(OOC: Sorry for the delay in getting a roleplay up, my finals were this week. But hey still managed to post first I guess....)

========================================================

"Right here in this very ring."

(Camera opens up in a wide area shot, Jason Reeves is standing in 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. The EPW logo is in the middle of the already set up ring. It looks like a recent promotion had just happened but now the lights are dim except for a few pointed directly at the ring. Jason is walking around in the ring looking out into the darkness.)

Stalker: This ring is where it will continue. My quest to dethrone you of that title that you care so little about. We will face each other in yet another tag match. Both of us with partners that we could care less to have, but yet we must. That was the challenged that was laid out by Dis, and all parties involved accepted it. Obviously I would much rather be facing you alone, Anarky, for your world title. But.... That's not up to me as you so clearly stated. Now with Caitlyn Daymon crying her eyes out to Dan Ryan I may never get what I deserve.

Someone needs to shut that b*tch up.

It's a shame though that Larry Tact is getting thrown into all of this. I have no business with him and him none with me, as far as I know. Yet he volunteered and you accepted him as your partner Anarky. Real question is, can you trust him as your partner? Someone so eager to step into the ring with the likes of.... myself and a complete unknown factor like Dis. That decision, sounds like it comes from the mind of a mad man. Can you trust that kind of mind Anarky?

As for you Dis, I honestly don't know what to say. First you tell me to go back to the children's table and now you are wanting to be my partner. What are your true intentions here? If you think for a second that you will be taking my spot against Anarky, then you are sadly mistaken. From what I can see right now in EPW their is only one choice for Dan Ryan to make and that choice is to put me on the fast track to face Anarky at our next pay per view. Or earlier for that matter, doesn't matter to me. All I know is now that i'm free from the grasps of the tag team titles, I can wreak even more havoc upon Anarky's title reign.... or lack their of.

It's going to be epic, come Aggression 60, in this ring. What will you do, Anarky? What will happen to your crusade to put me down, when I pin you in that ring? What will you be thinking when my arm is raised in victory over your team? Those are some great questions, ones that you better prepare yourself to answer. Like I told you already, I am coming for you AND MY title.

The only question left, is how soon will it happen?

(Jason's face turns into a smirk as the camera fades to the EPW logo.)

Re: This ring

(Dis standing in a ring)

DIS: (voice distorted) I had a vision, it was really beautiful.

The Noble One stepped up and accepted the task of being the Sad King’s partner and battled me and the Lunatic in the main event of Aggression 60.

The Lunatic and I gained control of the Sad King and beat him without mercy, but well at some point the Lunatic screwed things up.

He tends to do that.

Then the Sad King crawled to his corner as did the Lunatic in that great race that seems to happen in all these tag matches.

I get the tag.

The Noble One gets the tag.

He’s a house of fire.

A series of knees, kicks, forearms, clotheslines and other attacks later my head is spinning, I’m in a world of trouble.

Sudden Impact right under my jaw.

I fall like a stone.

Pat Jones slides into position.

One.

Two.

Three.

The Lunatic and I slink away defeated, Pat Jones then presents you and the Sad King with your titles.

You raise your title to the air.

The crowd roars.

The Sad King does the same with his.

They roar again.

You give the Sad King a side-long glance.

He sneers back at you.

The crowd can feel the tension.

They start dueling chants.

Impulse.

Anarky.

Impulse.

Anarky.

Empire Pro Wrestling credits.

Show over.

It could have been.

It was not to be.

You bore yourself fighting men beneath your station.

Men who can’t even hold your attention.

Which is why you spend your time lashing out at me.

Upset that I told you the truth about it all.
You had the path laid before you.

You refused to take it.

So leave me be to handle the affairs of adults while you play at the kid’s table.

You know the Ghandi quote.

We’re at the laughing at you phase.

Now I shall go back to ignoring you.

(Dis leans back against the ropes and stretches)

I do apologize for that diversion.

