Well, it certainly has been quite some time since I last visited these boards or even the GXW for that matter. Nonetheless, curiosity got the better of me, so I figured I would drop on in and see how things are going. I have one word....

WOW!

Just got done reading the Battleground Britain card and it was very well put together. I haven't been following the GXW since I left, but it seems as if a cross-promotion angle is going on between various feds and I was very impressed to see that work out.

Then I take a look at the boards, its nice to see that Paul, Dave, EZ, Chad, Patrick, Joe, John, etc. are still around. Hell, you even managed to bring Jamar aboard and we all know how hard that can be :) j/k.

As I said before, its been about a year since I was last in the GXW or even involved in fantasy wrestling for that matter. I can tell you that I certainly miss it, but my life is so hectic at times, that I wouldn't be able to give it my full effort (which is what the GXW deserves).

I have about 3 months left in my first year of teaching. I love my job and for the first time, I enjoy going to work each and every day. I just finished my first full year as the junior varsity high school wrestling coach (at my old high school, which has a historical past for the sport of wrestling). My team finished with an overall record of 16-2 on the season and I was nominated for assistant coach of the year (although I didn't win :)) in my first season. I am currently dating a girl who I am crazy about and we are both discussing getting engaged. In my spare time, I am in the second year of my professional wrestling career, where I actually brought my fantasy wrestling character to life, as I currently wrestle under the name of Kendall Codine in the DCW (http://www.dcwprowrestling.com/). It is great, as I just finished working a program with both Julio Dinero and Francine (of ECW fame). Overall, it may not seem like it to most of you, but my life is hectic, but I wouldn't ask for it to be any other way.

Overall, I just wanted to stop in and say hello to the guys that I spent the better part of four years roleplaying, talking, and having a good time with in the world of fantasy wrestling. I literally haven't been on AIM or MSN in about a year, so I figured this would be the best way to get that message across. I certainly hope that I can return some day, but until that day comes, keep up the good work guys and I just wanted to let you know that I miss being apart of the GXW!!

Kent rules.

He's got a shot at the DCW TV title on April 10th.

For the DCW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP:
"The Pain Syndicate's" JOHNNY THUNDAR (C) defends against KENDALL KODINE!

"DCW mainstay Johnny Thundar had a big mouth. DCW TV CHAMPION Johnny Thundar has proven himself to be even worse, proclaiming to the world his dominance in the
TV Title division. He claims that his natural ability and know-how in the ring has already made him the best TV Champ yet. Howeverm critics say that Thundar has conveniently forgotten what got him this far: cheating, sneak-attacks, and intentional injuries to those who threaten him. Unfortunately for the champion, one man will never forget: his name is Kendall Kodine, and the young submission
specialist will always remember the severe knee injury that almost took him out of wrestling forever. He will never forget his weeks in a hospital and subsequent months in rehab. Most importantly, he will never forget that it was
an unwarranted attack by Johnny Thundar which caused this life-altering injury. On April 10th, Kendall Kodine FINALLY gets a crack at Johnny Thundar, and this
time, the DCW Television Championship will be on the line. Will Kodine be able to make Thundar tap out en route to winning his first championship? Perhaps
more importantly for him, will he exact a measure of revenge for Thundar's past transgressions, and will he even be able to concentrate on TV title at all?"

way to go, kent. we're all with you in spirit.
