This is what the wrestling community has been buzzing about, this is where wrestlers from all around the globe are coming to define a legacy, raise their star, or affirm their egos. One hundred twenty eight competitors are all going to have one goal in mind, why else would they risk embarrassment by entering a tournament where they could easily be vanquished in the first round? When the ultimate prize is the UltraTitle, any and all risk is worth edging your name in the history of a prestigious award.

At the purest definition of wrestling the UltraTitle embodies everything that creates the sport of kings. Some may bring in personal vendettas, some may just enter for fame and glory, but there are those that enter for the competition....

Yes, the purity of competition drives those who understand the true purpose of wrestling. The ultimate winner of the UltraTitle will have to push their body past any and all limits, overcome mental barriers, and inform each of their opponents that they were not quite good enough. While they may have the skill to defeat the eventual winner on a separate occasion, just not when the lights were brightest and the result mattered the most. The drive that few battle tested competitors posses are what differentiates a contender from...

A Champion.

Scene

We open to a waste up shot of "The Dream" Marcus Davis, the camera is close to him getting a direct shot into his eyes. A short sleeve white shirt with a somewhat scuffed collar makes up his attire. A blue wrist band is around each wrist to finish off his visible attire. Sweat drips down his forehead and his hair is in a bit of a mess. Marcus puts his hands together in front of his face before dropping them down to the side.

"This what it looks like when you forget what time it is in the gym." Marcus begins with a smile on his face that quickly evaporates after a short pause, "As you can see behind me, there's no secret as to why I am standing here right now. As from the recent chatter all over the internet by other participants and fans alike, there are a great deal of others that are eager to get this tournament underway."

His voice is strong as he remains locked into place using his hands to occasionally emphasize a point, "I'm not going to be the one that stands here and insult those who have already made their opinions about the tournament known, I'd rather tell everyone watching a little story."

Marcus places his hands on his hips as he slowly begins pacing to his left in right, looking in the direction his body is pointing. One will also notice a shift in his voice which almost makes it seem as if he were speaking to himself.

"Much like everyone entered into this tournament thus far, I have won titles. I won the most important one in my career not too long ago. With that being said, I was raised in such a matter that has led me to believe that a person of true character does _NOT_ only admit their success, but their failures of well. Today I will stare everyone watching in the eye and admit my failures..."

Upon finishing his last sentence Marcus immediately stops pacing, turning directly to the camera he stares straight forward. The camera slowly zooms in onto his focused eyes that look to be full of passion.

"I have made a number of mistakes in my career especially in the United States, worked with promoters I should of never been involved with, allowed outside distractions take away from my ring work, I have even been caught up with the politics that at times almost destroy our sport. That is why the UltraTitle means more to mean than any other entrant..."

Marcus pauses briefly, an uncomfortable laugh escapes from his lips as he brushes droplets of sweet from his brow. He rubs his forehead for a brief moment before his eyes reconnect with the camera.

"I...NEED..to..win." The words drip from his mouth slowly, forcefully, and with complete sincerity, "This is not just some trophy that I want parade around for a few weeks then hide in a trophy case, this isn't a tournament that will help me end some vendetta, this is something that will make my _CAREER!_" Marcus points directly into the camera before continuing, "This tournament can rectify all my previous mistakes and show myself and every other wrestler on the planet that I belong at the top, that "The Dream" Marcus Davis is someone that should be respected. That's what it all comes down to, I'm not about to have this dream torn away by any opponent no matter their legacy, no matter how highly touted, no matter how great they think they are."

Marcus drops his arm back down to his side, now he is breathing heavily. After taking a few deep breaths he continues without taking his eyes off the camera.

"I cannot accept defeat, I will not be defeated, this..is..my..dream! When I step into the ring, I will be sure that my opponent knows that my dreams will be their biggest nightmare. All others in the tournament may take my words with a grain of salt and not take any of this seriously..."

An eerie smirk climbs across Marcus' face.

"To them I say...I will see you when the tournament begins."

End

My Dreams, Your Nightmare II

The festivities have begun, the competitors have begun to assemble within in their respect regions in preparation for the first round of the UltraTitle, a week ago "The Dream" Marcus Davis detailed his reasoning for being a combatant within the tournament that will undoubtedly crown a new king of wrestling. Since his passionate soliloquy he has been surprisingly silent while others have all made themselves known to everyone with a keen eye on the UltraTitle. With the pressure he bestowed on himself by putting such a high weight on his performance, one could have form many hypotheses as to why he did not quickly follow up his comments with an in-depth explanation.

Could he be completely unaware that with his comments a close eye will be focused on him by the wrestling community? Have doubts in his ability to compete against some of the best competition in the world caused his confidence to dwindle? Or perhaps there is another motive as to why Marcus has simply remained quiet while the competition has been allowed to have their say. Perhaps there is just a little bit more to his reasoning...

The UltraTitle will bring the best out of some, the worst out of others, and as for Marcus? Only time will tell which will arise from within his soul, although there will definitely be a new Marcus Davis that will arise. His silence? Well...It just shows that he's playing close attention as to what those around him are saying.

Scene

"The Dream" Marcus Davis is shown with his back to the camera walking in front of a glass window, he glances over towards the window to see a man wearing a headset with a microphone in front of him as he sits at a table. Marcus stands with his arms folded, his face is completely devoid of emotion as he waits patiently.

After a few moments the man lifts off his headset and waves towards Marcus. Marcus nods as he enters the room through a door just a few steps to his left. Once inside the man stands and the two shake hands.

Marcus: Thank you for having me Jerry.

Jerry: No..No..Thank you..please take a seat...

Marcus takes a seat at the table across from Jerry, Marcus adjusts the microphone in front of him as Jerry continues speaking after sitting back down himself.

Jerry: Definitely glad to have you on my show tonight, as we spoke about over the phone, we can go over your bracket and I'll allow you to say anything you'd like regarding the tournament.

Marcus nods his head.

Marcus: That sounds good to me, whatever you want to discuss is alright by me.
Jerry: Are you nervous about the tournament at all?

Without hesitating Marcus answers.

Marcus: Not at all...More excited than anything.Jerry: Good...Good. If you'll go ahead and put your headset on, we're going live in ten.

Marcus puts his headset on as Jerry's Producer counts down for him from the production room. As he hits one, Jerry begins with his excited commentary.

Jerry: Weeelcomeeee Back to the one the only...Jerry Stubbssss! You are listening to Inside the Kings Den! Now I am joined by UltraTitle participant "The Dream" Marcus Davis who has just arrived in the United States and graciously accepted my request to be my guest tonight!

Marcus...Thank you for joining us tonight.

