As an addendum to this, due to some unforeseen circumstances, the DEFIANCE showcase match between "Cool" Cancer Jiles and Bronson Box will have a different deadling for roleplay.

This deadline will be exactly one week after the latest DEFIANCE show is posted. I expect that to be tonight, so in that case, the deadline for this match will be Wednesday, February 20th at 11:59PM CENTRAL.

That is all.

I take that back, it doesn't work for me. I know the "work's been crazy" excuse is kind of generic at this point, but I literally have not had time to sit and down and write all week. Won't even have time to write tomorrow, as I've got to be at work an hour early for the second straight day, and will be at work-related even until 8:30. Considering my commute is an hour and 20 minutes, well...you do the math. Friday is also a late day for me, but I usually stay up way late writing all kinds of shit, so I figure by Friday/Saturday I'll have an RP to match you at two, Brunk.

If you want to call it a "wait til Billy makes the thread even" deadline, I'm cool with that. If you want to be able to reply to whatever I post, that's fine too. But I'm not cool with leaving it as-is because of an arbitrary deadline. The great thing about this event is that it's a one-off, so what are we really holding up? None of this shit's going to be written by the weekend anyway.

The rest of you guys can hold to the current deadline, but as co-sponsor of this shindig, I'm waving the magic wand and re-opening the Strife side of the Ryan-Strife deadline until whenever the fuck I write something worth hanging up on the fridge, or Sunday...whichever comes first. Last word is yours if you want it, Brunk, whenever you have time to post. Figure next week we all start writing the card, to which I will contribute heavily in terms of opening/fanfare/segments.

If anybody has a problem with that, lick on deez nutz.

Thanks. Sorry, no sleep, and I ran into a shithead family member who brought up how I won't accept his facebook friend request. And I missed the train because of it. I don't believe in karma but GODDAMN.

Posting Monday. Thanks for your patience.

Apologized privately, but will also do so publicly. Posted my shitty roleplay after the deadline. Just been inundated with work for February Sweeps, and by the time I got to rping, it was either NFW or this showcase show, and NFW took first priority.

So feel free to publicly flog me.

No problem, it's more a matter of what worked for the people in the thread. I did the same thing lol.

Voting is done for the main event -- it came down to a tiebreaker, so it was very close.

Writing shall commence now.

Predictions anyone?

Prediction? Pain.

...as in, the pain of me writing this match, which I'm hard at work on now.

I also predict Sean Stevens will beat Impulse, steal the NFW title, and defend it against JTP and Hornet in EPW. Stevens will retain, but Dan Ryan will come out and Hulk Hogan it off of him. Then Castor will Hulk Hogan it off of HIM, take it back to NFW, and lose it again to Impulse.

Dude. Seriously. We godbooked it for a reason, and that reason was not for you to tell everyone. Now I have to come up with a plan B.
