Peeps, please give the feedback. I yelled at people last show, I will do it again!

You can either do segment by segment. You can also do the below, which Justin ripped off from LoC (and now, so I have). This way you don't have to feel the pressure of saying something when you have nothing to say.

What did we do right?

What did we do wrong?

Top Face of the Night?

Top Heel of the Night?

On the Bubble / Who is about to break out?

Favorite Quotes?

Mark-Out Moments?

How was the overall reading experience?

DARK MATCH: Henry Keyes vs. Suicidal Youth: "Now Keebs, I’ve had an itch over the last several weeks. You know why? Because HENRY KEYES HASN’T BELL CLAPPED A FUCKER IN FOREVER!” - That line right there probably sums up the greatness that is Henry Keyes. Loved having the chance to help build up that Bell Clap with Ben during our mini-feud last arc.

I have B.A.D. too.

The old school PIP promo from STT as well. “Holy Sheep Shit on a Shingle” might end up being line of the night. Great pre-show match. Really, really enjoyed it and even got a spot idea from it. Keyes/STT is brewing and I can’t fucking wait.

A Modest Redesign: Good start to the build towards the main event. Tyrone Walker being Kelly’s personal dick for the evening is interesting. Either this is going to turn into something or else James is just letting his fantasies play out in front of all of us. O HAI JAMES! Didn’t see you standing over there… with a baseball bat.

Rundown: Let’s get the show started. You would think Angus would be proud of Ty getting some ass DURING the show. Alas, not to be.

On The First Day: Wrote this.

Malachi vs. Jake Donovan: Wrote this with BLUE!

Wanna Sign My Cast?: Curtis Penn making his presence felt even with a cast on his arm! Love how he is milking it for all its worth. Feels so rare you see an injury angle actually played out before your very eyes. Normally, person disappears. Not happening here and it is quite cool. Donovan/Penn/Matthews at the PPV? I hope so.

Not My Idea: Jonny BOOYA in DA HOUSE! Not much to say here other than Booya laying out LBC on the road to Dewey would be rather impressive.

Davis vs. Mushigihara: The underrated angle of the moment is the pure terror that Mushigihara is inflicting upon all of DEFIANCE. It’s crazy. He’s going to keep destroying people until he gets what he wants and that’s the gold. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when he finally gets to that place.

Take Your Bae to Work Day: When Ken and I were starting to plot our story for this arc, this is one of the segs that REALLY intrigued me. And man, this did not disappoint at all. The interaction with Lexi/Troy was as expected, but still perfect. Lexi/Ty was GOLD. Gotta feel for Frank in this moment. He just wants a ride-or-die chick and Lexi is giving him non-stop shade.

Old Friends, New Enemies: Great, great, great seg. Love seeing the chemistry between Ryan + Team HOSS. Loved seeing Dusty come in and make sure Ryan was at his best for the upcoming match, which harkens back to DEF44.

Booya vs. Rinaldi: Really solid match through and through. Loving how Dewey/Booya/Dentari is kind of building into this feud naturally from the fallout of the White catastrophe. The ending really set things up well. Should be interesting to see where things go next. And I love the feedback line in the end.

He’s Gonna Kick Yo’ Ass: HIT is coming! HIDE YO KIDS, HIDE YO WIFE! Loved the way this was build and thought it was a sick idea when Sean mentioned it in the chat.

I’ve Got 99 Problems and, Oddly Enough, a Bitch is One: Lindz, Ken, and Craig got in a room and hashed this shit out and it was crazy and fun!

Trios Match: Then we went in and did a match! What?!?! Such a fun match to put together. Hope everyone enjoys it.

1. Lots of history there between those two, it's another of those on again, off again type deals. So, it could go somewhere, it could ultimately go nowhere, there's always been "talks" about certain directions between myself, Stevie and Justin.

2. Angus is like an antagonistic brother of Kelly Evans, at best. So, on one hand, sure, he'd be all hyped for his boy getting some during the show, but it's with Kelly... Double edge sword and all that.

