Running Time:approx. 3 hours 10 minutes(190 minutes)
Idus Martias Opening
Running Time: approx. 13 min.
The HUGE PAY PER VIEW opened up with an excellent opening music video over the song 'F*** Authority' performed by Pennywise that faded into an extravagant pyrotechnics display and shot of a screaming jam packed Spirit Center in Kansas City, Missouri. As the shot wound down we joined with our three commentators, Peter Piper, Jim Coors, and Star Caine talking about the past weeks, from Noitcerusser Two up until now, when Alex Caine's music hit and he strutted his way to the ring. Once there he congratulated the fans, and the locker room on once again making Anarchy Wrestling a simply Amazing Wrestling company, and one of today's top wrestling promotions. He then said that after weeks of tormenting us he now has information...direct footage of the mystery date who signed up for the North American scramble match at Noitcerusser Two. He said that he would now reveal who the man running around knocking folks out, seemingly at random, truly was. Alex told the sound and video crew to roll the footage when Slipknot's 'Wait and Bleed' began to play, the lights began to strobe and from behind a curtain of sparks, the Vicious One himself, Vic Powers walked out in a very nice looking suit, carrying a mic. All three commentators began to scream and shout, rant and rave about how Vic Powers had returned, and what he was here for. Vic then told Alex he would love to know all about the ridiculous plot line that is the 'mystery bate', but seeing as he no longer has the authority to tell the sound and video crew what to do, his 'homosexual storyline' would have to wait for another time. At this point Alex looked like a hippo in china, confused and bewildered. Alex started to say something, but Powers told him to 'shut his C***sucker,' sending commentator Star Caine into a frenzy about how he can't say that to HIS son. Vic just smiled as he then proceeded to tell Alex that as of just this morning The Vicious One, with the help and financial backing of his old friend Vic Panter, owned Alex's 40% stock, and he was now the co-owner of AW...while Alex was now exactly what he deserved to be..."A BUM." Alex was furious and ran towards the entryway but was cut off by security and escorted from the building, as our announcers, Star Caine especially, were outraged and severely vocal and animate.
Curtain Call - North American Championship Match: Devlin Raine v. Mark Cannon
Running Time: approx. 14 min.
The commentators had no time to calm down as Mark Cannon's music hit and he made his way to the ring to a small hush of cheers. While the commentators still bickered back and forth about the new owner being Vicious Vic, and how it could be worse, like Vince Russo running AW, Devlin Raine made his way to the ring to a huge crowd pop. The bell rang and the two collided head on, and one-on-one for the second time. As with their prior encounter this was far from a let down, but ultimately feel short of the hype @$$ociated with it. The match was a great back and forth wrestling match with slams, submissions and physical attacks for about six minutes before Devlin Raine locked in a modified inverted STF. After being in the hold for a little more than sixty seconds the world watched as Cannon's shoulder bone, (I think the clavicle maybe?) literally broke through the skin. The referee, Terry Fritzpatrick, immediately called for the bell and a microphone, declaring that Devlin Raine was still champion via a Technical Knockout. Fritzpatrick handed Devlin his title, and he celebrated for a while before exiting the ring as the crowd cheered and EMT's helped Cannon to the back. For those who don't know, a Technical Knockout occurs in boxing matches when one competitor is injured to the point of which they are no longer able to compete further. AS I said in the beginning of this review the match was in itself, far from a let down, but I felt as though this match could've lasted a lot longer if Cannon had been at a peak physical condition. I have no doubt in my mind when Mark gets released from the Injured reserve listing that he will be going after Devlin Raine with a fury and vengeance not even the devil himself could rival.
'Federation Interview #1': Sean Chainz w/Aimiee Kelley
Running Time: approx. 05 min.
We cut backstage to see AW's FIRST EVER "WWF-Style prematch Interview". Female interviewer Aimiee Kelley, (GAWD SHE'S HAWT!) was standing beside AW newcomer Sean 'The Truth' Chainz. I'll go ahead and give the run-down of what all was said this time out, but in the future I may just give a summary.
Aimiee Kelley:
Sean you're a recent addition to the Anarchy roster. In fact you signed into this event three days after the official card was released...and yet somehow you've made it to the top of the card....the match with you and Williams is the warm-up before the main event....how do you feel about that?
