I'd be inclined to wait on giving my feedback, but I won't have a chance for the next few days, so looks like the time is now.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Taking nothing away from the main event, I really enjoyed the Intercontinental Title match. And if you've read the card, you'll know why my saying that isn't shameless self-promotion. Impulse and Larry Tact are a couple of guys whose styles I thought would mesh really well together (this is part of the reason I wanted to write that match), and Pete certainly didn't disappoint.

SEGMENT OF THE NIGHT: All of the random figures from EPW's past showing off to throw Kenny Lombardo off the trail was a surreal kind of funny, or a funny kind of surreal. I can't decide which.

BEST FACE: Tough call. Anarky is an easy choice, considering all he went through in the main event, but the confusion of the finish and the heavy focus on the Dis reveal kind of took away from the conquering babyface vibe Anarky had going on. On the other hand, Animezing Dragons pulled out a huge win, overcoming some very capable competition, and I love them as babyfaces, but the momentousness of their match doesn't compare to the main event. I suppose I have to give this one to Anarky, but only by a hair.

BEST HEEL: Can't be anyone other than Dis. It just can't. He even overshadowed Stalker -- not an easy feat, as Stalker has really been out-heeling everyone lately, but the reveal of who Dis actually is puts him over the top.

BEST MOMENT: Even with the goofy match-is-over-no-it's-not false finish preceding it, this has to be the Dis reveal. Though I suspect that, were I just a fan in attendance, I would have marked the hell out for the return of the Dangle Brothers -- assuming they actually stick around this time.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: This really seemed like a marathon PPV, with a decent supply of matches and a lot of backstage segments tying them together. Not a complaint, but kind of funny, because it follows Wrestleverse IV, which had fewer matches and almost no segments, but is ostensibly the bigger PPV. All of the matches, even the opener, were really well written, and the ongoing Dis narrative was engaging. It's nice to see some familiar faces returning to EPW roster; my biggest concern in what I did with Copycat was leaving a gap in the roster, and it looks like that won't be a problem after all. I find myself really interested to see where things go moving forward with the World Heavyweight Title.

Interesting to point this out because I said something similar about the CSWA a while ago - Anniversary was the big show of the year but Fish Fund always had the memorable moments.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Excluding my match, but Pete wrote a great wrestling bout and I enjoyed it the entire way. Like Garth said, Impulse and Tact's styles play well off of one another, and Copycat added some shock value to boot. However, the Main Event was a solid cap on the ongoing Anarky/Dis storyline. I was skeptical whether the payoff would be worth all the build, but it came together nicely. There are also sensible open roads as to where it can go from here. Can't ask for more than that.

SEGMENT OF THE NIGHT: There were only a few, but I thought it was cool having Kenny watching as some of EPW's past talents arrived. I don't see Dis convincing them all to show up, but I can believe they would come by for the show, as EPW fans. That's something that isn't highlighted too often on shows, and it worked well here.

BEST FACE: I thought with Animezing Dragons being dealt Brown's injury; learning of an entirely new element of the match at bell time; and finding a way to fight through their tactics was a great story, so I'll give it to them. Anarky obviously had a solid build to his match, but the way the payoffs of each match unfolded, I'd give it to Animezing Dragons here.

BEST HEEL: Dis. I liked how different matches throughout the card played into the top storyline, because other events made you think twice about what was actually going on. The match only helped generate more heat on Dis, and then the reveal pulled it together.

BEST MOMENT: Going with the Dis reveal, but Stalker dumping Ryan was pretty close.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: All the matches had a good to great storyline backing them up, going in-- whether through build over the weeks, or the match RP. Stalker Vs Dan Ryan was inventive from the start, and I thought it delivered. Unfortunately, it felt a little lost in the shuffle, but that may have been inevitable. It shouldn't be overlooked, though; the match accomplished everything it needed to do. I want to see what happens with Stalker as much as any other storyline going. It's like, "Can this out-and-out SOB really make it??" You don't want to root for him, but it's compelling to see his rise. Good stuff there.

