I'd be inclined to wait on giving my feedback, but I won't have a chance for the next few days, so looks like the time is now.
MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Taking nothing away from the main event, I really enjoyed the Intercontinental Title match. And if you've read the card, you'll know why my saying that isn't shameless self-promotion. Impulse and Larry Tact are a couple of guys whose styles I thought would mesh really well together (this is part of the reason I wanted to write that match), and Pete certainly didn't disappoint.
SEGMENT OF THE NIGHT: All of the random figures from EPW's past showing off to throw Kenny Lombardo off the trail was a surreal kind of funny, or a funny kind of surreal. I can't decide which.
BEST FACE: Tough call. Anarky is an easy choice, considering all he went through in the main event, but the confusion of the finish and the heavy focus on the Dis reveal kind of took away from the conquering babyface vibe Anarky had going on. On the other hand, Animezing Dragons pulled out a huge win, overcoming some very capable competition, and I love them as babyfaces, but the momentousness of their match doesn't compare to the main event. I suppose I have to give this one to Anarky, but only by a hair.
BEST HEEL: Can't be anyone other than Dis. It just can't. He even overshadowed Stalker -- not an easy feat, as Stalker has really been out-heeling everyone lately, but the reveal of who Dis actually is puts him over the top.
BEST MOMENT: Even with the goofy match-is-over-no-it's-not false finish preceding it, this has to be the Dis reveal. Though I suspect that, were I just a fan in attendance, I would have marked the hell out for the return of the Dangle Brothers -- assuming they actually stick around this time.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: This really seemed like a marathon PPV, with a decent supply of matches and a lot of backstage segments tying them together. Not a complaint, but kind of funny, because it follows Wrestleverse IV, which had fewer matches and almost no segments, but is ostensibly the bigger PPV. All of the matches, even the opener, were really well written, and the ongoing Dis narrative was engaging. It's nice to see some familiar faces returning to EPW roster; my biggest concern in what I did with Copycat was leaving a gap in the roster, and it looks like that won't be a problem after all. I find myself really interested to see where things go moving forward with the World Heavyweight Title.