Also some pre-feedback: All the MVP's go to Craig this week.

Just freestyling the feedback a little bit.

Segment of the Night:
Take your Bae to work day! Awesomeness of a segment! One lil suggestion would have been working a heel into meeting Lexi.

Match of the Night:
I’m a tad bit confused on this one because I honestly have to give it to the Dark Match with holding my short attention span and then the Main Event that I had to sit down and read a couple of times over because of the length. Like I said I have a short attention span after work and so I leave you all with this! HOLY SHEEP SHIT ON A SHINGLE!

Face of the Night
: Lindsey Troy going toe to toe with Team HOSS after finding partners to team with. Even though it was a loss to Team HOSS I like Troy going against the odds.

Heel of the Night:
I’m really Digging STT and all it took for me was the lil’ actions after the Dark Match. What can I say KISS… Keep it Simple Stupid works for me.

OOC of the Night:
Craig, because James said so.

What did we do right?
- Formatting was really clean, everything flowed well from segment to segment.
- Every angle had a little something throughout the card no one thing was clumped into like one spot on the card.
- The varied openings. Opening with a match, then a seg, then the "opening"... WWE could take lessons on how to start a wrestling show reading this and the last couple shows man.
- I like that the "main event scene" is more than just a few characters, so many people have stepped up and are delivering top top quality material it's almost hard to narrow it down. Good problem to have.

What did we do wrong?
I'd encourage some of the new names to do some character work on the news and propaganda boards, sometimes with so many new names it can get a little muddled in the midcard. Help the "viewer" get to know your character better via some RP's or news bits.

Top Face of the Night?
The story of LT putting together a new team to challenge HOSS was really well told. That single angle was almost the backbone of the show. I've said all along, LT is a much better character without the meat shields. She works on more babyface levels when she's on her lonesome.

Top Heel of the Night?
Team HOSS and Booya were both killer this card. But I still love the development of Eddie Dante and The God Beast. Great manager character in Dante and an absolutely awesome monster heel in Mushigihara. Keep up the good work, lovin' it.

On the Bubble / Who is about to break out?
Holiday, Troy and Mushigihara all three are great characters with just limitless storyline potential.

How was the overall reading experience?
This was a really really top notch card that shows how varied and deep even our smaller roster can be. Great main event.

DARK MATCH: HENRY KEYES vs SUICIDAL YOUTH
There was an excellent use of an inset promo by STT2 here, but for me, the thing that made me legitimately mark out was Henry Keyes upgrading his Bell Clap to a FINISHER-GRADE KNOCK OUT MOVE that led to the pinfall! How awesome is that?

A MODEST REDESIGN
I have to admit I didn't exactly suss out what the deal was between Kelly Evans and Ty Walker, but I get there's a lot of history there. Otherwise, a very appropriately in-character redecorating job by Kels to turn the skybox into her own personal palace of hedonism. We also establish Lindsay Troy's mission to find replacement partners that forms a throughline for the rest of the show. Great stuff all around.

WELCOME TO THE SHOW - THE RUNDOWN
The announce team spent the lion's share of this segment hyping up the main event, appropriately enough. It felt like a match-light card going strictly by the rundown, but I kind of like a more streamlined approach to DEFtv.

ON THE FIRST DAY...
I've got such a soft spot for religious zealot heels, and Craig's doing a fine job with Malachi so far. Keep it up!

MALACHI vs JAKE DONOVAN
Nice little match here, and I appreciated the continuity of having Masato Ishimaru interfere against Malachi in revenge for their match on DEFtv 45. Yes, it CAN be this simple.

WANNA SIGN MY CAST?
Troy Matthews, in many ways, perfectly encapsulated the rut his character has been in when he complained to Jake Donovan that Jake has been having great matches while Troy just sat around. Motivation is so key to a character; it drives him and gives him direction. I'm confident that Troy (and Rob!) is finding his way going forward from here. And then Curtis Penn drifts in like a cloud of flatulence and totally sours the mood. As he does. Can't wait to see this develop further.