Marcus: It's good to be here, I'm ready to get the UltraTitle underway.

Jerry: That's what I like to hear! Lets get right to the good stuff, all the brackets have now been released, and the pundits have been talking about who their favorite to win each bracket is. You are in Bracket 1 and not a soul is even giving you an opportunity to make it out of round one against your opponent Kin Hiroshi. I know your competitive nature, how does that sit with you?

Unbeknownst to the radio audience is the size of the smirk that comes across Marcus' face. He chuckles before answering.

Marcus: Not wasting anytime are you Jerry?

Jerry: Not at all, your time is valuable.

Marcus: To be honest, it sits with me perfectly fine. The pundits are looking at the names they recognize and will of course favor those. I am new to this area, basically unknown. The fact they don't know who I am doesn't mean much of anything...Correction, it means absolutely nothing. They look at the names in this bracket and immediately jump on Hiroshi and Melton...That's perfectly fine with me. I have no issue with shocking them all and defeating whoever is put in front of me.

Jerry: You mentioned a very important name there, Joey Melton. You could face....

Marcus cuts Jerry off.

Marcus: I know where the question is going Jerry, I have my hands more than enough full in my first round match with Hiroshi, as does Melton with his. My only concern at this point is what needs to be done in order to get past the first round. But make no mistake...

I'm _NOT_ going home anytime soon.

Jerry: That's a strong statement Marcus. A week ago today, you spoke to all of those following the UltraTitle with passion and spoke how you needed this tournament, how the UltraTitle could make your career valid. Can you speak more on that.

Marcus: I still hold true to those statements, that's why I will not be taking an early exit out of the tournament. There's no way I can let myself down like that, while I respect who my opponents may end up being and their own legacies...what they did in the past will not be able to lead them to victory. I'm here to win and that's what I'm going to do or give every ounce of energy in my body in my quest to do so.

A serious tone is in Marcus' voice, while his words may seem cocky they are met with the intent of backing up his every claim.

Jerry: In order for you to win the UltraTitle you're going to have to make it through Bracket 1. Tell us, who in this bracket are you familiar with from your past?

Marcus: The only member of the bracket that I have wrestled before is "Jester" Chad Allen, I'm fortunate enough to hold two victories over him. He's one of the most sadistic people I've ever been in the ring against, he's definitely someone that can make noise in the tournament. I'd love the opportunity to wrestle him again.

Sylo is a beast, someone that I would enjoy the opportunity to wrestle and defeat. Same with Spike Saunders, another very talented big man that could make people take notice in the UltraTitle.

Jerry: I take you have paid attention to statements from others in the bracket thus far?

Marcus: Definitely, I wanted to get a scope of the field before throwing in my two cents.

Jerry: I'll just throw some names out there, what are your opinions on Jeff Andrews?

Marcus: Talented guy, from what I've seen it doesn't seem he quite understands this tournament is about the UltraTitle and not whatever is going on in DEFIANCE. Doesn't seem to be that focused on the task at hand, but not all of us can prioritize correctly.

His voice changed into somewhat of a mocking tone, taking a direct shot at Andrews.

Jerry: Those are some interesting comments Marcus! Not holding back are you?

Marcus: Why should I? This tournament is about being the best, nothing else should matter. Where you came from is irrelevant, who you were friends with is irrelevant, what you did in the past is irrelevant. It's about what you are going to do in the present.

Jerry: What about Justin Voss?

Marcus: Can't seem to make a point without needing to swear, to each their own. He's a guy that again is very talented, seems like he has something to prove, but don't we all? I'd embrace the opportunity to step into the ring against him, he'd just be another obstacle in my way.

Jerry: And what about your first round opponent? What would you like to say to Kin Hiroshi?

Marcus: I won't get too in depth here. But, I will let Hiroshi know that I be no means plan on allowing him to advance in the UltraTitle. I respect him, but I see him as a test. If I can survive past Kin Hiroshi, then I know that I am prepared to achieve greatness. I'm ready to win this tournament in order to show the world and more importantly myself that I've always possessed the spirit of a champion. So, I accept the challenge of facing Hiroshi in the first round. I just will be leaving victorious.

Jerry: Everyone, you are listening to Inside the Kings Den! with my guest "The Dream" Marcus Davis, we will be back right after this break...

Re: My Dreams, Your Nightmare II

*The following takes place after cameras left after his previous promo*

Scene

Marcus pounds his feet against the bleachers running in between the aisles at an extremely quick pace. His feet come crashing down against the wood with extreme force and speed as with each step he wills himself to continue on with the intense workout.

His watch beeps which causes him to take an immediate right and begin running horizontally through the bleachers, making his steps that much more difficult to take. He begins talking to himself as he pushes himself on.

“Can’t…Lose…”

Marcus takes a few deep breaths as he continues to run before again speaking aloud to himself.

“I…Can’t….Lose…”

He comes to the end of a section and steps over to the next and continues his exercise. Just as he begins to get in stride his watch goes off again. Marcus immediately slows down; placing his hands over his head he begins to control his breathing in order to catch his breath. After a few moments he sits down on the bleachers, he holds his head down for a moment as he takes deep breaths.

“I…Will Not….Lose….”

He remains quite for the next minute as he catches his breath; he slowly stands back up to his feet and makes his way back to where his bottle of water is seated. Again he begins speaking to himself, this time in a more controlled manner.

“So this is what it comes down to Marcus?”

He slowly continues his path to the water bottle, lost in his own world.

“All this training…which could lead to nothing other than a first round defeat?”

He bends down to pick up the water bottle before taking a long gulp from it.

“No…Kin Hiroshi won’t defeat me…Nobody will.”

He jumps down off the bleachers and begins walking towards the exit of the empty gym.

“…There’s some things I just can’t allow to happen…”

End.

Chirp Chirp Chirp.

New Message.

Sender: Blocked.

Subject: A living nightmare.

Macrus, is it? I caught wind of something you said. You made it a point to use my name as someone you'd like to wrestle and defeat. What you fail to realize is I don't wrestle. I hurt people. I destroy people. I end careers. Every single person that's ever faced me has lost a part of themselves. I'm not a wrestler. I'm a true NIGHTMARE. In my world you're nothing more than an ant that I allow to scuttle back and forth so I wouldn't mention my name in any aspect unless you want me to pick my foot up and stomp you out of existence. I'm not A beast, no, I am THE beast. To be more exact I am THE SUPERBEAST and there are so many things you can put someone through and not kill them. I promise you though, if you get in my way, if you step into my line of sight, I will extinguish your flame. I'm not here for you or anyone else. I have enough glory to last a life time. I'm here to destroy this pathetic tournament and crush every last one of you in one single act of defiance. Remember, there are things lurking in the shadows, and if you push too far it won't be some box you find me in. Remember that as you chase your pathetic dream.

