(FADE-IN: The backstage area. Lady V catches up with Jean Rabesque walking down the hallway. Rabesque is wearing blue trunks with a black GLCW T-shirt)
LADY VERONICA: "Jean Rabesque, I know you have a big match tonight with Jarod Poe against Anarky and Manson, but I wanted to ask you about...."
JEAN RABESQUE: "About what, V? Because the only thing on my mind right now is what's coming up tonight."
LADY V : "Well, you recently became the #1 Contender for Maelstrom's Great Lakes Title."
J.R.: "Yeah, that's right."
LADY V: "So, no title match tonight, when should we expect to see it?"
RABESQUE: "Look, I know this is the match everyone wants to see. I know it's the match six years in the making, but right now, I have tonight, and I have Ringlords on my mind. The title shot will wait. Somehow, I don't think me and Mael going at it beforehand would be the best thing for team camaraderie, if you know what I mean. Now if you'll excuse me....."
(Rabesque brushes past Lady V. CUT-TO: Matt Faley standing at mid-ring)
MATT FALEY: "Ladies and gentlemen, in our next match, coming to the ring," (CUE-UP: "Cochise" by Audioslave) "From Miami, Florida, weighing in at 250lbs., 'RAGE O' FIRE' JARED WELLS!!"
(The crowd cheers loudly as Wells walks out in his black and orange singlet. He walks down the aisle with his arms raised soaking in the cheers. When he gets to the ring, he points to a few people with Wells signs and then rolls in)
M.F.: "And his opponent," (CUE-UP: "Silverfuck" by the Smashing Pumpkins) "From New York, New York, weighing in at 230lbs., MINION!!"
(The crowd erupts with boos as Minion comes out, escorted by a phalanx of security to prevent any further brawls with Nemesis. Minion snarls at the crowd and stares wildly at Wells, as Minion seems to have been driven to an animal-like state due to the earlier events. He wears long charcoal colored tights and his hair is a mess. When he gets to the ring, he starts yelling at Wells before sliding in and attacking)
TONY ROSS: "And Minion, being escorted to ringside in an almost Hannibal Lechter type manner, dives into the ring and attacks Wells immediately!! Minion is in a berserker rage tonight!"
RICK WISEMAN: "This issue with Nemesis all started when their match in Green Bay a few weeks ago got completely out of hand and ever since then, they have been at each other's throats. I don't even think a Falls Count Anywhere in the Twin Cities stipulation can contain them!"
JAKE SHADES: "And now Minion can take out his rage and murder this has-been and keep him out of GLCW rings forever and do us all a favor!"
T.R.: "Minion is thrashing wildly at Wells, but Wells is fighting back just as violently! Big rights sends Minion staggering to the corner where Wells barrels into him shoulder first and then throws him to the mat! Wells mounts the second turnbuckle and waits for Minion to get up, then comes off with a double axehandle that clobbers him in the head! He pulls Minion up and hits him with a gutwrench suplex! Wells plays to the crowd and they respond!"
R.W.: "Wells seems to have a lot of energy tonight and is feeding off this raucous crowd here in Indianapolis, but he can't let his focus off of Minion for one moment."
T.R.: "Wells hauls him back to his feet and hits a jawbreaker! Minion staggers back into the corner and Wells goes in swinging with rights and lefts! He puts Minion up on the top rope! Is he setting him up for a superplex? He tries to hook Minion, but Minion thumbs him in the eye and shoves him off hard! He waits for Wells to get up and drills him in the face with a dropkick! Minion immediately is on top of him and wailing away at Wells!"
J.S.: "Yeah Minion yeah!! Bust that pretty boy up! Break his nose! Let's see some bloodshed baby!"
T.R.: "Your cheerleading has become asinine, Shades! Minion pulls Wells up and hits him with a nice T-bone suplex! Minion can wrestle when he wants to, but his wild nature tends to make him stray from that! Minion drops a high elbow and covers!! 1......2....No! Minion pulls Wells up by the hair and whips him in! Big flying clothesline!! Minion right back to the attack and he pulls Wells up for a swinging neckbreaker! Now he locks on a chinlock to wear Wells down some more!"
R.W.: "Look at Minion's eyes, how crazed and distant they are, this man just isn't all there. I'm surprised he's not trying to choke the life from Wells with that chinlock."
T.R.; "The referee checks but it looks good to him so no break. The crowd is really starting to get behind Wells here at the Pepsi Coliseum as they start stomping their feet and clapping their hands to get Wells going! He gets to his knees and now he works his way to his feet, feeding off this crowd! he elbows Minion but no break! Another elbow but Minion won't let go! Minion is still holding on after a third elbow! Wells finally backs him full force into the corner and the hold is broken!"
J.S.: "Aw come on Minion, get back on him! He should have choked him, then this baffoon might have stayed down!"
T.R.; "Minion rushes Wells and Wells ducks a clothesline and kicks Minion in the gut and hits a sidewalk slam!! He pulls Minion up, whips him, reversal! Wells with a leapfrog and Minion comes off the ropes with a flying forearm and he clobbered Wells! Minion quickly grabs him and hits a release German suplex!! Minion signalling to go up top! Wait a minute!"
R.W.: "Look, it's Nemesis, he's trying to fight his way through security!"
J.S.: "Who let this jerk out here and why wasn't he locked up!? I swear to God I think K.K. hired these security guys from Special Education programs!"
T.R.: "Minion has turned his attention to Nemesis, and Minion may have been going for the Fall From Grace as he stands on the second turnbuckle yelling at Nemesis! Nemesis is trying to fight his way past the security guys but there are many of them! Minion has lost his focus and Wells gets up, collects himself and rushes over and grabs Minion from behind! Back suplex into a bridge off the second turnbuckle!! 1.......2......3!! Wells got him!! Listen to this crowd!!"
R.W.: "Minion made a huge mistake there by taking his attention away from Wells and onto Nemesis, who could not get to ringside with all the security!"
J.S.: "This is ridiculous, I demand a restart! That bootlick Nemesis had no business out here and what else is Minion going to do but pay attention to him, he has to watch his back when that cheap shot artist is around!"
T.R.: "Regardless of what you think Shades, Jared Wells is the winner, and look at Nemesis smiling on the rampway, he knows that he indirectly caused Minion to lose!"
J.S.: "Yeah and now Nemesis is going to pay for it with his life at the Pay-Per-View!"
T.R.: "That remains to be seen, Jake! Fans, we will return after this with more Riptide from Indianapolis!"
(CUT-TO: The high plains of Texas. Gathering clouds can be seen in the distance as if signalling a coming storm. In front of the camera walks a man dressed in blue jeans, brown boots, a black button-up shirt and a tan cowboy hat. He stares off into the horizon at the clouds as the wind blows across the plain. The words "GOLDEN HAWK, coming soon to GLCW" appear on the screen. Fade to a commercial for the Duluth Wired)
LADY VERONICA: "Jean Rabesque, I know you have a big match tonight with Jarod Poe against Anarky and Manson, but I wanted to ask you about...."
JEAN RABESQUE: "About what, V? Because the only thing on my mind right now is what's coming up tonight."
