The idea has been suggested before on these boards, but now we're going at it full force. Never before has FW Central seen a 100% pure LUCHA LIBRE fed, and I for one think it's high time that changed with Federacíon Mexicana de Lucha Libre! What I'd like to do is open by the end of the year (or late summer if I get a good response.). We'd be looking for luchadores, luchadoras, and minis to comprise the roster (and I mean good ones, none of this El Gran Luchador crap like WWE does ), so if you're interested... lemme know. My goal, aside from having fun and producing some great stuff, is to stick as close as humanly possible to the aspects of traditional lucha libre, i.e. tríos, luchas de apuestas, etc. Matches will be written primarily in english (for all us gringos), but alot of the moves and other important terms and phrases will be en español to preserve the purity of lucha libre. In the future, we may do english and spanish versions of the shows, but in the meantime... let's just see what the interest level is. In response to early e-mails...

First of all, we will accept SOME characters who are not luchadores and yes, there are characters currently on FW Central that would fit right in, however it is mostly luchadores that I'm looking for. As for how the fed will work, it will be RP-based, with emphasis on in-ring storytelling above backstage segments (though segments of the like are still acceptable, there will just be less of them than you'll see in most feds).



Also, the vast majority of the matches will go as follows:

Teams consist of THREE wrestlers each (One CAPTAIN, two others) and are best 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS.

Once a wrestler is PINNED, SUBMITS, or is otherwise DISQUALIFIED, he is ELIMINATED for the remainder of the fall.

A fall is decided when EITHER the TEAM CAPTAIN or BOTH TEAMMATES have been eliminated via PINFALL, SUBMISSION, or DISQUALIFICATION.

Tags are NOT NECESSARY. If the legal man is somehow ejected or removed from the ring, one of his TEAMMATES can AUTOMATICALLY enter in his place.

LOW BLOWS, COUNT-OUTS, use of PILEDRIVERS (moves where all of the victim's body weight is placed on his NECK, i.e. Tombstone Piledriver, Ganso Bomb), more than ONE PERSON kicking a GROUNDED OPPONENT, EXCESSIVE PUNISHMENT, and/or PULLING A MASK off of somebody’s head result in DISQUALIFICATION. (However TEARING A MASK OPEN or DOUBLE/TRIPLE TEAMING an opponent is legal. This also applies to PINFALLS and SUBMISSION.)


Some matches will be one on one or other match types, but the majority will be as described above.