Dreams are for the weak.

Flock to me sheep...and I will slaughter you all.

Re: My Dreams, Your Nightmare II

The following is an interview conducted at WrestlePro.Com by one of their staff via email.

Wrestle Pro: Thank you for joining us Marcus, we know you have a busy schedule with the upcoming UltraTitle tournament. Speaking of the tournament, we’ve heard you and your first round opponent Kin Hiroshi exchange words. What has the preparation for the UltraTitle been like for you?

Marcus: Exhausting…But, really I’ve picked up my training and I am looking to put my best foot forward against “The Mu…” I mean “The Delusional” Kin Hiroshi. This is a huge opportunity and I’m looking to make the most of it, I have a long career ahead of me barring injury, but I don’t know how many more opportunities like this I’ll have.

WrestlePro: So you are looking to leave a lasting impression?

Marcus: Definitely, I shouldn’t waste my time or any possible opponents’ time with me being here. But that begins and ends with Kin Hiroshi at this point.

WrestlePro: Why don’t we take a look at the next round, where you could possible face the two time UltraTitle winner, Joey Melton?

Marcus: One match at a time, I’m not looking past Kin Hiroshi in any form. He may find me as to not having a chance against him, he may feel entitled as to the UltraTitle being owed to him, and he may have had a point. His only issue is that he forgot that he needs to earn it, if I _EARN_ my way into the second round then I will have plenty to say about Joey Melton or Ethan Archer.

WrestlePro: With your career on an upturn, how much weight do you put on your showing in the UltraTitle?

Marcus: Quite a bit to be honest, as I said before this tournament means a great deal to me personally. It would be an honor that I have earned through blood, sweat, and tears, an accomplishment that would go a long way in defining who I am as a wrestler. That’s just the kind of motivation I need to reach success.

WrestlePro: I know you want to focus on Kin Hiroshi, but yesterday a message sent to you by one Sylo was leaked on the internet. How do you respond to that message? Do you know who leaked it?

Marcus: I do not know who did, I left my laptop on and by the time I had read the message myself it was already online. I guess everyone wants to know about everything surrounding the UltraTitle. I won’t say anything directly about Sylo..but I will say that I’ve heard the act many times before. You know the guy who wants to hurt people, doesn’t care about victories, gloats about ending careers, and has the IQ of a five year old. Yeah, I know the type. It’s all an act, if you aren’t in this industry for the competition, you don’t belong in it. He wouldn’t have been able to survive in this sport without caring about actually defeating people. It doesn’t fool me, but he can keep up the act if it is what makes him happy. I have more important issues to worry about than trying to end someone’s career.

WrestlePro: Those are some harsh words directed towards the SuperBeast.

Marcus: Super who? Oh right, Sylo….That wasn’t necessarily directed towards him. I’ve just seen a pattern with guys who make those statements. I’m personally not worried or concerned with him in anyway. All my focus is on the first round of the UltraTitle and Kin Hiroshi.

WrestlePro: Thank you for joining us Marcus.

Marcus: My pleasure.

Re: My Dreams, Your Nightmare II

This past week Sylo was a guest on Dawncast - hosted by Dawn Cassidy.Dawncast is one of the most popular wrestling shows on television watched by millions every Tuesday night at 9pm EST, live from New York City, New York. Only on ESEN! The following is the transcript from the interview. Parental Supervision is advised.

Dawn Cassidy: Our guest tonight has won multiple titles, stared in multiple federations, and is known the world over. I, myself, have had the pleasure and sometimes fear of interviewing him as a reporter during my stint in The Legacy of Champions. Now Sylo, I know you're a straight to the point kind of guy, so I'll get right to it. Everyone is buzzing about the Ultratitle but you seem to have taken a nonchalant and, some would say, apathetic approach to the whole thing. Why is that?

Sylo: Simple. I saw a chance to do what I do best and that's have victims thrown at me. I've said from day one if I win this tournament I'm going to burn the title and by doing that I will have single handily have destroyed Chad Merrit, his lackeys, and will have crushed the will of all these has-beens and never-wills. The sound of their pride and will breaking at once is a sound more beautiful than any piece of music ever made. It's a sound that comes from deep inside a person, you hear them break, you hear them give up, and there's no coming back.

Dawn Cassidy: So, you've always been a man of motive even if those motives are never clear until it's too late. You've played the villan and the hero. I have to ask, why? What is the motive behind ending this tournament?

Sylo: Simply put this tournament is a sham and a mockery. A few guys think they win this title and the whole world opens up for them when in reality it's just a title. People don't care about the Ultratitle winner. Sure, that **** may look good on a resume for some up and coming federation but let's face it they'll hire any half-ass that can pull off a simple close line. Real stars aren't made by winning something like this and the fact that it even exists spits in the face of everyone that actually went out every night, made it to the top of the big federations, and was "that guy". These ants believe they're entitled to some sort of special treatment because you won one title? For most of them this is it. Unfortunatly after this? There won't be an Ultratitle tournament and if I'm wrong, at least I know it'll never be the same. Even if someone lucks up and manages to beat me I've already left a wound and I plan on ripping and digging deeper into that wound the further I advance.

Dawn Cassidy: I'd like to touch on something that's been blowing up all over the internet. Apparently Marcus Davis had mentioned you, you caught wind of it, and actually sent him an e-mail. He then responded with a twitter post. Can you tell us if you actually sent the e-mail and your thoughts on the whole thing?

Sylo: I did send the email. I did it so that waste of a cum shot would at least have a warning. My name isn't one you walk around and mention lightly. I've built a throne on ending careers. Everywhere I go, fans across the world, they all chant the same thing as I walk to the ring; All hail The King. In LoC I ran through some of the toughest sons of *****es you'll find and became the king of the Underground. Ask guys like Ninja K, Scott Riktor, Rune Winters, Krow, and even Frost what happens when you face me. Ask them how it changed them. I have the power to make or break anyone. Derecho took the Legacy Title off of me, he talks about it even now, but he fails to mention how Alias and Brandon Thomas had to rush in and help him win that title. He fails to mention when the famous "streak" was going on how I beat the dog **** out of him. I've fought and I've beaten the best. Davis needs to be prepared before he mentions my name because honestly, watching video of the guy, I'll end his career. That goes for anyone else inside or outside of this tournament. If you cross that line, if a toe crosses into my domain, I will add you to the long list of victims I've used to pave the path to hell.

