Awww...

Well...now that I am at Riley, USA, I can say a few things about my stay in the sandbox:

1. No disrespect, but the Marines have no idea what real coffee is...(and I mean that in a nice way since I've been to Fallujah more times than I can count).

2. Nobody...and I MEAN NOBODY has seen more of Iraq than me (I've gone up and down that blasted country so many times...)

3. Iraq DOES have seasons- it just depends on where you are located.

4. The best adrilenine rush I have ever had was when I was attacked with my boys near the capital.

5. The biggest realization that I truly was in a life-or-death land was after the fight...and after we rolled a truck.

6. You can't survive Iraq without someone that is either insanely funny or just plain insane.

7. I LIVED in Taji (Camp Cooke), where the DEW FLOWED FREELEY and the men played football when we weren't running all over the Mesopotamian landscape.
