. . . And So Another Gregg Gethard Sociology Experiment Concludes. . . (link)

Many bothans died to bring us this information.

HEARTY SALUTES: Eli Flair, Mike Manson, writing matches on little sobriety

THANK YOU's:

To anyone that wrote a match, wrote a segment, wrote feedback and wrote an RP in this fed during Season 2.

Last season, I had a more personalized thank you note at the end of the show, but this season with the amount of people and names I'd have to REMEMBER . . . someone would've been pissed. There's alot of veterans and alot of new faces that are still lurking, participating and reading what they can, when they can. That's what makes the fed go-round, and we thank everyone for it.

FEEDBACK:

Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Big ups to Nova for taking home the big one. He definitely deserved it.

HELLO!?!? SPOILER ALERT! :p

In all seriousness, this was a very hard match to judge cause of the admiration I have for both handlers and the characters that make me laugh out very loudly, while reading. The monstrosity wouldn't have been possible without all the wonderful, crazy work written by you both leading up to the event.

Of course, now there's going to a thesis paper due on my desk Friday morning about it all!

I won't even humor you to say that I read the card, but congrats on the work that went in. And to Yori and Nova who earned it.

I think it's cute how Ivy says, "this is the end."

Righhhht! :p

Great column Sir Pete. We all go. We all will, or have, moved on. If Flair is no more, thanks for the good reading. You da man. ;)

The NFW is the only place where, after reading the results, I feel like I was on an acid trip. And I've never done acid.

I feel like I've either saved you from something, or started something much worse.

The wrong side of the bong slide.
Big ups to Nova for taking home the big one. He definitely deserved it.

Thanks! And then another 'thanks' for inspiring the Dildoniite storyline I ran with the characters Katz threw at me. Yori was the ideal opponent from the East for Nova to match up against.

I finally finished the show (well, I didn't read all of the TV Title Battle Royal), which is why I've avoided any feedback until now. But here are some thoughts:

"One Down...One to Go" was a great compilation opener to get everyone, fan or roster member, into the spirit of the evening. NFW's history has always been a huge selling point in storylines, so milk it for every pop it's worth.

I dug the Adler involvement with Miles and Mayfield. In the Western Conference over the course of the season Adler was always a front-runner, both in Midnight Madness show-to-show storylines and in the ring competitively, so it's good that he was a solid part of Night Two even without competing. The PROFESSIONALS promo was golden as well...and the introduction of another tag team? Sweet Jesus, the division's bursting at the seams. I'm still not sure if the PROS will be active in the division or not. That would own.

Goodnight to Eli Flair, since I believe this actually was his last performance. Hell of a character, and I was glad to involve Nova with him on some small level.

Another "so long" to the character of Michael Manson, who McNichols retired at this show. I didn't follow a massive amount of the Eastern Conference storylines and RPs, but what I read from Manson I was really impressed with, and the character's been an essential part of the NFW's foundation as a leader and major titleholder, so...uh, you just ride off into the neon cocaine urban industrial flamescape in the Astral Plane, sir!

Big, big ups to Lindz and Don for KVC/Troy. It could have been lukewarm as hell, but instead I was floored the whole time reading, rooting for Troy to get up and for KVC to go to hell like the seriously whacked-out sonuvab*tch that he is. No announcers tripped me up at first, but the way they told the story made me forget about the absence of our precious O'Connor and Woodman in no time.

While on the subject of "big ups" I fling a special nod in Dove's direction for Hiroshi's first successful defense only one e-day after winning the strap, and also for writing Manson/Melton, which I thought was damned entertaining.

Finally, Katz, you are beyond mad for the ULTRATITLE final and everything it stands for. May your bowl be ever green, your guitar strings ever tuned, and hood rats ever ready to polish your knob at the snap of your fingers.

NFW v3.0 is getting me pumped. Let's roll~!