Dawn Cassidy: Strong words. You're not afraid of painting a target on your back? You'll have a tournament full of guys wanting to beat you to prove you wrong. Also, it seems you're confident you'll breeze past round one. Your thoughts?

Sylo: My entire career I've always had some sort of target on my back. It's something that comes with being on top. I welcome it. The more that come my way the faster I can break them and move on. As far as my round one opponent? It's an insult. He's fodder - someone thrown in my way to try and slow me down, maybe give me a false sense of victory but I look at each opponent. The man they put before me is the man I will make wish he was never born. To be honest I can't even tell you my first round opponents name but what I can tell you is this: It'll be his final match. I will be in round two and then I will be focusing on either Umpiro or Troy Douglas. Either man can win, it doesn't matter to me, they'll just be my next victim.

Dawn Cassidy: Sylo, thank you for your time. Please, we'd love to have you back after the tournament, and best of luck in the Ultratitle Tournament.

Sylo: We'll see and luck is for the weak. I don't need luck. All I can say is stay tuned and watch as I burn this tournament to ash.

SyloSuperBeast: @TriStar Workout was great. It was nice to be in an octagon instead of a ring. Ready to bust some more skulls and end this pathetic tourny. Predicting Dawncast's ratings drop next week #TeamPerfectPredator.

Re: My Dreams, Your Nightmare II

The following takes place in a hotel room without cameras present

Scene

“The Dream” Marcus Davis sits on a bed with tan sheets in some hotel room at the location of the first round of the UltraTitle. He only wears white sweat pants with his DreamLine logo on them. A cell phone is to his ear, on the other line is his agent Amanda Mancini who is back in Japan attending to another client. Marcus has the phone on speaker sitting beside him.

Amanda: Tomorrow is the day. I know you’re prepared for it.

Marcus: Let’s hope so, I didn’t come all this way after an eighteen hour flight to simply lose. Or at least that’s what I’m telling myself.

Amanda: You’ve done all you can, if anything you’ve worked too hard.

Marcus stays quite for a moment as he lies back putting the phone beside him.

Marcus: Training with Dan has got me into the best shape I’ve ever been in…Anything can happen inside the ring, even someone in the state of Kin Hiroshi could get fortunate enough to get a victory.

Amanda: Don’t think like that, you’ve watched way too much film and done the work for it to just come down to chance.

Marcus: Anything can happen, if all it was based on was preparation I would have already won the UltraTitle. It has to be won inside the ring…does Kin Hiroshi have a great chance tomorrow? No. He may think he’s the favorite against me..that doesn’t matter. He’s done little other than bounce at a club; as far as I am concerned he’s the underdog.

Amanda: That’s the right way to think..I do apologize about accepting that booking for Dawncast. She was very interested in having you on, especially after Sylo’s comments…

Marcus: I couldn’t care less about Sylo right now, he just wants attention. I don’t mind doing the show at all, if anything it will guarantee I won’t over train…

Amanda: Umm…You’re not worried about Sylo at all?

Marcus laughs slightly.

Marcus: I don’t care about anyone in this tournament until they are officially my opponent in the next round. He’s not in the least bit of my worry, he just wants attention.

Amanda: I do want you to stay focused on the tournament; big things are set up for you if you do well…

Marcus interrupts her.

Marcus: I’m not just planning to do well Amanda, I won’t be satisfied unless I _Win_ the UltraTitle. There’s a long way to go and it starts tomorrow, but that’s not when it will end…

Marcus looks at the digital clock on the night stand next to the bed.

Marcus: I better get some sleep; I have to be up early tomorrow.

Amanda: Yes you do, sleep well and be sure to win tomorrow.

He smirks.

Marcus: That’s what I’m planning to do.

Fade.

I figured you wouldn't answer, Marcus. You may be wondering how I got this number but it wasn't hard. Listen, I didn't call to threaten you, in fact, I watched your match personally before I demolished whatever his name was. I hope you watched mine. I hope you saw what happened after the match, when they cut away, how that poor slob had to be taken out of the ring. I saw your agent there by the way. You two seem to be pretty close? So what's the deal, Marcus? Are you f*cking her or what? I suppose it doesn't matter, keep up the good work champ I'll be seeing you soon enough. Tick...Tock...Marcus. Tick...Tock.

Laughter, almost mocking in tone, but something dark laced it as there was a click of a phone disconnecting.

It took Marcus quite a bit of time to leave the arena last night, as he stayed in the back secluded, watching every match that was put on display in Troy and Greensboro. Immediately after the show he jumped on his lap top and typed up notes on specifically Joey Melton while not leaving the arena until about five o’clock in the morning. Why so long? He also decided to dig through the archives and watch a few Melton matches as well from the archives before leaving the arena.

Scene

Marcus sits on the edge of his bed after waking up after his first day of sleeping in. He didn’t make it back to his hotel until seven o’clock in the morning, after taking some time to eat at a local Denny’s and doing further research into his next opponent Joey Melton. He sits on the edge of his bed. He reaches towards his phone, noticing he has a message, he checks his missed calls. Seeing as how he doesn’t recognize any numbers he tosses the phone aside figuring a fan somehow got his number. He gets off the bed, making his way to his already packed suitcase.

Marcus: …Glad everything is situated for this training camp in Canada. It will do me some good…

Marcus looks in the mirror; his body language is a bit sluggish as he seems slightly sluggish from his long night of rest.

Marcus: Time for me to shock the UltraTitle one more time…

Marcus walks into the bathroom as we fade.

Re: My Dreams, Your Nightmare II

Sleep.

Sleep is for the weak and feeble.

I prey upon the weak for I am the nightmare that fuels their fear. The cold sweat that falls from a quivering brow and splashes out of existence. The battle of a man's soul isn't won by the deeds done in life, rather, it is won by slaying his demons that reach deep inside, to the core, and rip his fears forth screaming like the damned locked in rusty chains that grind through flesh until nothing but bone shows--only for them to awake into their nightmare once more.

Jay Edward Sylo was once weak, he once had fear, he once felt compassion, and despair. He felt these things until I showed him the light. He felt these things until I ripped his humanity away piece by piece. It was quite...pathetic. He clung to that humanity like a mother would as her infant was being ripped from her arms until one day the sound of a silent scream, the snap of a will, and in the blink of an eye I became whole.

The perfect...predator.

Sleep...

Sleep to the sound of the drums of war but do not wake. Never wake. For if you do it is I you shall find. Your world, scorched to ash, the bones of the rich, the whores, the beggars, the liars, the winners, and the saints shall crunch under every footstep. Status, rank, and all the things of a worthless life will mean nothing for all shall fade into one. Look into the eyes of destruction and realize that I am no mere man. I am no mere monster. The title of SuperBeast wasn't absently thrown onto the name I was given. The title was earned because what I did was transcend a monster, transcend a beast, and became something more.

