Death of Mankind 2K7 presents:The Black Tablets
>The End of the begining, The begining of the end<

::To Legion::

I SEEM... to dwell in madness?

All it takes is one bad day to turn the sanest man alive to lunacy. You had a bad day once, didn't you?

I've had 24 years worth of "BAD DAYS."

It's those same bad days that have allowed me to become what I am today in this earthly body.

The greatest professional wrestler alive, Doubt me, and I will prove it with your blood.

Let me find the devil?

I've met the angel Samael my comrade...

He quivered with fear in my presence.

I have spit in death's vacant occular cavity.

Chase Time and Space?

I breathe immortality and live beyond the common laws of both time and space, for I know their secrets.

Find what you have seen?

Have you seen the long forgotten city of Atlantis?

I have.

Have you fought in the colliseum of Rome, before God, and his ceasar?

I have.

Were you there to witness the erection of the great pyramids of Egypt?

I was.

Have you ever found your own Wonderland?

I know that you have not.

You are of no concern to me Snake King.

I did enjoy a hearty chuckle at your earthly definitions of time however.

It amused me.

So close but so far you are from the truth.

Trust Time, and not wisdom?

Trust that which is Law, above my my own Magic?

You are but a pitiful fool.

And be you Hero or Villan you shall fall the same as all who have come before you.

::To Nero Phoenix::

Silence...

Is it fear?

You are so Quiet...

So very Quiet.

You keep to yourself,

You who are fast.

You who are young.

You who are but a child in the den of lions.

Are you a God Fearing man Nero?

Because if you do not fear the Almighty

Then I shall give you a reason to fear his creations

Or More specifically...

Me.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

::To Mike Allen::

The strong silent type?

Or the wise keep your mouth shut and hope he finishes you quickly type?

It makes a difference in the least what you are now...

Come Desecrationyou will be the same as everyone else....

A loser.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

::To Ryan Payne::

Ah Ryan, The man of destruction, chaos, and doom.

You haven't spoken much, if really at all.

I dare you to open your mouth...

So that I may close it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

::To Jon Tees::

Rusted and old.

Large and weak.

It is you who have worked hardest at fulfilling the dreams of those around you,

While placing your own by the wayside.

A commendable feat I dare say, but what is the cost I enquire.

Pushing your talent, and wasting your own

What is it you have become?

What is it you have become?

Are you man enough to take what I've claimed?

Are you bold enough to thwart my artifice?

Are you good enough...

To do what others could not?

I placed my pen upon my desk as I finished the letters. Each of them to be mailed to their respective destinations on the morrow. I smiled with my knowledge, before leaning back in my chair, and resting my eyes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then in my heart grew there a great longing to
conquer the pathway that led to the stars.
Year after year, I had sought after wisdom,
seeking new knowledge, following the way,
until at last my SOUL, in great travail,
broke from its bondage and bounded away.

Free was I then from the bondage of earth-men.
Free from the body, I flashed through the night.
Unlocked at last for me was the star-space.
Free was I from the bondage of night.
Now to the end of space sought I wisdom,
far beyond knowledge of finite man.

Far into space, my SOUL traveled freely
into infinity's circle of light.
Strange, beyond knowledge, were some of the planets,
great and gigantic, beyond dreams of men.

Yet found I Law, in all of its beauty, working
through and among them as here among men.

Flashed forth my soul through infinity's beauty,
far through space
I flew with my thoughts.

Rested I there on a planet of beauty.
Strains of harmony filled all the air.

Shapes there were, moving in Order,
great and majestic as stars in the night;
mounting in harmony, ordered equilibrium,
symbols of the Cosmic, like unto Law.

Many the stars I passed in my journey,
many the races of men on their worlds;
some reaching high as stars of the morning,
some falling low in the blackness of night.

Each and all of them struggling upward,
gaining the heights and plumbing the depths,
moving at times in realms of brightness,
living through darkness, gaining the Light.

*THUD!*

The back of my skull cracked hard into my wooden office floor, waking me from my rest. Enjoyed the memories, did I, of how I came to be.

I rose from the floor, and dusted myself off. I looked to my barren wrist to see that I was late, there was still much to be done before desecration, and I had only just begun. I moved hurredly through my office and down the grand staircase, and reaching the bottom was halted in my tracks.

"In a bit of a rush aren't we?" came the familiar voice, the cause of my abrupt stopping.

I turned slowly to find myself staring at none other than myself. I just sat there at the dining room table, drinking a brew. A wickid smile spreading cross my cheeks. I, however, apparently not as chipper, stood there solemn and grim.

"Bit surprised to see me sitting here? Oh well you'll get over that. Maybe it would be better...If I appeared..." The apparition began as it stood and moved towards me, it's body shifting into that of a grotesque looking cat. "As a cat?"

"What is it you want? I have so little left to do and so much time to do it." I replied.

"You should strike that, and reverse it." He said with a grin.

I started to respond, but caught myself short. He made a valid point on that subject. "You avoided my first question. What is it that you want?"

"You still have yet to make good on our bargain, so I began to plot. I've decided to visit to collect another payment... Perhaps this time you'll listen, or perhaps you'll just rot. HEE HEE HEE HEE HEE!" He said with a sadistic smile as he shifted himself back to the darker image of me.

"You speak in riddles and tongues, that I'm too busy to decipher. Leave me alone cat, lest ye be willing to lose your fur." I ground my jaws together as I spoke to the madman that I knew was not there.

"Don't say I never gave you a warning Nagidam, or should I say Semaj? HEH HEH HEH..." He laughed like Samael, as he dissipated before me, a thin cloud of smoke and there was nothing left but a hair. I bent down to retrieve it. Just as I had come close enough to see it's violet hue, the world turned to blackness, and left me in the dark.