The returns/twists will make things even more interesting and heated around EPW. I'm looking forward to the fresh cycle, and seeing where things stand come the next PPV. It seemed like the RPers and writers all turned things up a level this show.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: The main event, for all of the angles (and all of the history callbacks - I love those) that came together for a really good blowoff/resolution between Anarky, Dis, and everyone affiliated. I think this had the ultimate goal for a main event fulfilled - it blew off the main feud but it also spiraled out so that the two participants can go literally ANYWHERE at this point.

Also, the Intercontinental Title match was pretty well written. :)

SEGMENT OF THE NIGHT: Kenny Lombardo's quest. Can't pick just one part.

BEST FACE: Dis. Who knew?

BEST HEEL: Stalker, by far.

BEST MOMENT: At the risk of sounding self - serving, only one title didn't change hands.... :)

OVERALL THOUGHTS: I remember saying to myself that the only person I could think of who wouldn't be a total disappointment as Dis would be Rocko Daymon - and I also said that to anyone that asked me my opinion. Dis was talking about being a former Champion and my thought was always (in character, at least) "If you're a former Champion you're a main eventer, therefore you don't need a Dis mask to get a title shot, but Rocko was injured right after he won the belt and never got to defend it so he'd have cause and hatred for Stalker." OOC I was just prepared for a letdown because of the likelihood of who it was going to end up being.

I never thought that Dis would be who it was (still unspoiled in case people read this before reading the show. If you're one of those people you're dumb.), and honestly, it was certainly not a letdown. Personally I'd love to hear more about the ideas, origins, and motives of both the character and the handler in the coming days.

And from the main event spawned backwards a really great show that flowed exceedingly well, in my opinion. We're all awesome.

I don’t know that I can really give a traditional feedback for this card, so really I’m just going to tell everyone the story of how this all came to be. After being burnt out and taking some time out of EPW Dave and I had a talk and I’d had the thought in my head of having First come back as Dis. Then at some point in the conversation Dave said to me “What about First coming back but having his identity not known for a few shows.” And when he said that, I really felt like doing the Dis angle would be the proper return for the character and he liked it.

I was card writing at the time for EPW (If you read Dis Vs Sonic Titan you’ll see I wrote that match in a different style to try to prevent people from seeing it was me.) and I figured that if I kept match writing without having First in EPW that people would start to think something was up with Dis returning and me match writing but not having a character in the company, so I decided to bring First back so he could hide in plain sight as it were. I must say the dynamics between First and Eddie were never planned and that whole storyline took on a life of its own.

Writing those bullet points and trying to do good Rp’s was hard, Dis was literally the toughest character I’ve ever Rp’ed. There were times when I’d want to say something (Like referencing Impulse’s broken neck from his NFW matches) but I’d have to stop myself cause I didn’t want to be clearly so active that a handler who wasn’t so active wouldn’t know those things and wouldn’t say them. Being solid while not giving myself up was really important to me.

And not giving myself up was really hard with Justin (Stalker, not Mahogany.) coming after me all the time trying to get me to cough up the goods, oh the deflections and spinning I had to do to try to get him off the track of it being me. He nearly broke me into confessing a few times, but Brunk, Ryan Aston and Billy (They all knew from the start) kept me from caving.

I never planned on winning the tag belts either, I broke out the Dis Wheel after re-reading older stuff and was going to use that as the plot device to get First out of his match at the PPV, (Dis was going to randomly attack First before his match due to the wheel) and First was supposed to fight Winters at the PPV, but everything kept shifting around so I adjusted as best I could to keep things moving. I really didn’t want a second PPV in a row where the tag titles were defended by one person against two, so having Winters sub for First after Eddie’s antics was the best thing I could think of and I hope it came off well.