Sean Chainz:
I feel Like its giving me a chance to show case what I am about show these neanderthals what the TRUTH is all about
Aimiee Kelley:
How can you call people neanderthals when you look like a caveman yourself?
Sean Chainz:
My mental capicity alone proves I am superior
Aimiee Kelley:
So you have a large mental capacity?
Sean Chainz:
As well as physical superiority
Aimiee Kelley:
Well I will definately be cheering for you and your..."physical superiority" tonight
Sean Chainz:
As you should...I have to finish getting ready to deliver some Truth...
Aimiee Kelley:
Alright, Star, Peter...Back to You two.
At this point Jim Coors began to scream about how Aimiee had forgotten to mention him as a commentator. Piper smacked him, said it was all in his head, Star just laughed, and our next match got started.
Match 2: Spaz v. Suriel Night Crowlie
Running Time: approx. 17 min.
Suriel and Spaz started out with an honest to good golly moses handshake. I mean I as a watcher of the event could tell, (I mean I know the two have a mutual respect for each other and the company because I work backstage with them), but this handshake showed that respect 100%. The two then circled and squared off.(wow, that's an oxy moron.) The commentary during this bout was nothing short of fantastic as each of the three men did their jobs perfectly. Piper providing play by play, Coors adding color, and Star...well his job is just to exist at the booth I guess, although he did get in a few good cracks at Peter after successfully correcting him about the names of a couple maneuvers. Going back to what happened in the ring, it was an honest to harold, (Gee I'm being honest with this match)(Note to self, less parenthesis-talking to self moments,) good ol' fashion wrestling match. Complete with armlocks, body slams, suplexes, and clotheslines. Dropkicks flying and irish whips abounding. The match went on for about 14 minutes before Mr. Crowlie nailed his 'Nightcap' rolling cutter. He made the cover and the crowd, which was seemingly split between the two stars counted for the three.....BUT SPAZ KICKED OUT AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND! Crowlie threw his hands in the air and taunted Spaz to get up. Spaz did after catching his breath and Crowlie went to execute a second 'Nightcap'.....BUT SPAZ COUNTERED MIDWAY THROUGH THE ROLL AND RIGHT INTO A 'SPAZIM'. For those who don't know what a 'Spazim' is. It's a modified lifting reverse DDT. Spaz made the cover, and Crowlie didn't have enough to power out of it. The music hit and Spaz knelt to Crowlie's side. He tapped his face, and then helped him up and in a show of sportsmanship unseen in AW since Mesterio Raine handed TDS the Untamed championship, Spaz actually raised Crowlie's hand. No doubt these two have developed a deep friendship in the past few weeks.
'Federation Interview #2': Scott Owens w/Randy Gregory
Running Time: approx. 05 min.
We cut backstage here for another cl@$$ic "WWF-style prematch interview", as well as to let the ring area clear out a bit. Again, I'll go ahead and give the run-down of what all was said this time out, but in the future I may just give a summary.
Randy Gregory:
I'm Randy Gregory and I'm backstage, at Idus Martias with one member of the Justice League, and possible future Chaos Theory champion...Scott Owens. Scott How are you doing tonight?
Scott Owens:
Possible chaos champ you mean future chaos champion
Randy Gregory:
Well that has yet to be decided, and by the looks of things your partner has yet to arrive... and your match is next....I'd say things are looking a little bleak for you right now. Any ideas where your partner might be?
Scott Owens:
I have no idea where ryan is but that doesnt change the fact that im walking out of the ring tonight as champion
Randy Gregory:
Is that a fact?
Scott Owens:
Did i stutter ?
Randy Gregory:
no, I guess you didn't....You're a former AWO World champion if my sources are right. Is that what is giving you this confidence in yourself to believe that you can single handedly overcome the seemingly 2-on-1 odds?
Scott Owens:
I've said it once I'll say it again I will do what ever it takes to walk out of that ring tonight champion.
(Scott Owens does a long slow, throat cutting motion with his hand and exits the scene.)
Randy Gregory:
I have another questio-
Scott Owens:
No more questions.
Randy Gregory:
Alright well I wish you the best of luck. Peter, Star...back to you two.