NOT MY IDEA
Continuity done right. Edward White may be gone but the players he set in motion are still on their respective trajectories, and Jonny Booya vs the LBC feels like a natural conflict that you'd expect to occur. Well done.

MUSHIGIHARA vs TONY DAVIS
I don't know why, but I feel like the fact Mushigihara uses a song from a Wii video game as his entrance theme diminishes his fearsome aura a bit. Maybe it's just me. Other than that, Mushi continues to be a monstrous presence, as he should be as he campaigns for respect and title opportunities.

TAKE YOUR BAE TO WORK DAY
Biiiiiig thanks and props to Lindz and James for working on this seg with me. You guys made it pop in just the way I hoped it would.

OLD FRIENDS, NEW ENEMIES
Here's another natural conflict spinning out of the demise of the Ed White coup: Team HOSS understandably angry with Dan Ryan for his role in bringing White down. I have to say that the attention to continuity and the logical progression of things have been impressive to see. Dusty Griffith intervening and calling back to Ryan's patronizing attitude from the other show, nicely done. Now bring on the World Title match!

JONNY BOOYA vs VINNY RINALDI
I love Booya's entrance, and thank goodness, we got ourselves a nice, straightforward, big-man brawly type match that didn't feel obligated to convince us of how smart anybody was. Really good action, and Booya gets the win in a believable reversal spot.

The post-match moment between Booya and Eugene Dewey was a good reminder about THAT ongoing conflict, and a nice distraction before the LBC punked Booya out again. Couldn't happen to a douchier guy. Three-way for the FIST coming up? Sure!

HE'S GONNA KICK YO' ASS
Anybody named The Hardcore Isosceles Trapezoid is insta-WIN. Bring it on!

I'VE GOT 99 PROBLEMS AND, ODDLY ENOUGH, A BITCH IS ONE
I wrote this with Craig and Lindz, and had a blast! I love working with these fine people. BTW, in case you hear any rumors about an unreleased version of this seg where Craig and I lose our shit on each other for real and had to be convinced to kiss and make up by Lindz, I deny everything.

WORLD TRIOS TITLES: TEAM HOSS vs LINDSAY TROY, FRANK HOLIDAY, AND DAVID NOBLE
Craig is seriously an MVP in DEFIANCE these days. His output is rock solid and he writes a damn good match each time out. Despite LT and her makeshift team's best efforts, those HOSS bastards keep squeaking it out!

I feel as if this is going to be my new MO. "That Craig guy, every time he does a seg, there is some unreleased version that is full of bitchiness and people yelling at each other!"

DARK MATCH: HENRY KEYES v. SUICIDAL YOUTH
BELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLCLAAAAAAPOMANIA~! Angus marking like a boss, as well he should… And Henry v. Turner is gonna be a nice ol’ hossfest for the paperview, looking forward to it.

A MODEST REDESIGN
All the credits to Lindz on this one, I was pretty much useless, hah.

THE RUNDOWN
I wrote this.

ON THE FIRST DAY…
This would be better if Aaron hadn’t already bailed on this character. The writing is good, but it’s like, who cares? The character it’s being aimed at is already a glorified NPC, oh well. Good job, Craig, at least you’re trying to do something with it.

MALACHI v. JAKE DONOVAN
Nice little match here with Malachi being the overbearing monster, Jake the plucky babyface, and rival shenanigans allowing the new heel to drop a fall to a babyface in need of a win.

WANNA SIGN MY CAST?
Not enough Curtis Penn “CurtisPenning” in this one for my liking! MOAR CURTISPENNING GORRAMIT 8)

NOT MY IDEA
I know Lee isn’t here for the foreseeable future, but I hope Jonny Booya continues on, I don’t care who’s handling the character (even if it’s a group effort). The same goes with the LBC, I know Dames wants to pull back and center his focus on Euge entirely, but Ace and the Gorillas need to still be “around”.