So now you sleep, child.

All of you sleep.

He doesn't need me to get past these would-be soldiers but soon, very soon, I will take control once more. When I do this tournament will be the least of everyone's concern. They will fall to their knees, broken, body and soul, for when I step forth into battle I slaughter the sheep.

I am their fear

I am their salvation

Flock to me my sheep...and I shall slaughter you all.

For now go back to sleep.

Sean: It’s no problem, it will be good for the students and you offered quite a generous sum.

Dawncast

The following is from Dawncast that aired on Tuesday at 9pm

Scene

Marcus Davis is sitting beside Dawn in a comfortable looking chair, he had just arrived from Canada a few hours before the show. The interview has just began.

Dawn: Marcus, I would like to thank you for joining me tonight. You were successful in your first round victory against Kin Hiroshi, many are calling it an upset, how do you feel about your victory?

Marcus: It is one of many to come. I personally feel as there is no such thing as an upset, if you step into the ring, you're always at risk of defeat, no matter your opponent. I was vastly underestimated and we saw the results of such a mistake.

Dawn: Your next round opponent is Joey Melton, again everyone is picking against you in your match. How does that make you feel?

Marcus: I honestly couldn't care less. They're not stepping into the ring, they don't see what I put into preparation. It only adds fuel to my motivation, so if anything I owe those people a thank you...

Dawn: Why's that?

Marcus: Everyone needs to stay humble, hearing those types of opinions only make it easier for me to focus on the goal at hand, which is to win the UltraTitle. I don't mind hearing anything anyone has to say, it just doesn't mean a great deal at the end of the day. I look forward to the challenge Joey Melton will present, but I am in no way fearful or worrying about what others have to say about it.

Dawn nods her head.

Dawn: Moving onto another hot issue, there's been a lot of rumors on the internet about exchanges between you and Sylo. He appeared on this show last week, what is the issue between the two of you?

Marcus grins and shakes his head.

Marcus: In all honesty? He's just a walking moron who thinks he'll...

Air Quotes

Marcus: "End My Career." Yeah...Alright...That's something I've never heard before...

Marcus rolls his eyes.

Dawn: Are you making light of Sylo?

Marcus: Not at all, I'm making light of his overdone act. Why does he think I care what he's done, who he's done it to, or what they have to say about it? Is Sylo talented? Sure. He's not as quite as intelligent or as scary as he thinks he is. I honestly have had enough of listening to Sylo, if you remember I mentioned his name out of respect. He has gone on to show he is nothing other than a loud mouth, attention hungry, wannabe important, insignificant, seven foot, about to get his head kicked off, victim of a dramatic humbling...

Marcus smiles and raises his right index finger to the side of his head, before playfully pointing it at Dawn.

Marcus: ...And you can quote me on that.

Dawn: I thought Sylo made some harsh comments last week.

Marcus: He did, I'm just not interested in his annoying amount of threats and his demanding of my attention. He hasn't said or done anything to anyone I haven't seen before. As far as I am concerned, he's not worth my time at this point. I only care about my next opponent.

Dawn: We'll be right back after this commercial break to speak about Marcus' ventures outside of wrestling.

The scene fades as Marcus leans over and whispers to Dawn. She smiles and shakes her head.

Re: Dawncast

The following takes place near the end of the interview on Tuesday night. Dawn and Marcus just finished discussing his various companies, love of film, his career in wrestling up until this point, and his favorite Japanese cuisine.

Dawn: We have spoke about a number of issues tonight. Getting back to your current focus..What would winning the UltraTitle mean to you?

Marcus: Validation. It would mean a great deal to win a tournament of this magnitude. Especially when the odds are stacked against me, it's just a goal that I know is within my grasp and something that I have the ability to obtain. I'll also mention something else, Joey Melton or no Joey Melton I'm ready to meet the obstacle put in front of me and conquer it. It's definitely a challenge I am willing to accept.

Dawn: You seem quite determined.

Marcus: I am. I'll always be willing to go that extra mile in order to make myself the champion I need to be. The opponent put in front of me presents a unique opportunity and a different challenge, but at the end of the day, it's the same situation, they want to keep me from my goals and that's something I just cannot allow.

The crowd applauds having taken a liking to The Dream during the course of the interview.

Dawn: What do you expect from Joey Melton in your second round match?

Marcus: Anything and everything to be honest. I'm prepared for everything that he could possibly throw in my direction. You have to be in order to have any chance at defeating someone of his caliber.

Dawn: Before we go..before the show you were told by my Producer that I challenged you to a push up contest. Do you accept?

Dawn smiles as the crowd applauds. Marcus smiles while looking over his clothes.

Marcus: Well..I'm not afraid of getting my clothes dirty. I'm not going to pull a Sylo and be all talk with little to no action...So yes Dawn, I accept.

The crowd applauds as they get on the floor in the push up position with smiles on their faces. Before beginning Dawn points at the camera.

Dawn: Thank you for tuning into Dawncast, we will be back next week!

Fade

After the show Marcus tweeted the following:

"Looks like Dawn beat me tonight. Something neither Sylo or Melton will ever do #UltraTitle #BackToTraining #GoingtoRound3"

Relaxing or Not?

*The following takes place in Tampa, Florida off camera*

A large Tampa, Florida mansion, the family crest on the outside gate, no less than 600 yards away from the front door tells all that this is a Davis resident. This is not one of the properties of Marcus though; this establishment belongs to Madison and Richard Davis, his loving parents. Inside the gates, closer to the door around a hundred or so people are scattered around in summer dresses, skirts, khakis, and other semi-formal wear.

All different races and ethnicity are represented by the guests. Mary and Alexander Davis, who also compete in NJWF are seen on the premises. As is Alexander’s tag team partner in Generation Venture, Lennox Perkins. Alex’s twin Mary is speaking to a few order people with looks to be a wine glass in her hand, a few days before her and Alex’s 21[SUP]st[/SUP] birthday. Eh, it’s private property, who cares?

Tamara Davis, Marcus’ oldest sister is speaking to Athrodite Dollard, who graduated a two year nursing program in Tokyo, she has been studying martial arts and catch wrestling the past few years and is looking to tryout for the NJWF Dojo soon. The owners of the wonderful house are entertaining a few guests near the entrance to their home.

Where is Marcus? Inside on the couch, away from most of the activity he sits across from a blonde haired female and a tanned male who seem to know Marcus quite well. Marcus looks at his cellphone which reads, “Ignore Sylo, I enjoyed our conversation after the show, he’s just trying to get to you. More important things to worry about.” Above the message reads “Dawn Cassidy” Marcus smiles, before taking the time to text back, “He’s no concern, I only care about Melton. It would take an act of Divine Intervention for him to defeat me, as it’s not possible any other way. It’s all in my favor.”