I put some stuff in the matches First wrestled during the Dis angle as tip offs. The match where they win the tag titles, First really sandbags Eddie and does little to win the match cause he doesn’t want the belts, and is horrified when they do win them. And the ending scene of Aggression 63 was a call back to the ending after KotC when Anarky beat Winters. There were some other things I dropped in, Brunk told me not to do a promo in Bullet Points where the first letters of the Bullet Points would spell out “I AM THE FIRST” cause it would be to cheesy, so I didn’t do that.

Since I’m rambling here I’ll just end by saying this, the fact that everyone who’s done feedback up to this point not revealing who Dis is and leaving it up to people to read the card just blows me away. I feel like EPW is a collection of handlers who care about the storylines and like seeing a well told story. I’m honored to be champion and I hope to work with folks to continue to progress storylines and ideas and keep the story of EPW an engaging one that keeps everyone active and interested.

Overall a really good show, everybody did a terrific job with matchwriting as always. The turnaround time was pretty good, especially for a show of this magnitude. The angles all paid off and you got some really great storylines resolves and matches finished, which is all you can really hope for in a PPV.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Leaving my own match out of it (which was impressively written and well done), I'd say the IC title match was pretty great. It gave a great sense of pacing and I though it told a story through the narrative of the match, which I really liked.

SEGMENT OF THE NIGHT: What can I say, all the Dis stuff was great. Lombardo trying to chase down Dis was especially humorous and enjoyable, and the execution at the end was perfect.

BEST FACE: Hmmm... hard to say. Impulse was good as always, as were the Animezing Dragons. I also enjoyed Tact giving the handshake at the end of the IC match. They can all share it.

BEST HEEL: Dis, and I don't think it's that close. Though Winters cut a nice heel mic spot.

BEST MOMENT: The Dis reveal was pretty impressive. I won't lie, it stung a little. But hats off to Dis for the angle, it was all really well executed and impressive and probably should've seen it coming. As Pete noted, it'd be tough to make the angle work, really, but I think in the long run it did.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Another great PPV in the books, and it once again seems like we are having another surge of talent in Empire Pro. Should be interesting to see where the storylines go from here, though things do seem very heel-heavy at the moment.

Should be interesting to see how the next PPV cycle develops.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: I enjoyed writing the Stalker/Dan Ryan match very much. But excluding that one I'd have to say the main event with the IC title being a close second.

SEGMENT OF THE NIGHT: Everything Lombardo did.

BEST FACE: No one stood out that well in the face category. If I was forced to choose it would be the Animezing Dragons.

BEST HEEL: Absolutely and positively Dis. Even after reading the promo explaining why, it doesn't justify anything Dis did... in fact it absolutely can't. Having Dis do anything more then a tweener role would be an injustice to everyone who had to respond to Dis. The man behind the mask needs to evil... bottom line.

BEST MOMENT: Obviously the Dis reveal. I mean good lord, I have never seen, personally, a more talked about angle. Dis's handler and I had multiple conversations about who Dis was but he kept it cool and I got to give him props for it.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:Wow? I mean.. how much more can I say about Russian Roulette 2012? With where my character is at right now in EPW, the Dis reveal meant even that much more.

Obviously I called him out in a few in character rps, because he was my main suspect. But in the end it was so well planned, so well thought out, with so many twists and turns.

Best way to start off 2012. EPW is going to be in for a hell of a ride and I can honestly say that I am going to do my best to keep Stalker as fresh and exciting to read about as possible. It may mean drastic changes, or it may mean elevating his game. Regardless though, EPW is where it's at, everyone here is amazing and I can not wait to see the paths that Anarky takes, Impulse's rise, Rich Mahogany's c*ck size, Adrian Willard, Larry Tact, Animezing Dragons, The First, Eddie Burns, Layne Winters...

Keep it going guys.

P.S. Siegel you can dangle on my nuts whenever you wish... just gotta let me know bro.