At this point Jim Coors broke in whining about where his name was yet AGAIN, and moaned that Randy now, as well as Aimiee, have both completely ignored him as a commentator. Piper made mention that it's because he's a boob, Star sympathized and said it was okay, called him Jamima, offered him some weed, and our next match begun.
Match 3 - Chaos Theory Championship Match: Parental Advisory v. Scott Owens & Ryan Payne (Payne Replaced by Ben Morrigan)
Running Time: approx. 38 min.
We cut back to ringside with our commentary still mocking Coors as Parental Advisory made their way to the ring. As the security began dumping jugs of thumbtacks into the ring, Louis and Amy tested out the barbed wire wrapped ropes. Louis pointed to a ladder and Amy nodded her head. Scott OWens then entered the rampway by himself. The commentary was split between surprised(Jim), not surprised(Peter),too stoned to care(Star). Owens walked to the side of the ring and stared at Louis and Amy. Louis and Amy taunted him to get in, and Owens just shook his head. Louis climbed to the turnbuckle and began hyping the crowd, Amy then turned to hype the crowd as well. At this point Owens climbed the stairs behind both of them and jumped over the top rope. As Amy turned around she was met with a clothesline and the bell rang. Owens then proceeded to take the fight to both members of the team, knocking, and slamming them around. After a few minutes however the numbers got to him, and from there it was nothing more than a torture-fest. Louis and Amy put Owens through unthinkable, and somewhat unspeakable acts of violence. Taunting him, and playing to the crowd. After fifteen minutes of beating Scott bloody, Louis pointed to the ladder. Amy again nodded and went outside to retrive it as Scott seemed to take every chance to look to the entryway through a mask of crimson tears. It seemed as though, if there was a god he believed in, he was praying for help to arrive from his Justice League stable mates. That help never came however, and he was hit with a 'Paper Shredder' from Louis face into the thubtacks. Louis then grabbed Scott as Amy set up a 30 foot step ladder. Star made a comment about how that ladder was almost as high as him, Coors chuckled, and Piper facepalmed himself. Louis dragged OWens up one side as Amy got to the other side. Louis then put Owens into an Argentine style backbreaker atop the ladder, Louis then flung Scott's head outwards towards a side of the ladder and Amy lept off the ladder, catching him in a 3/4 turned neckbreaker(a cutter) and taking him not only to the mat, but bringing his chest across the barbed wire wrapped ropes. Amy herself crumpled outside the ring and didn't get up as fast as she had probably hoped. All three commentators were shocked, and amazed. Louis, still atop the ladder looked down at Owens, laying flat on his back on the thumbtacks, his face and chest dripping blood everywhere. Louis Taunted the crowd and signaled, in the same manner that James Caine would, for a 450 splash. It was at this point Peter Piper went completely crazy as Ben Morrigan hopped the gaurdrail and as Louis came down with the splash Morrigan speared him...RIGHT OUT OF HIS BOOTS!(Literally, One of Louis's boots came flying off and hit someone in the crowd!) Morrigan then proceeded to stomp the life out of Louis, even scraping his face acorss the thumbtack littered mat drawing the first blood from Parental Advisory, as Amy recovered outside of the ring. Scott was still laying unconcious in the ring. Amy got back in and attempted to attack the clockwork anarchist, but to no avail. Morrigan turned and set his sights on then making the Country Butterfly bleed, before turning back and getting a 'Paper Shredder' from Louis. At this point Amy and Louis began to take the fight to the AW hall of famer. Before long they had him set up for another Argentine-Cutter combination when Scott Owens who had apparently recovered, blasted Louis with a monsterous Bicycle kick that sent Louis over the top rope, but the barbed wire dug into his skin and caused him to hang for a bit. Morrigan then tossed Amy to Scott as he ducked out of the ring and tore Louis from the wire. Morrigan and Louis began trading shots outside the ring as Owens delivered what he calls a 'Lights out', or a modified scoop brainbuster and covered for the one, two, three, officially ending this match as Ben Morrigan delievered a brutal Beltaine Buster to Louis onto a 10 foot ladder set up against the guard rail. Morrigan pointed to owens as Billy De Menza handed him BOTH Chaos Theory titles. Morrigan gave Owens the thumbs up, and started to hop back over the guard rail, but Owens grabbed a microphone and called Ben back in. Ben shook his head but entered the ring, and Ownes handed him one of the titles, saying that this belongs to him. He deserved it. Morrigan looked at the belt being offered to him, and the crowd chanted for him to 'Take the belt' He smiled that coy Morgi smile, and checked all sides of the ring listening to the whole audience as Coors shouted for him to 'just take the F***ing thing!,' before he grabbed it and thrust it into the air. The crowd gave one of the biggest pops in the night thus far, as Piper went ballistic, Coors unenthusiastically 'wa-hooed', and Star light a bong. The two celebrated for a moment, as some security, and EMT's worked on clearing the ring of tacks, ladders, wire, and a broken Parental Advisory.