But like the Noble One, nobody’s talking to me.

I do know why.

The Sad King stands for nothing.

Left to his own devices he’d just drink himself into a stupor in his bar.

He has nothing to say unless spoken to.

In which case his reply when boiled down to its core would be simply “shut up”.

Since he hates the talking so very much.

He just wants to fight you and beat you up.

Till then he doesn’t want to deal with you.

Weird that such a man could rise so far in an industry that is based off so very much talking.

That he tolerates such insults to his greatness.

But that is our esteemed Empire Pro World Champion.

I’m sure he’ll show up at some point and tell me I’m not that witty or smart and that he’ll beat my ass.

I play Sad King bingo when I watch him talk.

I usually get bingo, cover-all is a bit harder but he pulls it off from time to time.

All the old classics.

Three Seconds.

Some declaration that he hates the title.

A declaration that he isn’t worthy or is trying to earn the title he so bitterly hates.

A comment or two about how his opponent is the same as the rest of them.

A statement about how he can’t wait to fight.

These are all the Sad King has.

Sadly it’s more than what his partner has.

His partner just wanted a free ride.

He figured the man that defeated the False Prophet was quite the prize to his career to.

And look at this, old Larry Tact is in the main event of Aggression 60.

I don’t have a nickname for you yet Larry.

I will work on that I promise.

But you are meaningless to me and to Empire Pro.

Just here to steal some of the spotlight of the other three people in this match.

Oh I’m sure you’ll be serviceable in the ring and do a few things to me and the Lunatic that’ll leave us hurting, but in the end it won’t matter.

You’re just here to look pretty and when the Sad King gets in trouble to be the one to take the beating and the loss.

You’re the fall guy.

Cause I know the Lunatic wants a shot at the title and I know he’ll do all he can to look good to impress our boss.

And I’m Dis.

Which makes me far better than Larry Tact ever could be.

And I have a mission too.

To slap the Sad King in the face.

Let him know I’m not fooling around.

You’ll not get in our way Larry.

You’ll just get run over.

Wrong place.
Wrong time.

Just another victim.

And to my partner.

You know what I want.

It’s what you want.

This puts me closer to getting it.

The difference is when I get my chance I will reclaim MY title.

You’ll just fail.

Cause that’s all you are.

A failure.

Re: This ring

(FADEIN to a local watering hole, where Anarky is sitting back, still covered in bruises, drinking a Harpoon IPA. He grimaces as he moves, but there is a slight smile on his face as he leans forward on the bar. Nobody else is around.)

ANARKY: “Deserve. It's such a funny word, isn't it?

“People love using that word. People love talking about what they deserve. Kids deserve candy, old folks deserve Medicare, and Stalker deserves a title shot. Dis wants to reclaim his or her title.

“As Dis lectures me about the business of talking, I can't help but laugh. It's not so much that I don't like talking, Dis.

“It's just that I'm surrounded by children who have nothing to say. They are lifeless husks who are so self-consumed that they simply cannot see outside the little universe they've created where they are the shining star and all of the world simply belongs to them because it's what they deserve.

“Why should I pretend this excites me... ?

“Because you think that's how it should be? Because in Dis's Guide to Better Empire Pro Management and Growth During the Current Fiscal Year, that's how I should be? Because you come up with clever nicknames for people?

“You marginalize everyone around you because all you care about is how great you are. Just. Like. Everyone. Else.

“So go ahead and slap me, Dis. Go ahead and point out how I've repeated a few themes over the last few years. I am stunned you're so perceptive.

“You laugh at Stalker for his obsession with me, but you're not so different. You're such an expert in me. You've collected all of my cards and know all of my lines. I'm honored, really.

“It's like going into the ring and fighting your two biggest fans, except they love you so much they want to do horrible things to you.

“You're both sick human beings, but you, Stalker, really do take it to another level. I know that's something you're proud of, but I assure you, I have grown weary of listening to you drone on and on about how you control this or that.