Marcus puts the cellphone down beside him as he turns his attention to those sitting in front of him. They are fellow Japanese Gaijin “Future of the World” Maurice Thompson and his girlfriend, model/actress Chelsea Devlin. Maurice wrestles in a different promotion than Marcus, but the two have developed a friendship.

Maurice: How was the training for Melton?
Marcus: Pretty good, he honestly doesn’t have much of a chance. I respect him, but now he only lives on name recognition. He doesn’t bring the needed abilities to defeat me.

Maurice: What about all of his supporters, all you read about is people saying you have no chance.

Marcus smirks.

Marcus: I’ve heard the same, it means nothing. He has his fans that would say I had no chance if he was eighty. They don’t pay attention to the small details; I guarantee you that Melton has no business defeating me, not today or any day. He’s too busy on porn sets and trying to set his bodies up with shows in North Korea.

Chelsea: I’ve heard about your training, why so much?

Marcus: When you’re in the ring against someone like Melton, you can’t take him for granted. I had to prepare myself to throw everything at him; I’m not walking away from the UltraTitle so quickly. It’s time for Melton to step away and I’m the one that’s going to force him out.

Maurice: And Sylo?

Marcus shrugs his shoulders.

Marcus: You’ve dealt with people like him Maurice, just someone who wants to stir the pot to keep him relevant. He’s a waste of energy, I’m over Sylo. He should worry about things that concern him rather than make up ways to sound tough.

Maurice: He does sound to be full of hot hair..

Chelsea: I don’t like his tattoos either; he’s just…gross looking.

Marcus and Maurice both laugh.

Marcus: Agreed, he’s lost all my respect. Melton is on that route, spends all his time talking about everything else but the UltraTitle. Definitely the actions of a champion full of pride, he would rather act as if he is over the tournament. Yes, that is definitely someone that has the edge over me.

The last sentence was said full of sarcasm.

Maurice: You have plenty of time to worry about Melton in the next few days, let’s go enjoy the party your parents put together.

The camera fades as the three get up and begin walking towards the front door, passing a few of the service staff.

Re: Relaxing or Not?

The following is a press release issued earlier today to the media from representatives of Sylo:

So, it seems even though Marcus Davis kept saying he was just going to ignore me, then proved to be a hypocrite, then went on to act as if he had some sort of relationship with a personal friend of mine and keep slandering their name after they've asked him to stop multiple times I can't help but issue the following challenge.

No ring, no scrips, no gimmicks. You and I...locked in an Octagon. 5 rounds-5 minutes each. Not as though I need that much time to teach you a lesson in personal boundaries and the dangers of hypocrisy. So, get off your ass, stop that whole "high road" bull**** you're trying to pull off (and failing) and just sign the paper work. Lawyers have already drawn it up, I've signed it, all you have to do is sign the line.

OR you could just continue to be a mouthy p*ssy. Your call.

Press Conference

*The following is off camera until specified*

We open to “The Dream” Marcus Davis mansion in Fussa, Tokyo, Japan. His Publicist, Danielle Lira, Agent Amanda Mancini, and 1/3 of his legal team Ashely Hawkins stand at the door leading into the living room which has furniture moved and a podium placed inside preparing for a press conference. Around two dozen of invited media fill the chairs in the room. Danielle peaks outside before turning back towards the other two ladies. All of which are dressed in classy business attire. A few members of Davis’ staff walk around behind them.

Danielle: The camera crews are here…(towards Amanda) are you one hundred percent sure this is what Marcus wants?

Amanda: It was on speaker, you heard him…

Danielle: He didn’t have that much to say really.

Ashley: He just wants the situation out of the way, everything should be in order.

Silence falls over the three briefly as Danielle looks a bit nervous.

Danielle: I just don’t want to mess up, I really like this job…We all know what he thinks of this..what’s his name, Ashley?

Ashley: Legally? Jay Edward Sylo.

Amanda: That’s why this is the right decision. He may not of said much, but he said enough to give us direction…I’m honestly surprised he said anything, he was in the middle of watching film.

Danielle: Alright…We might as well take care of this now…

We shoot to the filmed footage, from here on out everything is broadcasted to various news sources. Danielle, Amanda, and Ashley walk into the room as a few camera flashes go off. The security staff is light, but make sure their presence is known. Danielle stands in front of the podium, Ashley and Amanda stand on either side of her. The following airs live on NJWF TV in Japan.

*On Camera*

Danielle: I appreciate all of your attendance today for this press conference. As announced earlier, Mr. Davis is not able to attend as he is currently in the United States. In his absence he wanted to make sure recent events were to be addressed in a quick manner. I am joined today by his Agent…

Amanda Mancini…

She politely bows.

Danielle: …And Ashley Hawkins, who is a member of his legal team…

Ashley Hawkins also politely bows.

Danielle: I am Danielle Lira his Publicist…

She clears her throat before continuing.

Danielle: I would like to begin by making this statement in regards to Jay Edward Sylo, who is better known as by his surname Sylo, thus we will refer to him as such for the remainder of the press conference. As all of you are aware, through representatives Sylo put out a statement yesterday evening in the United States in which drew a lot of attention…

She smirks.

Which is obvious by your attendance here today…

Laughter is heard, even Amanda and Ashley crack smiles.

Danielle: I will address his press release at the end of my statements. Mr. Davis wanted to inform Sylo, as he seems to be the only one unaware of the timeline of the recent course of events…

Mr. Davis first mentioned Sylo’s name out of the upmost respect a few weeks ago on a media appearance, completely without any malcontent or disrespect. At that point in time, Mr. Davis had nothing but respect for the history and reputation of Sylo. While Sylo has never been a man of character, he did make quite a name for himself inside the ring, earning a credible reputation.

Sylo responded with an e-mail which I am sure all of you have seen which was in the least bit respectful, which was unfortunately leaked to the internet; we assume Sylo was the one who made sure it reached public eye.

She pauses briefly as she continues to make eye contact with as many media members as possible.

Danielle: Since that point, Marcus had only responded to further comments made by Sylo. He even went as far as to go out of his way to retrieve Mr. Davis’ number…

Amanda shakes her head at the mention of the phone call, remembering the allegations Sylo made.