Vic Powers...Owner?
Running Time: approx. 5 min.
Following the UNSANE match that was the Chaos Theory championship match, we cut backstage to allow the tacks, ladders, and wire to be removed from the ring area. Backstage we watched as Vic Powers strutted around the halls greeting AW superstars, and introducing himself to those who didn't know him, whenever anyone tried to say anything back he simply told them to 'shut their C***sucker' and continued walking. He stopped in front of the Justice League's door, and knocked. The door opened by Jason North who smiled and the two greeted as though they were best friends. As the door to the League locker room closed we returned to ringside where the commentators fumed, and feuded over whether or not Powers was a good thing for AW, or not.
Match 4: Sean Chainz v. Jesse Williams
Running Time: approx. 9 min.
Sean Chainz and Jesse Williams were up next, but before either of them entered the ring Spaz made his way to the commentator's booth and put on a headset. Apparently he wanted to check out Jesse Williams in action and see if it was indeed the same Williams from OWF or not. Williams and Chainz then made their way to the ring with their respective entrances. Upon hearing the bell ring Chainz unleashed all kinds of anarchy on the AW newcomer. It wasn't until the match had gone five minutes before Williams came up with a dropkick that reeled the well-physiqued Chainz. Williams then jumped to the top rope and attempted a moonsault body splash, but Chainz used his amazing strength to catch him in mid air, and transfer him into an electric chair position. Chainz then stepped to the second rope and fell backwards, as the commentators screamed. Piper himself called it the "Weak Link Eliminator", Coors quickly corrected him and told him that Sean calls it the "Crashing Down". Piper called him Janie, and a boob, before stating that his name was far cooler. Star just coughed erratically and asked if anyone else wanted a hit. Spaz took him up on the offer while Chainz scores the one, two three. Spaz then went to the ring to confront the downed Williams. As he walked up the ramp, he was stopped by Chainz and the two had a brief stare down before Spaz shoved his way past, and Chainz continued backstage. Spaz entered the ring, and grabbed a microphone. Spaz said that Williams is clearly NOT the same Williams, but with some training...he could be just as good as that Jesse, maybe better. Peter Piper commented something along the lines of a two year old crack baby being better than the OWF Jesse Williams as Spaz then helped the young newcomer up and to the back.
Main Event: The Rabbithole
Running Time: approx. 82 min.
You know....I was at the Pay per view, and I recorded the Pay Per View on my DVR at home. When I got home I watched the main event four times before I figured out how I was going to write this review for the website. I finally settled on writing it cage by cage. Going from who was out first, to who was out last as opposed to by cage numbers. In all honesty the match was nothing short of a spectacle as the screen was split into six different camera shots of each cage until someone was eliminated and then one camera switched to the ring to cover the action there. I am going to go over each cage and then go over what happened in the in-ring 'finals'.
Now before I get to that, let me describe to you how the arena looked. Above the ring itself was a banner with an image of 'The Unsane One' James Caine. Opposite the entrance ramp was a pyramid of full sized cages. Three on the bottom, two atop those, and one at the very top. Ladders progressed up the sides of each of the cages to doors on the sides, except for the top cage which had only one door.
Cage#5: Eddie Stitchard vs The Diablo Slayer
This was quite possibly the most brutal of all the cages, although I doubt it and may restate this about another cage later. Eddie and TDS wasted no time locking up and fighting back and forth. TDS got the early jump and momentum as the crowd simply roared at all the 'UN sanity' happening before them. A small chant of T-D-S vibrated through the crowd which ultimately seemed to fuel Stitchard to fight back. About ten minutes into the match TDS picked up Eddie and ran with him straight through the wall of the cage and the two toppled off the second tier of cages and straight to the concrete floor. EMT's quickly responded and wheeled both men to the back on gurneys. Neither man ever made it to the ring for the finals.