“You control nothing. In fact, neither do I. We're both just a bunch of useless carbon floating in space before we decay, but you know what? F*ck it, I might as well just come right after you because why the f*ck not.

“Everybody's a critic. I get it.

“But the thing is, guys. And gals. Maybe.

“At the end of the day, a lot of people have gotten really good at getting on the microphone and telling me how deserving and great they are. But in that ring? Where our voices become our violence?

“Very. Few. Speak. Loudly.

“My title. It's a term you two both used. You shared that. The title belongs to you. It's yours. You deserve it, right?

“No. You do not deserve it. You have done nothing except earn my ire. EPW is a minivan and you two are the whining brats in the back who deserve to get slapped in the face every once in awhile.

“I don't want to be your mother, but someone's gotta teach you two some manners.

“Larry Tact wants to come along for the ride, and I don't blame him. For all your disregard of the human being, I'll have you know that about half of the time he wrestles, Larry Tact is actually a really good wrestler.

“Is this going to be one of those times? I don't know. I'm not a fortune teller. Not like you two gypsies. You've got it all figured out. It's called There's A New Champion In Town and it's starring you! You're the best!

“Yessirree. You've got it all figured out. I mean... really... “

(He smiles and takes another swig.)

ANARKY: “... what could go wrong?”)

FADE IN.

(At the conclusion of the New York Giants-Chicago Bears NFL preseason game. The final snap has been taken, the Giants have won 41-13. Fans are filing out of New Meadowlands stadium to head home. CUT TO: inside the team-only access area. Larry Tact is spotted outside one of the executive offices, dressed in a grey collared shirt and stonewashed blue jeans. He looks at the camera and leans against the wall, arms crossed over his chest.)

LARRY TACT: "I thought I would take in a game and see how some other officials do their job. Maybe take some pointers and give a few while I'm here, you know?"

(He smirks.)

"It seems as if all the known suspects have made themselves heard to kick off Aggression 60's Main Event, though. It's about time the unknown quantity chimed in. And I didn't think there would be much unknown about me, but the fact is it seems everytime I step into a place, I'm back to square one. Sometimes it's by my own choice, other times it's just that people don't know any better. Larry Tact is just another sandbagger, or a guy who can be handled when the time comes. Not a true threat."

"I won't deny that I don't exactly evoke the reaction of an Anarky. But I don't think I'm too far behind Stalker. I mean, instead of lapping at Sean Stevens' knees, I was the anchor of Anthology, sending it to its greatest heights once I joined-- then, after being forcibly removed, I watched it fall apart. And I know all about the infamous Stalker beatdowns, I'll give you your due in brutality. But there's something to be said for efficiency, and how Anthology didn't need to throw anyone off a building, onto a car, or any of that over-the-top waste of time to give credence to our objectives."

"And to be honest, I'm not trying to turn this into an, 'I'm better than you because I did more stuff!' diatribe. After all, if you listen to Anarky he'll tell you that half the time, I'm a really good wrestler."

"You should listen to Anarky."

(He hooks his thumbs into his jeans' pockets and leans a leg against the wall.)

"The New York Giants won this preseason game in blowout fashion. It's preseason. If they come out Week 1 and sh*t the bed, that's all people will think about. The Yankees have won 27 World Championships. If they face the Red Sox in the ALCS this year, and f*ck up, they'll be castrated worse than the Mets, who won't even make the postseason. Larry Tact has won his share of titles, had big matches, been in super-groups. If he comes out at Aggression 60 and gets pinned, hell, if his team loses... then he's the guy who blew it."

"It isn't about what you've done, but what you're doing, and what you'll do. It seems Stalker and Dis, all you've said is that you want to get to your title shot. What you had to say about this tag match is that it's a formality, just a time and a place for you to beat up Anarky. I'm an afterthought because I don't fit into the equation of your winning the title."

