Here are the results of the Saginaw House Card in extreme short form. (Jason Camp was supposed to write this but pulled another vanishing act so I have been forced to write it). This show took place before a sellout crowd at the Wendler Arena.

JAROD POE vs. "LOST CAUSE" CHRIS O'NEILL

Poe came into this match salivating at the thought of finally getting his chance at the Masked Blazer in the ring at Massive Assault 2002, so he may have been distracted here as O'Neill used his mouth and his speed to throw Poe off his game. Poe was clearly frustrated at not being able to put O'Neill away at severl points, as O'Neill kept giving himself new life. The match escalated to violence as both men decided to use every piece of ringside furniture on each other, thus drawing a double disqualification.

WINNER: Double DQ at 9:36

"STUPENDOUS" STEPHEN MORGAN vs. CAMERON CRUISE

This match turned out to be quite a technical display as both of the gifted athletes displayed their wares for the crowd. Several reversal exchanges and chain wrestling moves were used to wear each other down. Later in the match, Morgan began to use cheating tactics, which frustrated Cruise, who questioned the referee's judgment several times. At the end, after a small package reversal sequence by both men, Morgan kicked Cruise in the gut and hit his snap cradle pildriver to secure the victory.

WINNER: "Stupendous" Stephen Morgan at 8:57

"SHOWTIME" STEVEN JAMES vs. JOHN SKIELER

James came into this match looking for an upset and get himself further up the ladder in GLCW for somepossible title shots. Skieler was just looking to beat someone up, and that he did. Skieler spent almost the entire match bludgeoning James with several power moves, but James managed to use his tenacity to kick out of any pinfall attempts. Anytime James managed to mount a comeback, he was beaten back down. The end came when James slipped out of a body slam attempt, went behind Skieler, pushed him off the ropes and rolled him up for the huge victory. Skieler was so angered he threw James headfirst into the ring steps after the match in a poor display of sportsmanship.

WINNER: "Showtime" Steven James at 9:51

RYCHARD ISAAC vs. JON SAVAGE

This was Isaac's debut match and he tried to make the most of it against the veteran Savage. Isaac tried to use his head during the match to outwit Savage, and it worked for a while. Savage's anger grew as the match went on, and started to focus even more instead of arguing with the referee ot jawing with the crowd. The finish came when Savage hit a jumping piledriver after blocking Isacc's backdrop attempt.

WINNER: Jon Savage at 6:58

GOLEM vs. ANGEL CASTILLO

The match started out very competitively and stayed that way the entire time. castillo was game for anything Golem threw at him, and stood up to him blow for blow. Castillo had control for a good portion of the match, until Golem ducked a clothesline and hit a sleeper slam. This prompted Sly Sterling to jump up on the apron, the first of several times during the match. Golem tried his best to ignore Srerling's shenanigans, but it became too much and Golem ended up knocking Sterling off the apron. Right after this, Golem was rolled up and almost pinned for his trouble. Golem's anger took over and he finished Castillo off with a backdrop driver.

WINNER: Golem at 12:25

MAELSTROM vs. NIKOLAI ASH

This was a long and exciting match where the tide changed several times and the crowd was at the egde of their seats the entire time. Ash stood up to Maelstrom's offense and used cheating and wits to keep the big man off his feet. After a while, the referee got smashed in the corner by an Irish whip and Maelstrom was dumped out of the ring. As Ash collected himself in the ring, Michael Manson then ran down and clobbered Maelstrom right in the face with the ring bell and then hit a German suplex on the floor. Ash then revived the ref and Maelstrom was counted out. The crowd nearly rioted in response. Manson escaped before Maelstrom could retaliate, but Ash could not, and Maelstrom slapped on the Mortal Sin until security was able to pull him off.

WINNER: Nikolai Ash by Countout at 18:31

MAIN EVENT
GLCW GREAT LAKES TITLE MATCH
CHAMPION: MICHAEL MANSON vs. THE JOBBER (TELEVISION CHAMPION)

This was another very competitve match with several tide changes and reversals. Neither man could get an advantage on the other as both men surprisingly refrained from cheating. But not for long. Near the end, Manson pulled a Masked Blazer mask out of his leather pants and put it on Jobber's face backwards. Manson beat on Jobber as the ref tried to pull it off. The ref finally got it off but the damage was done. The dazed Jobber went to nail Manson and Manson caught him in the Tourniquet Crossface and The Jobber tapped out after a minute long struggle. Maelstrom then ran out and chased Manson around the ring. Manson stopped suddenly and clobbered Maelstrom and then tried to apply the Tourniquet on the floor but Maelstrom blocked it. Maelstrom then got to his feet and started pounding on Manson. Kraven and Flatliner then ran out and a triple team ensued until Golem and Jean Rabesque ran out to even the odds and the three on three brawl raged until security, led by King Krusher, broke it up.

WINNER: Michael Manson at 16:10

Just to say.....

Nice work with the house card Scott, particularly considering the extenuating circumstances. Nice work also to Cornell, aka Nikolai Ash, in enduring Maelstrom's reality.... ;-)

Scott,

Just wanted to publically acknowledge my appreciation of you writing the house card, especially since it wasn't originally your job to write it.