MUSHIGIHARA v. TONY DAVIS
That was shorter than expected… Makes Mushi look like a gorram boss though, so it’s all good in the hood.

TAKE YOUR BAE TO WORK DAY
This was not a good day to be a bitchy girlfriend around your man’s homies for Frank Holiday’s “bae”. I mean, between LT giving her the straight up bitchmode and Ty doing what he does. Damn, just, damn.

OLD FRIENDS, NEW ENEMIES
Seth and Brunk wrote most of this, I did bits here and there.

JONNY BOOYA v. BIG VINNY
HOSSFIGHT! Nothing technical about this and that’s what made it fun, just two big meatheads slugging it out for a spell… And DAT POWERBOMB?! Somebody better have checked the ring for a big Vinny sized dent during the segments that followed!

HE’S GONNA KICK YO ASS!
The HIT is a bad man… Things are about to get all ECW uppin’ hurr… Also, getting thoughts of this guy and Ty kickin’ it old school with the ultra violence.

I’VE GOT 99 PROBLEMS AND, ODDLY ENOUGH, A BITCH IS ONE
That bit where Frank is telling David not to rely on MLM makes so much more sense now than when I first read it weeks ago… OMG WITH ALL THE FEELS AT THE END!... I wish I were more smart and actually mentioned something adding a line about Walker being “a choice” but because of “reasons” (heh)... Oh well, good stuff though.

WORLD TRIOS TITLES: TEAM HOSS v. TROY, HOLIDAY, NOBLE
I know she’s repping the Heroes, thus their theme, but BOO to no Zepplin for LT’s intro… Very good tag team theory and pacing throughout… Using Noble as the Ricky Morton works well and takes another step in the direction of proving himself to everyone… Really dug the false hot tag to Troy, and then real one with Holiday, absolutely classic use of the tactic… The finish is kinda out of nowhere, but good, I know it’s not nearly over with LT and HOSS, so I look forward to how that’s going to continue from here (whistles)... TL;DR = Another top notch effort from Craig in the match writing department.

DARK MATCH: Henry Keyes vs. Suicidal Youth
The PiP thing is a great idea. It’s a real throw back thing, but Sams words spoiled the fact that he was going to come out rather than hint that something might have happened. And considering fact that Sam’s said “see you in a few minutes” why was Angus so surprised?

BTW, I’m reading Sam’s entrance as Sam enters, Angus is surprised, Sam goes backstage again and then drags out Don Hollywood. If Sam is dragging Don out to start with then to me that doesn’t come across well enough, but it would explain Angus’ surprise.

A Modest Redesign
I like this Lindsay Troy. It’s about time she got serious, and this is no laughing matter. I think the LT character can have a chance to come out more now without Elliott and Rayne, and that’s something I’m looking forward to.

Welcome to the Show - The Rundown
This must have been tricky to do with so few matches pre announced, but by the looks of it this show is pretty much all about one thing, and that’s LT’s quest for the titles. I’ll be honest though, with this much effort being put into it it genuinely looks like she might have a chance to be a part of the first pinfall/submission loss for Team HOSS.

On The First Day…
Something tells me Malachi and Mushi would make good feud partners, if only for the line about the wrath of a god. If Aaron has indeed bailed on Ishimaru then by all means fuck him up and move on to something more worthwhile.

Malachi vs. Jake Donovan
Yeah, Jake needed this win. It’d been a long time since he got anything in the W column, and it doesn’t hurt Malachi to take a fall to an established name off of a distraction.

Wanna Sign my Cast?
Seriously? No plug for the DVD? I’m so in agreement with James here. Penn wasn’t Penn in this segment. And if Jon is saying that he didn’t write him then I can understand why, but I’d love for this to have at least had a little bit of his input, even if it was just “Need to be more of a dick”.

