Challenge Stadium, Perth, Australia

Opening

Legends….

Have to begin somewhere…

Several thousand had packed into the Challenge Stadium to see the stars of ACW and some local talent attempt to reach their lofty goals. Missing are the stage hands, the dozens of cameras, and the fancy pyro displays. These events are all about the wrestling and who has what it takes to…
Make It..

These are why we have House Shows…

That is why the fans show up…

The Locksmiths vs. Double Jackson (Mark & Tyler Jackson)

The Australian locals the brother Mark and Tyler Jackson were 22 and 25 years of age respectively, coming into the business together three years ago and have been tagging on the Australian independent scene since then, even picking up a few title victories.

That did not help them much against the Locksmiths, whose technique was far more advanced than their younger opponents. Teddy Locke and Alastair Smith controlled a majority of the match with only a few flurries from Double Jackson.

Winners: The Locksmiths (Teddy Locke with the Cross-Legged STF on Tyler Jackson) [8:05]

Omega vs. “Aussie Fast” Kyle Jordan

The 6’1’’ 184 pound Kyle Jordan looked as if he was asking himself, “Why did I take this match!?! They’re only paying me three hundred dollars!” when the 6’9’’ 335 pound Omega stepped into the ring. Jordan had made a name for himself in Australia and New Zealand for his high flying ability over the past five years…
But he wasn’t prepared for a beast…

After quickly attempting to jump Omega, Jordan went off the ropes was dropped with a vicious Spinebuster. Was pulled up and was on the wrong end of well…

The End

And so was the match.

Winner: Omega (The End) [:35]

Jackson Wreck v. Alex Pure

Jackson Wreck was just signed to a full time ACW contract after the purchase of SOW, which begins its relaunch in December. Alex Pure was ready to show who was the better prospect from California, the match was highly competitive with the two sides changing advantages.

Pure was the first to be able to wear down Wreck with submission holds and have him on his heels. It wasn’t until Wreck hit a Flying Clothesline which set up his Wrecking Ball top rope clothesline. Wreck hooked Pure’s far leg and got the victory. Pure was livid after the match and shouted towards Wreck…

Rematch soon?

I believe so!

Winner: Jackson Wreck (Wrecking Ball) [10:02]

Main Event

Big E. Smalls v. Kenny Nguyen & Jake Taylor

The former rivals of Nguyen and Taylor put up a better outing than they did on WWW, albeit they weren’t attacked before the bell either. The youngsters at points had Big W. Smalls reeling, but they did not have enough in the tank to put them away.

Nguyen was disposed of by a Mach 2 Centrifugal Force, after Taylor was dropped with The Big Guns and was pinned by Big E. Stark.

Winners: Big E. Smalls (The Big Guns) [6:09]

Expect…

This time, “The Tank” Hank Wright provided the fans with a special meet and greet autograph session before the show.

Nice of him!

Bull v. Andy Newman (SOW) [Newman Tryout Match]

Bull was accompanied by his Beast of Prey brethren as Andy Newman, a former SOW Warrior Champion looked confident, wanting to take full opportunity of his tryout match.

The bigger Bull did not dominate as one may imagine as Newman showed heart and skill to work at his much bigger opponent. It would not be until a surprise forearm into Newman’s back from Serpentine (outside the view of the local referee) that Bull was able to Spear Newman and pick up the victory.

Of course the Beasts were not finished, Wolf whipped out his Claw..and was ordered by Isurus to lock his Mandible Claw on Newman as he stood. Wolf held it on until some of the security from the back came out. BoP stood at them menacingly, but decided to leave after making their point.

Winner: Bull (Gore) [7:19]

"The Unit" Jack Harris v. "Perth Thunder" Jared White

The 5’9’’ 176 pound Jared White had no idea what he signed up for, as Jack Harris entered the ring White still was talking his usual smack even getting into Harris’ face. That ended up in him being knocked down with a vicious Clothesline, and it was downhill for the Perth native from there.

Harris toyed with White for a few minutes as he was barely able to even get a Toe Kick for offense in, eventually after hitting his Whirlwind Backbreaker Harris put White down with the Execution for the victory.

Winner: Jack Harris (Execution) [5:43]

David Race & Alex Pure v. Carrachio Salfuego & Fight Man

This was a very good match despite neither team regularly teaming up together. Race and Pure were constantly having fun attempting to out due each other at Fight Man’s expense, but he showed heart and courage and would fight back.

Salfuego showed a great amount of skill as well in his exchanges with Race and Pure, it would be after Race a Guillotine Leg Drop that allowed Fight Man to take out Pure and Salfuego to hit his feared El Espiritu De Madrid for the victory.

Winners: Salfuego & Fight Man (Salfuego pinned Race after the El Espiritu De Madrid) [12:16]
Main Event

Khristain Keller v. "Australian Legend" Derrick Tasmania

The “Australian Legend” Derrick Tasmania has wrestled in all the major promotions of Australia and New Zealand over the past fifteen years and even wrestling some in Samoa as well. Never having an exclusive contract allowed him to travel around quite a bit, the now 38, 6’2’’ 232 pound veteran had lost some fifteen pounds off of his best frame (That’s what happens when you lay off the roids). But, he still had the knowledge and is probably still the best brawler in Australia.

Khristain Keller was one pissed off individual after the previous Courage after being screwed out of the Spirit of ACW Championship. He attacked Tasmania who had the crowd FIMRLY behind him quickly taking the fight to the outside.

Tasmania was able to counter and show off his top level brawling skills and throw Keller around on the outside a bit. The match would continue at a physical pace until Keller was able to secure the advantage, eventually hitting Tasmania with the PainKilla for the victory. Keller spit on Tasmania after to greater heat from the crowd for their local hero.

Winner: Keller (PainKILLA) [11:28]
