I say if type what Eddie Whisky is saying it on the forums, it is safe to use it.

If I just think it to myself and I see it used, then I get kinda creeped out.

The intent is to show who best gets their character over.

This is kind of exactly what I'm going for. My RP that I posted in the Hype Machine thread was written as a third-person narrative with some bits of inner monologue, and was def not intended as something on camera. I won't do that often, but seeing as I have a new character I figured it was important to go with what I felt was best to convey who he is.

So the answer appears to be inconclusive.

Except that cocaine can apparently be sticky. Who knew?

Fair warning: if you mention something "off-camera" that I feel like responding to, I will. Judges be damned!

I personally make it clear in my rp's what is technically "on camera" and "off camera" just because that's how I like to write but I guess it all depends on the person you are roleplaying against. Technically they are reading everything and even though something might not have been "on camera" this is fantasy wrestling and they are going to talk about things that are not "on camera" like they are god or something. I like to try and write a good story most of the time whether it is short/long or "on/off camera" but I guess the "norm" or what everyone else likes to do is different. So in conclusion just do what pleases you and if your opponent talks about it just roll with the punches so to speak.

I always assume that there is no On/Off Camera rule unless the fed specifically says that there is.

I also think there's not much need for it at this time. It's sort of a cyclical thing.

1) Everyone does nothing but trashtalk
2) Some people get bored and try to storyline
3) The sheep try to sabotage their storylines
4) The On/Off Camera Rule is enacted to slap the sheep into line
5) Everyone writes storyline, 95% of efed characters are mafia vampires
6) Some people get bored with storyline and go back to trashtalk
7) Some sheep decide to use the On/Off Camera Rule to lawyer their way into wins
8) The fedheads get sick of dealing with the lawyering and redact the On/Off Camera Rule
9) Everyone writes trashtalk, 95% of efed characters are cocky heels
10) Goto 1)

As far as I'm concerned, anything that takes place in my RPs are fair game... Regardless of if I try to make it IC/OOC; if I write it here at least... If you go looking through my RPs in ACW to try and gain knowledge for going against me, don't, because those aren't meant to be taken like these... Those are my Zombie Vampire Mafia Hitman cruising through the Valley with his Entourage roleplays, you wouldn't like them anyway... :p

So Long as the story is about wrestling, and somehow it works in the physical universe we inhabit. I'm good with it. As soon as some supernatural stuff happens. I click off.

Those roleplays are all for All-Star Championship Wrestling, not going to use that type of roleplay here. lol Plus, ACW is an angle fed, so RPs there are strictly for back story and character development outside of the shows, and aren't nearly as frequent as here.

FYI, the whole supernatural stuff was a joke. My character is a straight up pure wrestler from West Virginia, the worst we have here are inbreeds and they aren't supernatural. :p

Well, I obviously felt like ACW was worth trying out at one point. I was just stating in general.

As "ultimate" tiebreaker my feelings are:

Depending on how you use someone else's RP can be very good, very bad or meh.

I can tell you right now for myself, that it's VERY BORING to see a "trash-talker guy" mock the "narrative guy" over their stylistic preferences/POV's and vice-versa.

Be original, be entertaining or go home.

Right, because it's absolutely not VERY BORING to see the "narrative guy" no-sell the event and opponent for three-quarters of a two or three thousand word post.

Not at all.

Nope.

Bring on the Lesbian Vampires.

Did you not read the vice-versa in my statement or did you not read the vice-versa in my statement?

And I would need a better definition of "no sell the event and opponent"

No-Selling you making fun of their narrative style, I can live with. Not writing about the Ultratitle at all, I cannot.

And who's dropped a lesbian vampire RP so far? I'd like to see Warren judge that.

For the record, Warren has no problem with blood sucking d... oh, sorry, I almost went all Mark Maverick on this response.

So now that I'm officially back in my right mind (left mind is SCARY!), I can say - anyone who mentions lesbians, vampires, or cocaine in a match I'm officiating will automatically get jobbed in a run-in ending where Hornet & Mike Randalls takes them out (I'd throw in Eli for the Claimstakers reunion, but he's already in this tourney).

There, I am finished.
