Aho vs. The Pros

*guilty of skimming the card and reading my own match thus far*

Just a couple of quick suggestions on the Aho vs. Pros match...

- My personal phonetic pronunciation of Aho is AY-ho. "AY" as in bay, hay or way. "ho" like mow, row or dough.
- At this point I don't think Aho would be taping his shoulder, but a nice touch to play up the injury.
- JJ DeVille's crane kick must be devastating at this point to put the Pros out because it seemed like they were rallying at the juncture he came in.
- Blackmon and Snow? ;)

All in all the writing was fantastic. Very true to character for Evan and The Pros (IMHO). I'm guessing this was Double G's work. :) More thoughts on the rest of the card to come.

Looks good.

It was Mayfield that ate the crane kick, right? ;)

So are any relatives of Carl Young available for the BOB ME?

LOL... haven't you noticed that Patrick Young is the senior ref these days?

Nice, get the paramedics ready.

You realize the sad thing is, I think there are only two of you around that were actually there for Carl Young's apparent demise. Or maybe that's a good thing....

Thought the card was great.

Just wanted to clear up what appeared to have been a minor glitch in the Storm-Tsunami matchup.

At the end when Storm and J Bishop were working over Tsunami and Tsunami's mask came off and a comment was made of disfigurement... it was Bishop who's mask came off and showed the disfigurement, not Tsunami's. At least that was the intent. Tsunami isn't disfigured, to the best of my knowledge. Though, as was mentioned, we've never seen him without his mask so who knows :)

At any rate, probably just something I didn't make clear originally.

Other than that, I thought the card was great.

I read that in the match and wasn't sure what was going on with the mask. I decided, though, that I kind of like Tsunami disfigured. I'm going to build off it and use it. I've REALLY wanted to start making Tsunami a primary guy in my stable again but haven't really been able to figure out a good way to use him. But something just clicked in my brain after the sneak attack. Of course, you'll have to wait and see for all of it. :)

My favorite thing at On Time was the formation of the <> Cutters. Great angle. A really good card all around. The Aho/JJ angle was an idea I had a while back that I finally got to use. I just marked out that someone actually wanted to see WildStar and Tsunami reunite.

Anyways, you made mention of a J Bishop/WildStar feud in the past. This either a) escapes my memory or b) happened before I took over using WildStar. Can you fill me in on the details so we can play off that?

LOL...completely my fault for reading the angle wrong. I thought that maybe there was some Tsunami/Wildstar/<> Cutters stuff from long ago in other leagues that I didn't remember. Hope I didn't screw anything up completely.

Gregg,

Wildstar and J. Bishop never had an official feud. The way it worked out (and perhaps JN can verify this if I'm right or wrong), Bishop was supposed to have a match with Wildstar in the UWA and he ended up getting a fireball in the face before the match instead. I dropped the character and Steve Masters took his place in a couple of matches with Wildstar after that.

Like I said, that's how I remember it, but it's been a while so I could be mistaken. Not sure if WS was yours at that time or not.

In any case, we can play it that way regardless if it's cool with you since neither of us remember the particulars of the event one way or the other.

Chad,

No problem that a little clarification didn't fix. Like I said, I probably just wasn't clear enough in the e-mail. No harm no foul either way.

And, you're right, it was from quite a while ago and wasn't a big deal at the time, just seemed like a good hook to bring Bishop in and start what I think could be a good series of matches.

Yeah, that's cool with me. My memory of FW history is about as good as my skills at quantum physics or parallel parking, so you could have told me that WildStar was pregnant with J Bishop's child and I would have believed you. :)

Anyways, this feud is going to be REAL fun. I've been dying to do some stuff with you for ages now.