Not My Idea
I wrote this. Hopefully nobody can tell that I’m ‘handling’ Jonny Booya for this arc.

Mushigihara vs. Tony Davis
Holy hell Mushi is really getting built up right now, and I’m actually enjoying it. DEFIANCE hasn’t had an unstoppable monster in a long time, and Mushi fits into that role very nicely.

Take Your Bae to Work Day
Something tells me Lexi isn’t going to be around with Frank for too long (and if she is then there’s something seriously wrong with Frank, because he shouldn’t be putting up with that level of bitchiness), but I hope to god that with all the effort put into introducing her to us that she stays around for a while.

Old Friends, New Enemies
I love it. Everything feels like it’s by design right now and not rebooked back from oblivion. Edward White’s exit might have left a couple of things up in the air, but it’s made a pretty intriguing storyline right here.

Jonny Booya vs. Vinny Rinaldi
More of mine.

He's Gonna Kick Yo' Ass
OK, The HIT as a name? No idea what to make of that. And the only name I recognise from the promo was Karina Wolfenden. The caracter strikes me as a Sabu meets Abdullah The Butcher though, please correct me if I’m wrong.

I’ve Got 99 Problems and, Oddly Enough, a Bitch is One
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING! At least I think I do. If it is going that way then all of the soap opera drama stuff over the last few weeks feels better placed. I’m still not going to call myself a fan of it, but I can see why it’s been there.

WORLD TRIOS TITLES: Team HOSS vs. Lindsay Troy, Frank Holiday, and David Noble
Hands down, match of the night no doubt about it. I can’t stroke Craig’s balls any more than everyone else has already done though.

Just because I was asked so politely.

Every time I write Curtis Penn I automatically recall the most annoying asshole that I knew in high school. This person wouldn't be like "Sign my cast." He would go to a group of people and hand them a pen to sign his cast and then right before it got to one person, specifically me, he would take the marker away. He'd either make a snide comment or just no sell me completely. Which is what I would have done this time if I wrote Penn. Now Rob did a good job with what I told him to do, which was just be an ass towards the both of them.

Now the DVD pitch is something that I like to do and I wouldn't want to wish that on someone because I don't know how many times I rewrote the last one before I liked it, even though James and Justin did the first ever sales pitch I have a very certain way I want them done.

Don't be worried, I'm feeling better do DEF 47 should be all Curtis Penn.

I know there's a high level of knife crime in the UK, but trust me, I'm not going to get too stab happy.

This could also be going in a direction that I'm totally not expecting which would still validate the dramallama segs between Noble and Mary-Lynn, but judging by a few of the lines I expect Lexi to play quite a large part in this storyline.

What did we do right? ME! MEEEEEEEEE! ALWAYS AND FOREVER ME! No, honestly - I've had issues with it for a while, it's amazing how a show with this number of matches becomes eminently more readable.

What did we do wrong?
EDIT: Not falling in line with the imaginary schedule in my own head and INSTEAD posting earlier than the DEF show's timeline.

Top Face of the Night?
Lindsay Motherfucking Troy. Up against an impossible obstacle, yet she was part of the match of the night.

Top Heel of the Night? I'm giving an honorarium to Mushigihara for his cray run.

On the Bubble / Who is about to break out? ME MOTHER FUCKER. But actually STT2. Mushigihara is there too.

Favorite Quotes?
Angus:
Welp, maybe if her dumbass husband and dumbass friend listened to Jamie Lee Curtis and made good choices then she wouldn’t have to deal with these two new dumbasses in the ring right now.

Mark-Out Moments?
ME, MYYYYY MOMENTS. SUCK MAH DIIIIIICK. Actually, so many of the TRIOS title match moments made me mark.

How was the overall reading experience?
GOOD, TO VERY GOOD.

Also, once and for all: Holy Sheep Shit on a Shingle? That was all Chris. Bask in his eminence.
