The show is up. It was a helluva long show, so set aside some time - OR - do it over a few days. Lots going on in the show so make sure you check it all out.

You can access the show in the EPW Information forums or by clicking this here link right hurrr.

I'll give everyone a few days to process the show, then we'll get Aggression 48 going.

Leave feedback!!

FACE OF THE NIGHT: Stevens in victory, Westscott in defeat, Fuse in killing Stalker, HOPE forming to fight Anthology… Whole company was facetastic.

HEEL OF THE NIGHT: I’d guess I’d split it between Wells/Tact for weathering the storm and holding the tag belts and Stalker for just being unmitigated scum.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Main event

MOMENT OF THE NIGHT: HOPE reveal, I’m bias as hell cause I worked so long with everyone in the group to do this, so it was really big to me. Post match Stevens/Westscott was also deluxe.

LINE OF THE NIGHT: The Stalker/Fuse resolution/Anarky’s HOPE speech.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: I thought the PPV was really huge, and now we’ll see the fallout from everything that happened with HOPE and Anthology and Stevens. It just feels epic, like a big event, and now we’ll see what those events will trigger in the rest of EPW.

What is HOPE? Is that like an angle or something?

...

Yeah, I only had to hear about HOPE for the last 5-6 months! Seriously, we've had this planned for almost that long. Sweet, sweet payoff. If you want a laugh, go back and read the First/Winters RP thread from Agg 47, cause we spent the whole time making inside jokes about HOPE. How you people never figured us out is beyond me!

HEEL OF THE NIGHT: Has to be Stalker. I felt like the heels weren't really all that heelish on this card. Winters has gone from a heel to a crusading tweener in a matter of three cards, and Westcott/Stevens shaking hands brought a damn tear to my eye. This night was all about tying up loose ends, except for HOPE which opens a whole new dimension, sorta.

MOMENT OF THE NIGHT: HOPE reveal. Yes, we're self-shilling wh0res, but damn it...we've had this bullet in the chamber for a while now.

LINE OF THE NIGHT: "He's kind of like the other Beast, before he changed his name"-Neely, in reference to Bruce "The Beast" Richards.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Gotta be the main event. We don't call it a "Straw-epic" for nothing. Seriously, very few people can write a main event like Strawsma can. As for the TV title match, I LOVED it, probably the best ladder match I've ever read. With that said though Straw, I do have one small bone to pick: Layne Winters would NEVER, EVER turn away from the prize to save Pamela. That's just not in the man's DNA. However, I thought of a neat way to work that into a storyline RP, so I'll cut you some slack. :D

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Dare I say better than Wrestleverse III? First off, I wanna say that Jamar and Jarrett worked their asses off in the main event thread, and both brought their A Game. They deserved the awesome match that was written for them, and it's an immediate candidate for Match of the Year.

This was such an important card for the league, because it smoothly transitioned the past year of storylines/feuds into the next phase. Now we have new material to get excited about, and HOPE is only gonna be the beginning. Everybody should be looking to take their characters to the next level in terms of development.

Bottom line: I really like the direction this league is headed in right now.

I'm hoping to get to the blog sometime soon and do a review. That said, I'll have to read the show again and it took me forever the first time.

FACE OF THE NIGHT: Shawn Hart, who's very deserving of the IC title win. This was a fun read too.

HEEL OF THE NIGHT: You gotta go with The Blue-Eyed Badass here, who's cementing a hall of fame worthy EPW career.

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: Strawsma never ceases to amaze me. Just when you think you've read the best the man has to offer, he tops it at the next PPV. I especially loved Triple X landing all the finishers of World Champions he's defeated in the past.

MOMENT OF THE NIGHT: HOPE is obviously a big deal and if there's going to be any continuation on the Dog/Ryan angle, Anthology really has their hands full.

LINE OF THE NIGHT: It's a little more than a line, but I really liked the Anthology history recap. Nice touch.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: It's the end of a feud that lasted over a year between Stalker and Fuse. I loved working with Justin and recommend it to anyone.

FACE OF THE NIGHT: Oddly enough, I guess Shawn Hart. There were bigger wins, perhaps, but none with the same feeling of justice.

HEEL OF THE NIGHT: I'd like to say Sean Stevens, but at this point, he's entered a state beyond heel or face, so I'll give the honorary nod to

MATCH OF THE NIGHT: What can I say about Westcott/Stevens that hasn't been said. Great, great match. Epic in feel and scope. Hart/Cruise also a very good match and enjoyable read.

MOMENT OF THE NIGHT: HOPE reveal, I’m bias as hell cause I worked so long with everyone in the group to do this, so it was really big to me. Post match Stevens/Westscott was also deluxe.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Awesome card from start to finish. Almost every match had a lot of intensity and it was good to see storylines actually develop and move forward. Whether it's the end of the Fuse/Stalker saga, the grueling continuing of Anthology's tag team dominance, Stevens' unbeatibility, or HOPE's reveal, everything moved forward in an interesting and compelling way, and I think the stories moving forward have potential to get even better. Kudos to all involved.