Cage #1: Mesterio Raine vs Trent Montana.
I've tried and tried to follow the action here, but there really wasn't much action to witness. Montana looked at the cage around him skeptically and tested the durability of the mesh, when he turned back around Mesterio was on top of him, punishing him brutally. Mesterio grabbed Montana's face and bashed it repeatedly into the cage before delivering a "Fate Sealer" and pinning the Justice League member. John Yuma, this cages referee counted the one two three and unlocked the cage door. Mesterio went to the ring and grabbed a steel chair to wait for his opponents to come.
Cage #4: Erik Dafoe vs Ali Khadafi
Another cage with very little action, and another lopsided bout. Erik Dafoe tested the mesh flooring and caught sight of Mesterio. He eyed Mesterio and watched as Raine ran and grabbed Montana. AS he watched the beginning of the beat down, Khadafi jumped Dafoe with rights and lefts, but Dafoe quickly fought his way back. Dafoe then manhandled Ali, delivering move after move and quite literally breaking the AW newcomer's bones, (his left knee and right shoulder respectively,) before using his "Innovation" finisher. He covered Ali as Jon Tees reluctantly counted the pinfall. Tees then unlocked the door, and Dafoe left to ringside.
Cage#3: Rock n Roll God Ace Ward vs Seth G. Morgan
These two have a lot of bad blood, and tonight was when it was going to boil over and be finished. And Ace Ward was determined to end it in his favor. There was no doubt about that, as anyone could tell from the look in his eyes. Seth Morgan on the other hand seemed to intoxicated to much less really care. Rocky G pummeled the vibrant youth into practical oblivion. The Rock God bounced Seth's face off of each of the four walls, delivered multiple slams, kicks, and punches before ultimately dropping Seth with the 'Rock n Roll History' and covering him. Joey Moe counted the one, two, three and unlocked to doors for AW's resident rocker.
Cage#6: Spaz vs Vinny Vegas
The Great Gambler made his AW return, and what a return it was. Vinny and Spaz battled for almost a full 60 minutes back and forth leaving gallons of blood dripping from the top cage of the pyramid. Vegas even coordinated one of the moves that made him an AW famous name. Vegas climbed to the top of the cage and backflip splashed the legend. Vegas then set Spaz up for a Royal Flush, but Spaz managed to counter it into a double-arm DDT. The two men continued to fight from there with Spaz holding the momentum until Vegas came from nowhere with a Sanbo Suplex. Vegas then persuaded the crowd to join in a chant of P-S-X, as a tribute to his former mentor and the AW illustrious immortal, James Caine. Unbeknownst to the AW star, Spaz had recovered from the blow and dropped Vegas with a 'Spazim'. Spaz knew this wouldn't be enough and lifted the AW veteran one more time and executed a second 'Spazim' that broke the floor of the cage and sent both men into the second row of, by this time empty, cages. Billy De Menza counted the pinfall from the cage above, and Spaz made his way to the ring, leaving through the fifth cage's open door.
Cage#2: Dave Wilson vs Shawn Dreamer
Easily the greatest contest of the night, with Vic Powers appearing as the special guest referee for this cage who knew what to expect. The bout started with Dave Wilson holding true to his word and smashing Dreamer's face off of the metal poles in each corner of the cage. Wilson went for a few early pin attempts but none successful. The camera shot on this screen cut to a young fan, Adam Lawrence, in the front row just behind the cage, and then back to the two main event heavyweights. Dreamer apparently spotted the young fan and with a renewed vigor battled his way back, and delivered an EPIC BEATING to Wilson for a time, before a low blow evened the odds. At this point the two men had been beating each other for 14 minutes and continued to battle for another 56 minutes before Vic Powers clotheslined both men out of nowhere. Vic then grabbed the door and TORE IT RIGHT OFF IT'S HINGES, SNAPPING THE LOCK AND CHAIN! Powers picked up Wilson and chucked him out the door, he then went back, grabbed Dreamer and threw him out of the cage as well, yelling at them to finish it in the ring. As Dreamer and Wilson began to make their way to the ring Powers suddenly kicked Dreamer in the spine, and locked him in a Vicious end. Dreamer screamed in pain as Powers laughed and Wilson, with an unknown drive suddenly punted Dreamer across the chin. Powers dropped Dreamer as Wilson made the cover, and Vic counted. Wilson and Powers laughed as the two walked to the ring.