Danielle: He made threats and claims which were obviously combative in nature. Ms. Hawkins will go into further with her statements…I would like to end my statements by speaking of the obvious Dawn Cassidy references Sylo made…

Mr. Davis and Ms. Cassidy met a few years ago and have kept in touch since that point in time; no requests by Ms. Cassidy were made towards Mr. Davis over slander or any other unpleasant issue. Sylo has mentioned Mr. Davis on twitter on numerous occasions without Mr. Davis following him or responding to such claims. Even went as far as disrespecting the BHC Heavyweight Championship and the legacy of that title…So it is safe to say that Sylo is the one who cannot keep out of Mr. Davis’ business…

Now…I will allow Ms. Hawkins to make her statement, she will be followed by Ms. Mancini before we accept a few questions.

Danielle bows as she and Ashley trade places. Ashley bows as well as she stands at the podium.

Ashley: Hello…As Ms. Lira stated there was a very derogatory phone call placed by one Sylo to the private cell phone of Mr. Davis, which was found at a later date. While the call was blocked, we were able to trace the call back to Sylo, who did not state his name during the harassing call, where he made lode comments before making what could be taken as a threat…

Last week the other members of Marcus Davis’ legal team: Misters Kusumoto Taku and Nate Fortune and I, approached Mr. Davis with his legal options after we were able to trace the number. Mr. Davis refused to press any legal charges, but I announce today that if anymore such calls are placed to Mr. Davis the legal team at the Fortune & Kusumoto Firm will heavily encourage Mr. Davis to pursue legal actions against Sylo…

She pauses briefly as there is some chatter from the media. It quickly subsides and she continues.

Ashley: The other matter is the unprofessional statement released by the representatives of Sylo, which was laden with profanity and threats towards Mr. Davis…I will allow Ms. Mancini to address the challenge presented directly after the following. We received the contract offer at the Fortune & Kusumoto Firm at our Tokyo office late last night, I personally looked it over. The challenge was presented as Sylo’s statement spoke of, a few more specifics were that the breakdown of monetary considerations of such an event would be negotiated after the fight was signed, and that a specific sanctioning body and location would be determined as well at a later date. The contract did state that Sylo was willing to accept a fifty-fifty split of all the earnings from a fight between the two….

Now I will allow Ms. Mancini to give her statement…

Ashley bows again as she and Amanda trade places. Amanda bows also before beginning.

Amanda: Thank you…The three of us spoke to Mr. Davis early this morning after the fight offer was brought to his attention. Before we could even ask if he had a response he quickly said...

And I quote…

…”Not on his life”….

Every journalist…all of them begin typing on their Iphones or other technological devices to get the line down.

Amanda: While Marcus is a documented martial artist he will not venture into a Mixed Martial Arts match, as he personally does not wish to ever compete in such an environment. So, as of 1:23 PM Japanese Standard Time, the contract was shredded…

…However…

Marcus did have a suggestion which kept me on the phones and allowed me to practice my Japanese for quite some time this afternoon…

She smiles as some of the journalists laugh.

Amanda: The NJWF LLC Executives and the Burning Honor Committee agreed to the following proposal, if Mr. Davis is successful during his v2 defense of the BHC Heavyweight Championship on the June 5[SUP]th[/SUP] NJWF Pay-Per-View “~CREATION~” the BHC has put the stamp of approval on Mr. Davis making his v3 defense of the championship on July 1[SUP]st[/SUP] in Paris, France on a BHC promoted show…

The BHC recognize Sylo’s talent and feel he is worthy of a championship match. While Sylo was ranked higher on the BHC International Championship rankings, they felt he was beyond worthy of this match as well. This match allows for the two to settle their differences in a wrestling ring where both made their names…

She pauses.

Amanda: Now, we will accept questions….

Journalists raise their hands someone with a microphone hands it to a female journalist in the first row, who is Japanese.

Female Journalist #1: Will the contents of the phone call to Marcus Davis by Sylo be released?

Ashley steps up to the podium.

Ashley: They will not at this time, no…

Cameras flash as hands raise and a male journalist receives the microphone.

Male Journalist #1: This is for Danielle. Why isn’t Marcus speaking on this himself?

Danielle walks up to the podium.

Danielle: Sylo has been too much of a distraction already; Mr. Davis is concentrating on his Round 2 match of the UltraTitle against Joey Melton. That takes priority over Sylo at this point.

Same pattern again. Another male journalist is chosen.

Male Journalist #2: This is again for you Danielle, does Marcus not accepting Sylo’s challenge open him up to criticism for possibly being afraid of Sylo?

Danielle smirks.

Danielle: One could make that claim, but I would argue that Sylo refusing to meet Marcus in the ring would be a show of cowardice. Sylo stated the belt was meaningless or something along those lines…If it were of so little worth he should jump at the opportunity at taking it away from Marcus. If Sylo refuses to meet in a wrestling match under BHC rules, then it only shows he knows he could never defeat Mr. Davis in a wrestling match.

Amanda steps up to the podium.

Amanda: I would also like to add onto that, it also leaves most of the extra negotiation out of the picture. If he accepts the BHC will pay him and he gets his opportunity at Marcus. I honestly don’t think he’ll take this offer and just use it as an excuse to continue running his mouth.

Hands raise, another male journalist is chosen.

Male Journalist 3: This question is for Ashley…What legal actions do you wish to see your client pursue against Sylo?

Ashley steps up to the podium.

Ashley: There are grounds for harassment, communicating a threat, and a number of other possible crimes that Sylo has committed. I am just looking out for the best interest of my client….However; Mr. Davis has shown no interest in pursuing any at this time.

Danielle steps up to the podium.

Danielle: One final question before we have to go…

A female journalist is chosen.

Female Journalist #2: Why does Marcus feel Sylo is coming after him, from the claims about Dawn Cassidy, to the threats, to the tweets, and everything that you have gone over today?

Danielle: I’ll take that question…Mr. Davis has stated before that Sylo is seeking attention. He has just been attempting to get under his skin, while he’s failed at the ladder; the former has been a resounding success. You hear about this all over Puroresu media in Japan, wrestling media in the United States and Canada, even parts of Europe are covering the issues between the two…
He also was successful in obtaining Mr. Davis’ attention. If Sylo wants to actually live up to what is it…Superbeast? Yeah…if he wants to live up to that moniker…he’ll face Mr. Davis in Paris, France at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy….

Thank you everyone…

Some questions are still shouted, but the three walk into the room they were in earlier. Ending the live NJWF TV coverage. We now switch back to off camera as the ladies have smiles on their faces.

*Off Camera*

Amanda: That wasn’t too bad…

Danielle: I think it went well, hopefully Marcus thinks so when he hears about it.

Ashley: We handled it well, that will give the media something else to focus on…

Amanda nods her head.

