Alright, gang, while we're in an RP period, I wanted to your thoughts on something Paul brought up to me and I decided to see what the fed thinks. Here's the deal:

In the interest of speeding things up, would anyone have a problem with GWE instituting short-form cards for our regular shows such as Revolution, etc., as long as our supercards (i.e. PPVs) were done long-form? I think it's a great idea, but I wanted to see what YOU GUYS think about it.

Keep in mind that this does NOT mean fewer matches or more per card. The amount of matches will remain the same. The results will just be quicker to get done. So take the poll and then voice your opinion.

Thanks!

I like the idea of short-form matches, but if we could keep angles and the such in the shows as long-form (I guess...kinda tired...kinda drunk...not sure if that makes sense).

Anyways, as long as it's top quality work, I'm for it.

my suggestion was to have a split-card -- short-form the undercard, long-form the uppercard. same length of show, match-count-wise. would just make shows easier to write and put together.

but, then again, whatever works best for the staff. it was just a friendly suggestion! :)

I'm with Bris Daddy on this one. All short-form is Onslaught stuff. Do the undercard in short-form and the money matches in long-form, and be sure to give the long-form matches to writers you can trust to finish them quickly. That worked well for SCW; it should be fine here.

I agree with Jeff and Paul...

Although if you ask me, I think we should bring back Onslaught...

Onslaught will return, but maybe not in the form everyone remembers. And, yes, I do like making cryptic statements that leave you all wondering. That's how I get you to read the card. ;)

Also, I have no problem with making the main event (and other important matches) long-form.

I'm glad this idea is being taken well. :) Keep it up, gang.

House shows, perhaps?

Maybe the return of house shows would be a good idea. Something that could go up, in which you don't have to RP for it, but it's just something done for fun. Perhaps those who write matches could take turns submitting house show reports to the GXW staff for approval, done in a style similar to what you see at PWTorch.com or WO.com.

Thoughts on that?

House shows seem like a bad idea. The idea of losing a match that neither party RPed for probably would rub some people the wrong way.
