Would there be any interest from members of this community in a straight forum based FW angle fed?

I would be looking to do a from the ground up low level local promotion doing bi-weekly shows out of the same revamped bingo hall turned into a wrestling gym with a capacity of 300 people.

If you have a new character you'd like to try out, it'd be the perfect place to help develop them and showcase their actual rise from the low level promotion, and helping to build the company.

If there is enough interest I'll ask Chad to set me up with forums on here, and we can go from there. Feel free to leave any feedback here if you would be interested, or shoot me a PM. I wouldn't need any more than four-eight regular people to get it off the ground.

Thanks everyone. :)

I think that some people here don't know a lot about angle feds...myself included.

I could be wrong, but I think the first thing that springs to mind is writing a lot of dramatic stuff that has nothing to do with wrestling. Which I guess is fine fo those that dig it, but its not my style.

So if you would be willing to give a tutorial and teach the method that I can incorporate into what I do...then I might be for it.

It also depends on the time involved to make it happen. I'm probably in too many feds already, but I would be willing to give it a shot and see how things go.

I would be more than willing to help people adapt to being in an angle fed. It's not nearly as hard as it seems, or is made out to be.

We don't have to keep the style of writing to the norm of what you've seen with other angle feds either. I'm more than willing to let this be done like any other fed's writing on the FW forums. Present tense script style is not a problem, if that's how the majority of the handlers would feel most comfortable writing.

One show every two weeks, and the writing involved from you would totally be your choice to make. The concept idea behind the fed would be that it is so small that it doesn't have a television deal yet, so what I would like to explore for the matches would be that they are written from the perspective of a fan, much like a review of a real wrestling show is done.

I was also thinking a different kind of avenue for segments would be to have a section devoted to them being done like YouTube videos. They wouldn't ever be featured on the shows, obviously, but you'd be able to do them whenever you like, much like RPing.

There could be segments during shows, but they would need to fit the same format as the matches and would need to be recap style from a fan's perspective. I'm honestly thinking here that a normal show wouldn't be more than 5-8 pages total, which would be easy for anyone to write alone, but as a group wouldn't take much time for turnover at all.

Bigger shows could be done in longer format, and considered DVD taping. I just really want to start the place off small and slowly work it into something bigger. Go from local to small to regional to cult to national to international and finally global, so it'd definitely be a long drawn out process.

Since I was wanting to do this strictly on these boards, I would have a sub-forum set up on boards that could be used like an RP section.

The shows aren't going to be huge, given the production value the company would have, so you're looking at ROH or Chikara size shows. This would give the handlers another avenue to run with extra pieces that could continue their storylines, set up storylines, or even set up matches leading into the coming shows.

It would really be up to the handlers if they would want to utilize this feature, but I think it would be something different for an angle fed and could also help out with the transition from RP to angle because you'd still have a little bit of essence from the RP side with this feature.

Basically what would go on the shows themselves would be prerecorded stuff that no one in the arena would really see, ala ROH does, or in-ring.
