with me, since I know there is a few of you guys curious as to what my plans are for when I get back online.

As of right now, here is the situation. I take possession of my townhouse this Friday. Things have already been set in motion for my household goods to be moved out here, but as of right now, I don't have a timetable for when they should arrive. I'm hoping they get here sometime next week.

Once my furniture gets here and I get things unpacked and settled, that is when I am going to worry about internet and luxuries such as that. My original timetable for getting back online was around New Years, and I plan to hold to that for the most part. It's possible that I could be back before that, but with everything that has to fall into place, that would be very fortunate.

Anyways, that is where I stand as of right now so I will see you guys soon from my own house I'm sure rather than library. Everyone take care, and have a good holiday if for some reason you don't see me beforehand.