"That's all well and good, you live by your choices and you'll face the consequences that come with them. Just how it is. But pardon me if I take this match a little more seriously. In fact, screw that, this match is just as important as any I've had in EPW."

"Because I'm not starting at the bottom, I'm at the top of the card. And while Anarky's right, I've been a really good wrestler half the time, it's because maybe I just let my reputation as a really good wrestler carry me through. It happens to everyone at some point, whether they admit it or not. A match where you may even want to bring the passion and the excitement, but for whatever reason, you don't. For me, that needs to stop, Aggression 60 is my time to show I'm committed, plain and simple, that I'm present and ready to sizzle the ropes with my performance."

(He nods.)

"All you really need to know are two things. First: I was given an opportunity to return, and that is performance-based. If I f*ck it up, I've got no one else to blame. And not just in the ring, but that definitely plays apart of it. At Wrestleverse, I did what I was supposed to do, and that's call the match straight up. Say what you want-- I was 'out of position' or 'slow counting'-- and see if I give a damn. The people that matter, you know... the ones who actually do control things here... thought it went fine. So f*ck all the whiners."

"Second thing you need to know: I'm not here to be an add-on, an afterthought, a tagalong, or any of that bullsh*t. I agreed to team with someone I quite simply don't like, in order to seize the opportunity to make my own impact. It seems there's always two or three people who want to stake their claim to the Championship. That's not my objective at Aggression. But if I were to, say, take down two of the loudest mouths crooning over getting a title shot? Well, that may show something to some people... you know, the people who matter."

"Not just someone who will talk because they expected a response from their opponent."

"And didn't get one."

"So they speak in order to know that at least they're enjoying listening to their own voice."

"And that makes them important, relevant, because they're talking."

"If people talk in wrestling, surely they will matter."

"And then they will win the World title."

"And not just someone who thinks he should have a title shot because he's a World Heavyweight Creeper; able to instigate and escalate violence in excess; and showing male PMS may, in fact, exist."

(He holds up a hand.)

"Don't worry, Stalker. That last one's just a crazy theory. You don't really have to worry about that stigma. Yet. Might want to keep Caitlyn Daymon away from you at all costs, though."

"But is there any doubt why he will be the World Heavyweight Champion?"

(He rubs his chin, faux deeply thinking.)

"I considered this all very seriously. I mean, I've been gone for two years, plenty of time. And then I decided.... well, what have I done lately? Not a lot. What have they done lately? Been pestering for a title shot, losing tag team titles, and going through the motions. So what if... I don't know, outwrestled them? What might happen if the talking was silenced, and the motions stemmed, by someone who could step in and help the World Champion defeat you? It sounds like a plan that could potentially throw all those plans into some disarray, send the self-proclaimed contenders headlong into a living stop sign."

"And it isn't that you two can't handle yourselves in the ring. It isn't that Anarky can't outshine any opponent in the ring. But it's what Anarky doesn't say that can be the most interesting thing, at times. Half the time, Larry Tact is a really good wrestler. Now, Stalker and Dis, what you two need to resolve is, what am I the other half of the time?"

"I'll give you a hint: the only thing that gets worse... is the rising, inevitable urge for your hand to start tapping the canvas. And you won't even have to take my word for it. Aggression 60... I'm happy to let you help me make the most of my opportunity."

(He walks over to the executive office and enters, greeting at least one person already inside.)

FADE OUT.

Re: Spoiler

"You are wrong Anarky, my obsession is not with you, it never has been. My obsession revolves around what you DON'T deserve and that's the EPW World Title."

(Jason Reeves, once again standing by himself in the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. EPW logo is still stamped on the ring, and the arena actually looks quite clean. The calm before the chaos.)

Stalker: I will actually fork out money to see Dis slap you, Nark. I really would. It's honestly what you DESERVE. The desire that I have to see you fail is tremendous, the desire that I have to claim what should be mine is unquenchable, the desire I have to make you see what I truly deserve.... well, I really have no desire to make your mind work properly.

