It somehow never fails... on the eve of my first vacation of the year, the spammers get in!
Couple of quick notes:
1) I deleted a slew of accounts that somehow snuck in through a security hole. I've added a new layer of CAPTCHA protection for registration that hopefully will solve it for the time being.
2) I'm going on vacation tomorrow. I know many of you will say, "Hey, you've been on vacation from around here anyway." My response, "You're right -- just be glad I still pay the bills when I'm off playing super salesman to the largest companies in the world."
I'll be checking in as I can over the weekend, but won't be able to do too much until next week. If the world falls apart, there are a few of you who know how to get in touch with me offline.
3) On what I'm sure will come to be known as either the "Great Terence Debacle of 2008" or "Billy Ferraro Goes For Strike Four," let me just say that I'm in complete agreement with Pete's post on the matter. It was clearly a joke. It was clearly not a joke that people at a certain taste level would enjoy. The individual sexist PMs were a bit much. That said... there are tools on this forum to ignore and block users who you may find individually bothersome. I'm not sure that it required the level of discussion that apparently transpired, but hey, whatever.
To my dear friend Billy F: Welcome back. You should know my general tolerance level by now. Please don't make me remind you. Have fun and don't screw with other people.