:THE RABBITHOLE FINALS:
Mesterio Raine v. Erik Dafoe v. Rocky G v. Spaz v. Dave Wilson
Mesterio Raine was sitting and waiting for his first opponent and that just so happened to be Erik Dafoe. Dafoe and Mesterio stared at each other for a minute or two before actually shaking hands. Mesterio took the upper hand and kicked Erik in the midsection and gaining momentum. Mesterio held control of the match until Rocky G showed up. Mesterio who had a firm control on the match turned his attention to the Rock God allowing Erik Dafoe to blindside the AW fan favorite with a dropkick. Spaz then came slid into the ring and began to 'clean house', so to speak. Throwing lefts and rights at rights at anything that moved. After punching Rocky G, and Mesterio Raine he turned his efforts to the "business-oriented" Erik Dafoe. While Rocky G did his best to hide in a corner, Mesterio tapped Spaz on the shoulder and as Spaz turned he received a brutal snap suplex. Mesterio looked to the downed Dafoe, and Spaz, and then to Ace who stood in the corner. Mesterio started towards Ace, but Spaz tripped him up. The two then confronted each other on the mat, going back and forth with vicious punches, one rolling atop the other. Erik Dafoe got to his feet just in time to catch a super kick to the jaw from Ace Ward who immediately covered him. Mike Semen made the count and effectively eliminated Erik Dafoe. Ace quickly rolled out of the ring and laughed his way to the back locker room, and didn't come back to the ring. effectively eliminating himself from the bout and leaving Spaz and Mesterio alone in the ring continuing to beat on each other. The two went back and forth before Dave Wilson entered the bout with Vic Powers still standing at ringside for some reason. Mesterio delivered a 'Fate Sealer' to Spaz and turned to hype the crowd, signaling for another one. As Mesterio turns Wilson who had been stalking him like a lion explodes into him with an 'Aftershock Effect' and covers. Semen makes the count of one, two, three to eliminate AW's 'Man of Fate'. Wilson looks to the only finals opponent left, laying flat on his back, Spaz. Wilson walks around him as Spaz rolls and spits some blood to the mat. Wilson smiles a sick sadistic grin as Spaz gets to his stomach and starts to push himself up. As he lays there Dave Wilson charges him and looks to punt the Canadian's head into the crowd but Spaz catches Wilson coming towards him, grabs his ankle and rolls him with a dragon leg screw. Spaz gets to his feet as the crowd roars. Spaz then gains a huge boost of momentum and takes advantage of it. Spaz is on the uptake and has Wilson in the corner. Spaz stands in the opposite corner and raises his arms, shouting to the heavens. The crowd is really behind him at this point and he takes off towards Wilson. He leaps into the air for a splash, but Wilson ducks and Vicious Vic Powers has a steel chair ready and waiting for Spaz to drive his own face into. Spaz crashes into the chair and staggers back and stumbles around to face Wilson who delivers a second 'Aftershock Effect' and covers. Semen makes the three count and Powers steps through the ropes of an AW ring for the first time to raise the Justice League leader's hand. Semen starts to hand Wilson the belt but the Vicious One takes it from Mike and Vic hands it to Dave instead, lifting Dave's arm into the air as the announcers are going berserk. With the exception of Jim Coors, who was @$$ed out drunk, Peter and Star were clamoring over why would Vic do such a thing to AW, why a good guy like him would turn against the fans, and the AW that was so good to him. The rest of the Justice League joined Dave and Vic in the ring and hoisted Dave upon their shoulders, as the camera flashed to Spaz rolling on the ground outside the ring holding his head and ribs, and then back to Dave who at this point had gotten down and climbed the turnbuckle. As he hoisted the belt high to a wave of boo's, he glared menacingly at the fallen Canadian and our Pay per view faded to the AW logo, leaving us all to woner what is going to happen in the darkened coming days.