I don't understand why you can't comprehend the positions that we are in. The First, with my backing, was supposed to move on from Unleashed as World Champion. Unfortunately, he didn't hold up his end of the bargain. In turn, that screwed me out of what I had already decided. Regardless of your concept that I have no control over the World Title scene, history tells a far different story. The fact that you refuse to acknowledge that shouldn't fall on my shoulders.

You are all wrapped up in my claims of entitlement and I am all wrapped up in making you see the truth. Sadly enough, both of us can't have our way. So in fairness, I think if I pin your shoulders to the ground at Aggression 60, you should MAN the f*ck up and accept what's been going on here. I am coming for what's been rightfully mine for months now, you my friend are just a f*cking placeholder, much like The First was.

As for you Tact, I am not even sure what to say to you. Except for the fact that you are stepping into the ring with 'The Lunatic' and some unknown factor, I have to ask, what do you gain out of this? Anarky's trust? As if that is some type of prize? The man can't even wrap his head around the fact that he doesn't matter here. Are you looking to make a name for yourself by pinning me? Tons of guys have done that already and i'm still here... they aren't.

Finally being in the grasp of what I want so much, why, at this time compared to all others, would you choose to step into the ring with the likes of me? It's a stupid decision, one that you may pay dearly for. As the old saying goes though, Any Given Sunday... I guess that same statement should be applied to wrestling. Just ask The First.

The biggest mistake you made Anarky was thinking that I don't control anything, because sadly you forgot the biggest obstacle in your way with getting me out of your life. This isn't your world.... it isn't EPW's World..... It's MY World.

Welcome.... to STALKER'S WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!

(With a gut wrenching scream, Jason extends his arms out and the camera fades to black.)

Re: Spoiler

(Dis standing in a ring.)

DIS: (Voice distorted) Two of the most pathetic bunch of commentary I’ve ever heard in my life.

The Sad King could barely be bothered to roll out of bed and give us two minutes of his time before getting drunk.

It’s funny you all believe me oh yes, I’m coming back for my title.

(laughs)

Who’s more trust worthy then the masked wrestler?

But you believe, because I tell you to believe.

You buy into the legend of Dis so willingly.

Because I am a legend.

Because fighting a legend is exciting.

If I took this mask off and was some young rookie looking for some attention that would kind of ruin everything wouldn’t it?

But that’s neither here nor there.

Fact is Sad King I do know what you’ll say.

For a simple reason.

You’re Empire Pro’s World Champion.

I care about defeating the person who holds that title.

I don’t care who that person is.

If the Lunatic were to defeat you before I’d get my hands on you, you can rest assured I’d never give you another thought.

So while you think I’m busy writing notes to give to Susie to then pass to you in History class.

“Do you like Dis? Would you ask Dis out to the dance?”

I’m honestly more concerned about just getting back MY Title.

(laughs)

Yes I still claim it’s mine.

Then we have old Larry Tact.

Sorry Larry I tried to come up with a nickname for you.

But really you don’t deserve one.

You’re just a flavor of the week here.

Dan Ryan’s trying to plug the holes in the leaking ship of Empire Pro for a while now.

You mattered to Anthology?

HA!

I barely remembered you were in the group.

Revisionist history is fun for the whole family.

You were nothing Larry.

You are nothing Larry.

You will never be anything Larry.

This is your one shot at greatness.

Your only moment where you might matter in this world.

I don’t see it in you.

You never rise up in these moments.

Like the Lunatic you shrink when the spotlight comes on you.

Only unlike him, instead of potshotting those who excel in the spotlight you just slink further away.

Empire Pro needs greatness.

Greatness will bring this company back to the heights it saw in the years before.

Greatness will sadly be in short supply in that ring for the main event of Aggression 60.