Amanda: Now the pressure is back on Sylo…I really doubt he’ll take the match…

Ashley: He probably will, the BHC could offer him a good sum for the match. They haven’t been around since the 60s without knowing how to do business.

Danielle: We’ll see what happens…

Amanda: Drinks tonight?

Danielle and Ashley look at each other.

Danielle & Ashley: Drinks.

Amanda: Looks like another night at Feria Tokyo.

Fade.

Re: Press Conference

Part 1.

Breaking news!

The following takes place on the late-night ESEN show Late Night Rope Break! - hosted by Roger Diaz which is a late night wrestling talk show that covers more of the things going on outside of the ring. It's known for taking more of what they call a "Kayfabe" approach or out of character. Sylo took the time to do an interview with Diaz via satellite.

"Welcome back everyone, now for those just tuning in we're about to go live via satellite for an interview with current UltraTitle participant and world renown wrestler Sylo. Now, as some of you know, we hold no punches on this show and we'd like to advise everyone in advance that Sylo is known to be very outspoken. Here, tonight, we're going to talk to Sylo about his past, his future, the UltraTitle tournament, as well as a very hot issue in the press right now; his war of words with Marcus Davis." Diaz sits behind a large oak desk with a large HD Television close by. The screen splits, on the left is Diaz and on the right is Sylo, sitting in what is obviously a gym.

"Sylo thank you for coming on," Diaz smiles.

"No problem. I think after that press conference I couldn't exactly just sit by, could I?" Sylo replies, a touch of apathy in his voice.

"So, I'll get right down to it. You challenged Marcus Davis to a MMA match. His response was no and that he was willing to counter offer with a wrestling match and even put up the title he holds. Some people thought maybe his legal advisors and agent came across as threatening. The word "legal options" was used as well. Your thoughts?"

Sylo chuckles a bit.

"Honestly? We both have grounds for a legal battle here but those get messy and eventually we end up spending all our time in court. The fact that they would even hint at the possiblity that I released that phone call, which no I didn't, to the public is considered slander. I've been advised legally and I want to make it clear I do not wish to peruse any legal action as well, that's not how I handle things, and believe it to be a cowards way out. That's just my opinion. His people went as far as to say that my people were unprofessional I believe it was but honestly Roger, all they did was read a statement that I made. Those words came from my mouth. They were a middle man while I was busy signing papers and training. So whether or not they want to take action against Marcus Davis and his representatives is up to them but has nothing to do with me. As far as the fight goes, simply put, it makes more sense. I don't like Davis and Davis shouldn't like me at this point. My option was to settle things like men, instead I get the response of a wrestling match. Let's be honest here, matches are scripted, we're entertainers, otherwise you'd have someone getting hurt every match, possibly killed, so the thought of a match? That's cute. I'm going to walk into Japan and be told what spots to do and how to do it with a man that doesn't like me and vice versa. Then, to protect their best interests, they're going to demand Marcus win to keep the title in house. I've seen it happen a thousand times."

Sylo leans back in his chair, still calm.

"Well it's common knowledge you've trained in MMA for years and Marcus is also a highly trained fighter. What about the weight difference though? Also, you actually have a professional record where as, as far as we know, Marcus Davis does not."

"Yes, I am trained. I was a two time Division 1A Wrestling Champion and went undefeated my sophomore year. I've almost reached a black-belt status in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, I've trained in ground and pound, striking, and I've had some of the best trainers in the world. In the MMA world, Karate isn't something you see be very successful but you never know. The fact of the matter is, in the wrestling world David can slay Goliath, but at the same time I've seen it happen in places like PRIDE over in Japan when they were still open. I've seen it happen in the K1 tournament. So the fact that I have a size advantage means nothing with the right planning. Yes, I have a professional record and as of right now I'm unbeaten but in that world, you earn being unbeaten. My proposal wasn't about money, in fact, I would believe Marcus and myself both have enough to last us a few life times, and would rather see all proceeds go to charity."

"Very interesting. So, Dawn Cassidy has become wrapped up in this as well. What are your thoughts?"

"I've known Dawn a very long time. Now, she could be telling Marcus one thing and me another, that's possible, you never know but it doesn't seem likely. Marcus threw numbers out via twitter, just because he didn't address me directly, you can read the message and clearly see that was a shot fired by him. The numbers I gave him came directly from the Nelson's ratings for those two weeks. Obviously, Mr. Davis isn't aware with how number work on television, I'm not sure. Everything I do is for a reason. I went at Marcus and what happened? The UltraTitle gets more press, he gets more press, and anything either one of us is involved with gets more press. I've boosted things across the board and the allegation that I'm "seeking attention" is preposterous seeing as how I can't walk down the street without almost getting mugged by fans no matter what country I'm in. Also, I'll have more on this later as I plan on attending a press conference I've been asked to do. See, I'm a busy man but still find time to show up."

"Sylo, we have to take a quick commercial break but I'd like to speak to you a little more when we come back, if that's alright?"

"Yep"

"This is Late Night Rope Break! and we'll be right back!"

Before the Press

*The following took place off camera earlier in the day of the press conference*

Marcus’ Agent Amanda Mancini, Publicist Danielle Lira, and one of his legal advisors Ashley Hawkins sit around an open cell phone in a hotel room.

Amanda: We known it’s late there Marcus, but we needed to go over this contract Sylo’s representatives sent to Fortune and Kusumoto Firm…

Ashley: Did you receive the copy I sent you?

From the cell phone.

Marcus: Yes…This isn’t happening, nothing to even talk about. I’ll never compete in MMA, I’d love to knock Sylo’s head off…just inside of a wrestling ring…So this won’t happen…Not on his life…

Ashley: Alright, but I have to ask about Dawn Cassidy. What is your relationship with her?

Marcus: Ladies I have to get back to film soon…but as far as Dawn, met her two years ago in New York…bought her a few drinks at a bar..and we stayed in touch. Nothing more or less, Sylo is blowing hot air and like I said..wants attention. Melton is far more important to me at this point…

Danielle: What do you want me to say to the press Marcus?

Marcus: I trust all of you to handle it, you have the Fussa home to do whatever you want with. If Sylo really wants something..Amanda you talk to the NJWF people and the Burning Honor Committee, they may be willing to give Sylo a BHC Heavyweight Championship match on July 1[SUP]st[/SUP]. Other than that, I don’t know what to tell him.

Amanda: Alright Marcus, we’ll definitely take care of it. Get back to work…

Marcus: Thank you ladies…

All of the ladies: Bye.

Marcus hangs up and Amanda picks up the phone.

Amanda: Looks like we have a lot of work to do today.

Ashley: We all should prepare some statements, just to answer as many questions as possible.

Danielle: Agreed…

Fade.
