[small]Sitting on the hood of his car, directly in front of the fading glow of the afternoon's sun... CSWA superstar Sean 'Triple X' Stevens wasn't his usual 'angry at the world' self. In a matter of months he had grown in more ways than one, and in growing, he realized it wasn't a 'system', or a reaction from a fan that kept him going or held him back... it was a state of mind. He had the ability to win those big matchups in those clutch situations... and, as much as he'd like to blame others... it was he, who lost them. But, that was then... ever since Elvis Lives XII, where he faced, perhaps, the biggest career setback of his life... he took his life, his career, his destiny, in his own hands.

Triple X turned to face the camera, which was faced directly in front of the bumper of the vehicle in which he was sitting. Grinning, slightly... his lips parted to speak.[/small]

"Another CSWA event passed, another opportunity blown. 'Superman' Stevens... I want you to do yourself a HUGE favor, once you're in the confines of your own apartment. Get on your hands and knees, thanking and praising the good Lord in Heaven, that there is a such thing as countouts, that you get the opportunity to live another day... and, oh, yeah... don't show your face around the CSWA lockerroom scene for a while."

"Because one match in which I dominated, yet failed to win, or lose, doesn't prevent me from remembering. This thing between you and I... it's not over... not by a long shot."

[small]The camera zoomed completely in, focusing on his - six pounds heavier - body, and the sleeveless 'Why? Because *I* Can' t-shirt covering it... his black leather pants... boots... the famous blue eyes... and, oh yeah... the brand new buzz cut.[/small]

"But, looking back... you're right. Why should I dwell on you? Something you did?"

[small]Gesturing toward his head.[/small]

"Obviously, worse things have happened... and, you know what I've realized? In this crazy business, things even worse than that are gonna happen. I gotta roll with the punches, and try my damndest to see to it that it doesn't, but if it does... I've gotta move on."

"Already, I've given you more CSWA publicity by my mere mentioning of your name, and the unjust deed you and your girlfriend committed. Unless you cross my path... I'm through with you. I'm cutting the cord... moving on..."

"...to TITLES. And, there's one title in particular that I can't help but feel belongs to me. A certain title carried by a certain Wicked Sight, that not only have I already beaten, but am just plain better than. Sight, congratulations on winning the Presidential tournament at Elvis. If I liked you, I'd think about shedding a tear of joy."

"But, I don't... and, I still feel that I'm light years ahead of you in the talent, and skill department. So I guess you could say I'm a little jealous. And, am in a 'being greedy' mood. I've been in the CSWA for little over a year, and am still looked at as a rookie."

"Truth of the matter, I'm better than some of the guys competing for the CSWA World Title, but in a promotion like this, they'll never let that fact get out to the public... So I won't challenge Steve Radder... I won't go out there and beat Havoc for his United States title belt... I was born at night... not LAST night. And, have realized that until I'm a thirty- five year old corporate Chad Merrit kiss- a##, I won't beat any of them."

"But, you... you Sight... even with your belt are seen as on my level and in my league. You Sight... are the guy who spent the better part of his CSWA career a laughing stock, and a beaten man. I *can* beat you... I'd be a better champion than you... and, I 'triple X' Sean Stevens... challenge you."

"What do you say champ?"

[small]Hopping off his hood, Triple X entered his car, turned the engine on and rode off into the sunset.[/small]