An unwilling champion with his do nothing partner battling a man who’s only claim to fame is that he’s cheated an awful lot on behalf of a great many people.

And someone in a mask who talks a big game.

And the masked wrestler is the biggest attraction.

Cause you’ve all had your chance to do something special.

To somehow stand out from the crowd.

The Sad King assures us he’s not that great.

Not really that special.

That he labors under the weight of the title as a burden and not a blessing.

He longs only for the retirement speech.

A crowd chanting “Thank you Anarky”

And then he can go back to his bar to drink himself to death slowly.

Maybe Dan Ryan takes pity on him and puts him in the Empire Pro Hall of Fame.

We all get to cheer a man who hates us and the industry that made him.

It would be very touching.

The Lunatic has been around for forever.

He was the one who got Brutus to heel turn on Caesar.

But it’s never his knife that hits home.

He takes credit for the plans but never is the one that executes them.

For a simple reason.

He can’t do it.

Those who can do those who can’t teach.

Or in the case of the Lunatic they talk a big game while those around them are the one’s playing the game.

And Larry well the less said about you the better.

In the end the story will be about me.

Because it always is.

Cause I’m the one who matters.

You are just there to make me look even better by comparison.

(Static.)

"My knife doesn't hit home?"

(Jason Reeves, same location.)

Stalker: First off, you are right, you are hiding behind that mask talking a big f*cking game. Let me remind you of something though, you wanted this, not me. You came out at Wrestleverse and asked ME of all people to be your partner. So obviously, regardless of how much of a Lunatic you think I am, you know damn well what i'm capable of.

Or is it what you are incapable of? Your match at Wrestleverse was a win before you even stepped into that ring. So your skills remain to be seen, mine however are well known and documented. Blood will spill, bodies will hurt and bones may be broken.

So it doesn't matter if you are Layne Winters, The First, Rocko Daymon, Dan Ryan, my mom, Anarky's Mom or Anarky himself. It doesn't matter who the f*ck you are, this is my world! NOT YOURS!

Pay attention to that, because if you don't that knife you so clearly described MAY find a new landing spot, YOUR BACK.

MY..... WORLD.... MY.... TITLE.... You are dealing with a man with his end goal in sight, remember that.

A drink for all the Arrogant Bastards.

OORP: I had started this earlier in the day, and so even if it's past deadline, I had felt like finishing it up and posting. :D

FADE IN.

(We find ourselves inside one of New York City's countless sports bars. A few stragglers hang around in the later hours of the night, but most have settled up for the night. Sitting off to the side at a table, pouring a glass of Double Bastard ale from a bottle, is Larry Tact. He wears a pair of relaxed-fitting SilverTab jeans and a short-sleeved Alfani shirt.)

LARRY TACT: "See what you two have gone and done? You've driven me to drink!"

(He laughs quietly, finishing the pour and observing the glass.)

"Actually, I'm just doing a little team building exercise with Anarky. Getting into that proper mindset and all that junk. You wouldn't understand, since you two are so busy squabbling over who can care less about Anarky, more about the title, and wants to win the EPW World Heavyweight Championship with the most ass backwards logic in EPW history."

"Unfortunate and disillusioned may not actually cover what Anarky and I are going to see across the ring from us, at Aggression 60."

(He sets the bottle on the table and lifts the glass.)

"But, opportunity knocks. Like I said, the choices are yours to make, and the consequences are yours to take."

(He nods and takes a healthy sip from the glass, then sets it down.)

"I have to say, I'm really grateful to you both, Stalker and Dis. I'm not sure if it's that you really are trying way too hard at getting Anarky's attention, or if you just really don't have clue one. Either way, I think what you've had to say is just great."

"On the one hand, Dis has been ready to place me right in the same category as Anarky. I'm nothing, irrelevant, this is the only moment when I matter. What was it someone said not too long ago about playing generic-theme bingo? Because I think I just cleared the board with you."

(He smirks.)

