[updated:LAST EDITED ON May-07-03 AT 06:56 PM (EST)]BRANDON JACOBS: Welcome everyone to the Gates of Hell! We are live from Atlanta, GA in front of a capacity crowd here tonight!

VIC WATERS: It may be the beginning of Spring, but tonight we have a really hot crowd.

BRANDON JACOBS: Listen Vic, you are better than my last color commentary partner, but you aren’t going to make hell jokes for the next four hours.

VIC WATERS: Oh come on, the joke was right there.

BRANDON JACOBS: We don’t need to cut any jokes tonight, we’ve got a loaded show which will setup our first PPV, Cherry Blossom Chaos held from the Mall in Washington, DC! But that is not all, we are going to do something special and bring all our wrestlers down to Washington, DC after this show for a festival, so all of the promos will be cut live from different locations in the Washington, DC area.

VIC WATERS: That should be awesome, in my lifetime I’ve had the opportunity to do a lot of traveling and there is nothing more beautiful than being in DC in the spring to see the cherry blossoms fall. The tradition of the cherry blossom festival comes from Japan, where children and adults engage in a symbolic celebration of the coming of spring. Many people when they get older don’t fully appreciate and grown numb to the natural beauty which is happening all around, plus, there are a lot of good looking babes in thin t-shirts.

BRANDON JACOBS: Just when I think you are saying something profound, you go and say something like that.

VIC WATERS: It is a gift.

BRANDON JACOBS: Laugh when you can because your boy Doc is going to go down to Richard Gideon tonight in his first title defense.

VIC WATERS: Richard Gideon pulled off the upset off a lifetime when he beat Doc, but how many wrestlers can say they have beaten Doc Silver two straight falls? There are legends which have never done that to Doc and as good as Richard Gideon is, he still has a long way to go before he is a seasoned veteran like Doc is.

BRANDON JACOBS: I think Gideon may have his number. He may be the young hot shot to finally knock Doc off his perch. But no matter who wins, the winner will have to face the winner of the Shawn Hart vs. Psycho match on PPV.

VIC WATERS: That should be a battle. I don’t have a favorite in that one. I just want to see those two do enough damage to each other so the champ doesn’t have to work so hard on the PPV.

BRANDON JACOBS: Should be a great match, we also have two matches going on to see who will be next in line for the North American Title shot between two tag partners in Bradford & Starr and two newfound enemies in Luster & Andre Elian.

VIC WATERS: What I really love about the WFW is that every match happens for a reason, on so many shows, you don’t even know why two guys are fighting. These four are squaring off just for the chance to face the North American Title at the PPV. That shows you much that belt around Manson’s… err… Rat Fink’s waist means.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson will get his title back, and he will finally get his ten pounds of flesh when he rips into Rat Fink for what he has done to him.

VIC WATERS: You really think Manson will get his revenge against Rat Fink? Rat Fink is quite a devious fellow, knowing him, he will try to stay out of the ring as much as possible to keep Manson from even having a chance to get his hands on him. I really dig this ultimate jeopardy match, each guy has his own reason for getting the fall, but it is mutual beneficial to both members of the team to get the win.

BRANDON JACOBS: Wait, what happens if Rat Fink pins Manson? How does that help Scotty Michaels?

VIC WATERS: Although it wasn’t clearly spelled out by management, if Rat Fink wins the match and beats Manson at the PPV, The Viewer’s Choice Scotty Michaels will still be the first one to challenge Rat Fink for his title because he has the #1 Contender spot and Michaels will have a match against Manson’s partner Diablo at the PPV.

BRANDON JACOBS: Makes sense, what are you hoping for?

VIC WATERS: I’m pulling for Rat Fink to win, just so I can see Rat Fink pull Manson deeper down into hell.

BRANDON JACOBS: I kind of would like to see the young Diablo win, Manson would get his title back and Diablo and Manson could face off in a match of Diablo’s choosing and Diablo has a rather devious mind. He is likely to pick something really evil.

VIC WATERS: I really have no idea how that match will go, it should be interesting. We could wind up with a three way ladder match if Scotty Michaels wins and with those three involved; it could be a five star affair.

BRANDON JACOBS: Or… the worst fear to any Doc Silver fan, Manson gets the pin and he gets to face anyone of his choosing

VIC WATERS: Doc Silver vs. Manson, you can’t get a bigger match than that, but I’m sorry to tell you, Manson isn’t going to win this match. Manson is going to have to get down on his knees and beg Doc for a chance face him again.

BRANDON JACOBS: Manson doesn’t beg anyone. Doc is dead man walking until Manson claims the World Finest Wrestling Heavyweight Title. He better watch his back.

VIC WATERS: We haven’t even talked about our first match here tonight. We have a newcomer by the name of “The Wolf” Chris McMillian who has torn it up in NFW over the last year or so.

BRANDON JACOBS: This kid isn’t the biggest on the block, but when it comes to heart, few can compare. I’m really excited to have him here in WFW where we can watch him on a regular basis.

VIC WATERS: He is no Doc Silver, but who is. I’ve seen a couple of matches from this McMillan kid and boy can he fight. It should be fun to see how he does against Aitsu Sugawara in his debut here tonight.

BRANDON JACOBS: Time is a wasting, let’s cut all the chit chat and get things started, but before we go to ringside for the debut of the “The Wolf” Chris McMillan, we need to give the advertisers their money’s worth and go to our first commercial break! We will see you on the other side with our first match of the night!
