An idea that might help things go a little smoother around here

Since it seems that most things around here revolve around Medina's availability, I say we see about a Vice/Co-President or Owner of the NWL. That way, all his duties can be split between him and his partner, cards have a higher chance of coming out on time, ect.

Just an idea that I've seen work in past fed's that I've been in. Discuss.

I have thought about the same thing in the past...but it won't happen Andrew is against it and rightfully so. I asked him if he would want help writing the cards. Him and someone else write them. He said that we work our asses off to RP so the least he can do is repay us with his cards.

But still...maybe something can be worked out...I personally don't mind waiting for the cards.

It SOUNDS like a good idea... and in practice, it COULD work...

But one great problem stands in the way, which is dedication and reliability. I've been in too many federations that have fallen apart due to miscommunication among owners. GWE is a prime example.

It's a proven fact that the more people you get involved in the creation of one project, the higher the risk of one person disappearing at the most inappropriate time will occur. What I mean is, you distribute, say, two matches each to a total of five writers. Three days later, there are six matches finished for a card. Two more days, two more matches. A week goes by... and still, that ONE GUY who you gave two irreplacable matches to.

I really don't like discussing these things while the owner is away, but if a fed manager decides to go by a certain flow, then he should stick to it. I think Andrew's doing a good job with NWL right now, and I've no problem with the time the cards are coming out. I have seen worse... believe me. Before it officially closed, we sometimes waited months for a card in GWE.

yeah the reason i quit FW for a couple of years is cause a fed i joined made a card...the first card...and poof it never came out...

and i was just fed up with FW at the point...

NWL is great compared to past feds i have been in...

and Andrew treats us very well...

so i think we are fine as we stand...but i wouldn't have any problem if Andrew decides to do the suggested split ownership thing or whatever...

so i am happy either way.

It's a good idea. But, I'm happy the way things are here. Andrew does a great job with the cards, and they're always worth reading, so waiting a bit longer for them doesn't really bother me. If Andrew were to suggest someone helped him I'd have no objections either. I guess I'm just one of those people who as long as the cards do come out, I'm more than willing to wait for them.

Unless it's a close friend of the promoter's and a person really keen on e-fedding, the person in such a position almost always cops out in one way or another.
