I've had several questions, so thought I consolidate the answers here:

Segments: Round 3 allows participants to submit a card segment to be judged. Segments are due by the roleplay deadline and should be private messaged on the boards to three people: usernames Chad, Ford and User Poets. I will post the segments backstage by bracket for the judges to review. These are segments, not match "strats" (run-ins, etc.) or angles. Use your imagination -- they can be pre- or post-match, although I reserve the right to include those on the card that "make sense" for the results. If your segments isn't used, that doesn't mean it wasn't considered. I know that "what the judges are looking for" has been a discussion in certain circles -- in this case we haven't discussed it or put guidelines on it. We're looking for creativity, for a segment that makes sense in the context of the card itself (although it can be on- or off-camera), etc.

Stacking: There is still no "stacking" rule in effect. You may use your three roleplays and the 7-8 days you've been allotted however you wish. However, realize that the judges will take that into account as well, so if you hold off and post three roleplays before the deadline, you may not be judged kindly. From the first two rounds, it appears that some judges have given some consideration to who goes first/last when they look at the overall quality and focus of rps.

No-shows/Quitters: I haven't received any messages personally advising me that someone's schedule conflicts or that they are pulling out of the tournament. There are no further "Lucky Loser" slots at this point, so I would hope that all 32 participants are willing and able to jump in and participate. If scheduling becomes an issue, as I'm sure it will given we've entered vacation season for many, I'd suggest posting a note or sending a PM and I'll do my best to let you know what the schedule looks like moving forward. As in the first two rounds, the idea is to do a week of roleplay, then a week for the card to get written and posted, with the next round's roleplay starting almost immediately after that.

Judges: The judging pool hasn't changed. All 11 judges are still in and have been assigned to brackets by me based on their availability and whether they still have a character in the tournament. After this round, any judges that still have characters in will no longer be able to judge, although they will hopefully still engage as writers so we can keep things moving.

Anything else I've missed? Thanks!

Do these card segments count in RP judging or are they just for fund?

And do they count as a RP?

Segments are judged. If participants opt to submit a joint segment, then I would imagine we'd call that a 'draw' and just judge the posted rps.

I didn't mean segments with our opponents.

I meant in general.

Don't matter, I got what I need, and something in mind.

Thankee-sai.
