Tag Team Title Time
The scene opens in a Toronto hotel. The room we are in is empty, with twin beds, a TV, phone, wardrobe etc. Everything you'd expect in a hotel room, plus a large window with a view of Toronto, including the Sky Dome. The door opens and a bellboy enters, holding the door open for Jaz and Daryl Moundfield, each carrying their bags. Both men put their bags down and Daryl sits on one of the beds while Jaz approaches the bell boy, who hands him the key.
Bell Boy: Will that be all?
Jaz: Yeah cheers mate.
Bell Boy: Ok, enjoy your stay...
Jaz: Thanks. See ya.
The Bell Boy stands in the door way looking at Jaz, who stares back.
Bell Boy: Ahem.
Jaz: What? Oh of course! Sorry mate but I've got a lot on my mind recently.
Bell Boy: Quite alright sir.
Jaz: Wake us up at 8, I'll have poached eggs and Daryl with have scrambled at breakfast, and don't skip on the sausages, we have a busy day. Cheers.
Jaz slams the door in the face of the bellboy who looks a bit confused. Jaz enters the room and sits on the bed next to Daryl. Both men look around the room in awe.
Daryl: Wow.
Jaz: Yeah.
Daryl: Of all the places I've ever stayed, this...this is...wow...
Jaz: I know what you mean...Hold on, what I mean is snap the hell out of it!
Jaz clicks his fingers and Daryl shakes his head as if he's been hypnotised.
Jaz: None of this is special! None of it!
Daryl: Oh I don't know, that little fountain in the toilet for finishing up after you wipe your...
Jaz: No Daryl, none of it is special! We're here because we deserve to be right? Get that into your thick skull before Ultra Brawl begins and the only thing in your skull is a steel chair courtesy of the Diabolic Forces, Nero or Big G! Daryl, we're going to be the next EUWC Tag Team Champions, and you're going to have to get used to this sort of living right? Otherwise we're gonna be pretty damn shabby champions!
Daryl: Yeah I suppose you're right Jaz. Still it is nice...
Jaz: Get a grip man! Look out there, just look. The Sky Dome, Toronto, you see it?
Daryl: Sure.
Jaz: Well tomorrow night that's going to be the scene of the greatest moment of your career. Tomorrow is going to be the start of a new Moundfield tradition, the one where every EUWC Moundfield wins the EUWC tag team titles on their pay-per-view debut. I did it at Blood Bath last year, but you are in for a treat. You will have the greatest honour of all Daryl because you are doing it at the greatest event of them all: Ultra Brawl VI. Forget about Holocaust, forget about Stone, and forget about everyone else that’s on the card, this is our night!
Daryl: Consider them forgotten. So is it we're facing then?
Jaz: Dammit Daryl, I didn't mean forget to that extent! First up is The Diabolic Forces. Tag Team of the Year 2001, Former Tag Team Champions, but are they a Force to be reckoned with or just Diabolical?
Daryl: Hmm poetic...
Jaz: Thanks. Mammon and Molloch were the first team to make it to Ultra Brawl and they have the psychological advantage going into this match. But if you rely on psychology, you can easily get complacent. Psychology isn't as important as talent in this game, I mean how many times did Sigmund Freud win a title?
Daryl: Erm...is he that German bloke in EUWC Europe?
Jaz: No Daryl that's Apocalypse...
Daryl: No he's the Dominion guy, big fiery sod...
Jaz: Different Apocalypses. Anyway, it doesn't matter because the pure fact is we're better than the Diabolic Forces on any given day of the week. Sure they have the backing of Synn, be it Sevyn or Dwight Jackson who may decide to help them I don't care. But powerful friends and ridiculous names aside...I mean come on Mammon and Molloch? I think I saw a fish restaurant with a special offer on Mammon, Mollochs and Chips. Anyway, it doesn't really matter Daryl because as I was saying before Ultra Brawl VI will be our night. Mammon and Molloch may be our first obstacle, but by no mean are we going to let them get in our way, understand?
Daryl: Loud and clear bro.
Jaz: Good. Unfortunately that's not all...
