Twenty-One Thousand plus piled into the Kingdom Coliseum for IGS 2 -- transcript now available online here -- which saw the veteran L L B challenge IGS World Champion Malik Roland in the night's main event. The event also featured major IGS announcements from General Manager John Ackerman along with appearances by many of the worlds favorite -- and sometime least favorite -- superstars such as David Noble, Luscious,Kayden Paulton, Dean McDaniel, Max Hopper, Buddy Showtime, The Wild Kards, and The Golden Boys -- Grandsons of the legendary Golden Glen Miller.

Fans also saw the quickly rising young grappler, Chris Richards, face off with the Colorado Native Phaser; The Norwegian strong man Kellen Wolff taking on The Night -- who represents Buddy Showtime's Conservatory of Violent Arts; Brock Metzer and Larry Agenda met in a fantastic rematch from IGS 1;And The Lynch Consortium -- current IGS Tag Team Champions -- made appearances throughout the evening!

IGS 2 was also brimming with brand new IGS superstars making their debuts; including Arzael and the self proclaimed Queen [CENSORED] In Charge, Devilina, made impacts throughout the night.

IMO, only the forums are "dead". Sure, the hobby is nothing like it was back in the day but real wrestling isn't, either. By no means is this my idea or a new idea (I forgot who said it) but the height of e-wrestling came with the rise of the internet and the attitude era all joining together at the same time and I agree with that theory. And while the hobby is nothing like it used to be, there's still a handful of good places, with good writers and good teams communicating usually through other means (facebook, skype chat, etc) than on the forums.

Anyway this was an unnecessary rant and not meant to be directed at you Cusi, lol. Just a general comment. True, the hobby is nothing like it used to be but there are still some current efeds, many good writers and so on. There are negative aspects too right now, such as activity on forums but I figure the majority of us are trying to be part of the solution and do something about it, as evidence on this thread, by being critical of storylines/posers/etc as any debate or comments are good to have. Even the PIW returns for 1 night only was cool lol.

It's probably just me, but I'd rather see 2-4 places going strong than back in the day when there would be 50+? different places with many of them lasting only 1-2 months. The lack of extreme popularity weeds out those who didn't really care or truly commit to this, anyway.

Personally I think IGS looks great.. who cares where he gets the posers from..

I understand where you are coming from.. communication as evolved since the AIM days.. just hard to see a hobby you loved look so quite from the outside.

But it's what's inside that counts.

There is a thriving efedding community on Reddit. Funny enough, it basically looks identical in format to the old Prodigy BBs. Very basic, mostly RP based, and filled with angry teenagers. Yes, the top league has already banned me, then let me back in. I may be moving my fed to Reddit soon and keeping the Death Collective subforums on FWC as informational.

we need to get some of the reddit people here!

Or go to them, too.

To expand the game and keep it growing, all outlets should be used. Someone invited me to join the Facebook e-wrestling page. It's filled with crazy shit, lots of WWE-knock off stuff, poor writing and groups that don't last more than 1 show but I spent a day looking around just for fun and there's still enough creativity and good writing, too.

I think the key issue is finding one "zone" for all of this. It was actually a similar problem back in the day. EWZine. Wrestle Cell. FWresrtling. EWArena. There were a million more. If we could ever collectively put everyone in the same place, that would help. Probably impossible to do though.

That was actually the goal of this community but things are at a huge standstill for over a year now. FW was going to absorb an entire community and I had the designer behind Olympus and IWF building a simple Wordpress template for ewArena that anyone could use to run a fed. Some real life issues came up, halted the template, and that's where we're at with it still. We were also going to start a loose interfed called WrestleNet that would track shows, "ratings", roster moves, RPs, etc. It was a pretty ambitious project with FW serving as the forum hub for the whole thing.
