MONGOL! is based primarily in Mongolia, but it derives most of its heritage from puroresu, which is to say, the Japanese style of pro wrestling. Puro is known for stiff matches, solid wrestling, respectful audiences, a strong distinction between heavyweights and junior/light heavyweights, as well as a host of other things. One of these things are factions. In American and European promotions, stables crop up now and again and go by the wayside. In Japanese promotions, factions are an everpresent force; though the exact groups might not be consistent, they are always there.

As Mongolian All-Pro Wrestling transitions into MONGOL!, a few factions exist in competition.

Rising KHAN, the founder of Mongolian All-Pro Wrestling, gained his training and most of his fame in Shogun Pro Wrestling. He made strong ties there, so when he returned to Mongolia to start his own promotion, ShoPuro supported him by sending a few of their own wrestlers. The ShoPuro Army are not a concentrated faction, but they tend to stick together over others. The current Imperial Light Heavyweight Champion, Dancing Man, is a member of the Army.

The Loyal Hearts Club is the faction founded by Rising KHAN. They're an incredibly tight-knit group of Mongolian faces or sympathizers and, thus, have traditionally been the favorites. The profile of the Loyal Hearts Club is strong and only grows stronger with every successful defense that Rising KHAN makes of his Heavyweight Championship.

LIONS F.C. was founded by Anton Assault shortly after his departure from the Atlantic Wrestling Club. Initially, it simply trained mixed martial artists and pro wrestlers, but eventually it became a visible presence in its own right. LIONS are reputed to be incredibly vicious fighters even though they are mostly composed of foreigners. They've brought no titles to themselves yet, but they are definitely worth watching.

* * *

Of course, these existed in Mongolian All-Pro Wrestling. As MONGOL! brings in new talent, new factions could emerge, current factions could be bolstered, and rivalries will obviously build.

As an angle fed, MONGOL! exists to explore these rivalries.

NOTE: I'm listing this here because this isn't a strict advertisement, just a hype; I'm not linking to an application, nor do I plan on putting an application on the forum before formal advertisements go out. If this needs to be moved, though, please move it. I'm not familiar with how things work here.