"Even better, I'm glad you've decided I'm worthy of the same praise you shower on the EPW World Heavyweight Champion. Stalker's still trying to process the fact I'm in this match, and needs a few more minutes to get the words from his mouth. Maybe once I make an example out of whatever it is you two amount to here, Stalker's jaw will be loosened up some. Maybe then he'll have a little something more to say?"

"But hey, take your time. I'll still be around next week and the week after that, too. I'm not going anywhere, and eventually you two may catch on to what I'm getting at. I don't think anyone believes Dan Ryan is exactly struggling to put together a roster of adequate talent, but Dis you keep on thinking that. The rest of us understand who the only person on the roster is with a secondhand outfit and mask."

"What's the big mystery, anyway? I know Dis was a big deal... around half a decade ago. But that's because it was someone who wasn't just going through the motions and spouting off the 'old classics.' It was someone that had an original bone in their body. And when it turned out that person was Lindsay Troy, it was a big deal because it lived up to the hype. It made history, being EPW's first female Champion and World Heavyweight Champion."

"It's true, you are a legend, Dis. But you don't represent any of that past glory. You only represent the nostalgia of it, and that's nothing to be proud of, or wanting to take up the mantle of. It's simply a play for some attention, and a high risk-low reward proposition, at that."

(He lifts the glass and takes a drink, shaking his head.)

"Here's the thing, Dis... even if, somehow, Lindsay Troy was fool enough to put the mask back on again, it would never amount to the same effect. And maybe you are her, I never thought she was necessarily the sharpest knife... but it'd just be tarnishing something special. And if you aren't Troy? Well, then, you're just a poser."

"The only thing people are looking forward to, is finding out whether they ridicule you for rehashing something you did better years ago... or ridicule you for being a poser who wanted to go for that play. But it isn't because you're some... sensation."

"I guess there's one other idea: you're doing it to embarrass Troy. That would be twisted, devious, and maybe a little cunning. From what I've seen and heard thus far, that definitely doesn't fit your description. Unless you're especially good at faking it."

"All roads lead to the same ring at Aggression 60, though, and the same obstacles. While you're so bent on getting Anarky, I'm simply set on taking care of what I'm supposed to in this match, and that's score a victory for myself and the World Heavyweight Champion. There's no reason for me to look beyond this match. Everything I want is here: two opponents who think they can step up and defeat the EPW World Heavyweight Champion; the Champion himself; and the opportunity to disrupt that neat little triangle."

(He smirks.)

"You may be right, Dis. You may in fact get to slap Anarky right across the face. And Stalker may live up to his name as a Lunatic. Neither of those things qualify you as being anything more than attention whores, and those are a dime a dozen in wrestling. Granted, Dis you have that outfit and mask for a reason, and Stalker pops his dosage of Crazy Plus to great effect. But if you think this is going to be like a game of leapfrog to the title, then you really will make this easier than it should be."

"I don't claim to understand Anarky. Hell, if I did that may actually be a sign of insanity. But I know well enough than to take him at face value. This whole Sad King bullsh*t? It's alright for a bit, but you're going to find out that YOU, in fact, don't have any idea what you've asked into."

"I'm not here to gain Anarky's trust. I don't need his trust, his respect, or his mind-bending bullsh*t. That goes for the two of you, too. But if I have a hand in taking down two potential contenders to the top prize in EPW, it makes an impression. Does that mean I'm going to get a World title shot? Doubt it. I don't know what it could do for me, especially considering I don't buy you two as necessarily the biggest threat to that title. But for the first time in a while... I'm feeling a real sense of freedom. The end is still unwritten, and I'll find it when it comes into view."

"For now, Aggression 60 awaits. And I'm going to make a mission of my own, for that Main Event. I'll make it my personal goal to help lead you, Stalker, and you, Dis.... to a humble end."

(He holds up the glass in toasting fashion, then finishes it off and begins refilling from the bottle.)

FADE OUT.
