I awake startled at the dream I had. I find myself still in my class room. I must have fallen asleep at my desk while going over paper work from the students. I pick up the paper on top and it’s Jessica Weavers paper on seismic pressure. I put it down and just rub my face with my hands. I don’t really need to be thinking of that at the moment. I just need to get these dreams out of my head. No not dreams. Nightmares. That’s what it is. At least that’s I think. For some reason, something in the back of my mind is telling me they aren’t just nightmares. Maybe memory’s? The blood that ends on my hands, the body’s and heads of….
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Some ones knock on the door and shakes me out of my thoughts. Before I can tell the person to come in the door opens. In walks Miss Cheryl Mooney. She is dressed in black pin stripe pants with a Blue Satan shirt. I’m sure she left the jacket back in her office. Which I do not mind at all. Kind of sexy if I do say so myself. She’s a brunette with her hair just falling behind her shoulders. Looks like she is carrying some mail. No doubt because I forget to pick it up after the classes were over today.
“Good Evening Mr Cornell.” She says in a soft smoothing voice. “I noticed that you didn’t pick up your mail today after class.” Bingo. “So I thought that I would just bring it back to you. So you know, that your mail box will be not get clogged come tomorrow.”
“Well thank you Ms. Mooney. I do appreciate it.”
She blushes a little. “Please just call me Cheryl.”
“Ok then Cheryl.” I hesitate. “Please just call me Adrian then.”
I pause a few seconds and I study her hazel green eyes. I pick up a letter she set on the desk and it’s a letter from the offices of Anarchy Wrestling. “Ah some paperwork from my other job.”
”Oh really. I have heard that you were a pro wrestler as well. How do you find the time?”
”Oh that’s simple. I have a great mind for science.” I lean in closer to her to whisper. “Don’t tell the students, but I can consider being a teacher more or less a side job to my Wrestling Career.” I lean back in my chair and motion for Cheryl to sit in the chair next to mine.
She sits down without much hesitation. “you know it’s hard enough to become a college professor. How is it you are able to say you tend to make it a side job? And how did you become a Professoinal wrestler at the same time?”
”Well as I said. I have a great mind for science and it comes very easy for me. As for wrestling, well it’s always been a dream of mine. I was always athletic as a kid. I played just about every sport I could as kid. I always knew how a sport was played in my head. However I couldn’t just get my body to do most of the things that was required. Then by some happy stance I went to a wrestling school and was kind of a natural. And in the ring, my genius help me a lot in getting over. Just about every night in the ring I could hold the crowd in the palm in my hand.”
“Well from what I hear, isn’t this matching coming up going to be your debut match? And I know that debut means, first time ever.”
Yes that is true. This is my first match with Anarchy Wrestling.”
She gives me a small smile. Almost like she is trying to flirt with me. “Well where were you before you came to teach here in Towson and wrestle in Anarchy Wrestling?” I suck on my teeth as I try to think. But I can’t help but think of where I have been the last few months and why I was there. “Well to be honest. I was hospilized a few months ago when I fell into a coma. I don’t remember how. And for the life of me I can’t remember the last 5 years of my life.
”She gets a little worried look in her eyes. “And you don’t have any family or friends that can help you?”
“ I didn’t have many friends when I was in school. And my Family, well I don’t know what happened to them. I don’t remember much of my parents. And at this point in my life, I figure that if I don’t have any lasting memories of them, then they are not worth remembering at all.” Cheryl gently grabs my hand. “Don’t worry. Just because you don’t good memorys from then, Doesn’t mean you can’t make some good memoys now…… **** End Part 1
