A Second Chance He looks up at the sky as he holds her tight in his arms. He kisses her forehead and smiles. The mountains are cold tonight, which is why he brought them a blanket. The light of the four wheeler is shining brightly on the both of them. He closes his eyes and rests his head on her blond hair. Cameron: “I love you Jeremy.” Jeremy: “I love you too Cameron.” He kisses her. Cameron: “Jeremy, do you think that there is a God?” Jeremy: “Yes, I do. Why you ask?” Cameron: “I was just wondering. Do you think he meant for us to be together?” Jeremy turns her around to face him. Jeremy: “God has a plan for us all Cameron, and I think you are my plan and I am your’s. No matter what happens in this life…” A figure steps in front of the light as he is talking. Jeremy: “Can I help you man?” He just stands there. Jeremy goes to get up, but Cameron stops him. Cameron: “Jeremy, don’t leave me. What if he is a psychopath?” Jeremy: “you watch way too much television. It will be alright.” He stands up and starts to walk toward the figure. Jeremy: “Can I help you man?” He gets close enough to see who it is. Jeremy: “Man, I brought my girlfriend up here for some alone time, so I would appreciate it if you would just leave.” Jeremy turns around to go back to his Cameron, but the man never moves. Jeremy turns back around and starts walking toward him. Jeremy: “Are you deaf motherfucker? I told you to get lost.” He stands there. Jeremy: “Dude, this is the last time I am telling you. Get the Hell out of here!” He remains standing there. Jeremy punches him and he falls to the ground. Jeremy: “Now, get the fuck up and get out of here.” He gets up and stands there, smiling at Jeremy. Jeremy goes to hit him again, but he blocks the punch and punches him right on the chin. Jeremy falls, knocked unconscious. Cameron screams: “Jeremy!” He turns his head to her and starts to make his way toward her with a sick sadistic smile on his face. Jeremy gets up and jumps on his back. He throws him off and keeps walking toward her. She gets up and starts running as Jeremy gets picks up a huge limb from a tree and hits him in the back, breaking it. He doesn’t move. Instead, he turns his head and looks at Jeremy with anger. He grabs him by the throat. “This isn’t a fight you want to find yourself in. I suggest you get on your little four wheeler and get the Hell out of here.” He throws him down, and starts walking toward Cameron again. Jeremy jumps back up and pushes Hallow to take his mind off of Cameron. He then runs toward Hallow, but Hallow side steps him. Jeremy almost goes off the mountain, but Hallow catches him, turns him around and grabs him by the throat. “Is she really worth dying for boy?” Cameron stops running and looks over at what he is doing to her Jeremy. She screams “NO!!” He looks over at her. “I guess she is!” He throws Jeremy off the mountain, and watches him as he rolls down toward the bottom. Cameron falls to her knees and screams. HE makes his way toward her. Cameron: “Please. Please. I have money.. I have jewelry, anything, just please don’t hurt me.” He picks her up by her hair and holds her up to his face. “Hurt you? Whoever said I wanted to hurt you?” He drops her back down to the ground. “See, this is not exactly the way I wanted this to go my sweet Cameron. I have never really wanted to convert people into what I am, but I see you, I see your beauty, I see your desire for life. I see everything you want to be. You thought your life was going to be forever in Jeremy’s arms, but that is not how I want your story end. See, I too was dragged away from the one I love. But this, my dearest Cameron, this gift that I am about to give you will take away from any kind of pain you feel.” Cameron: “Please.. Oh God please.” He looks up to the sky. “So its God you want.” He looks back up to the sky. “GOD, ARE YOU THERE?!” He remains looking back up at the sky. “Apparently God isn’t listening to you. He doesn’t care about you, nor does he care about Jeremy down there. He only cares about himself. Let me teach you something about this so called God that you follow. He is an attention whore, put you here to stroke his own ego. And he asks you to help him spread his word, but how does he help you in return? He lets you live? Yeah, life, such a precious gift. Most people throw theirs away, much like you were by letting that pathetic creature kiss all over you. But now, my dearest Cameron...” He lend his hand to help her up. She takes it. “But now, I am here to offer you so much more than that. I am here to offer you immortality. The one thing that all people want. The one thing that makes you a God. The one thing that guarantees that you will not ruin your life like Jeremy, or Bucky Skyler. The one thing that you will wish for when you are older.” He hugs her, but when he does, he bites her on the jugular vein and starts to suck her blood. Once he gets enough to convert her, he quits. She starts gasping for air, and falls to the ground and lies there, lifeless. He smiles with his blood stained teeth. Oh how does it feel Bucky Skyler? How does it feel to fully understand your career has nothing left to it? Not very Good, I suppose, otherwise why would you keep it struggling for life?” He takes in a deep breath of air. “Buck, if I may call you that, I have seen you around the locker room, advertising yourself like you have done something valuable with your career, since your complete collapse months ago.” He looks into the camera with his dark eyes. “Its funny, because I have seen absolutely nothing from you. You have had your shit at success, but you lost it, and now you act as if you have had the success. You act as though you have taken the success in your lungs and loved the feeling of it as it rushes through your veins. Your success here Bucky is about the success that George Bush had in his term as president, and that is none. Now, it is time for you to know what it feels like to step into the ring with real success. It is time for you to see your true place here in NLCW, and that is in the mid card, fighting and hoping that one day, maybe one day, you will be good enough to step up to the main eventer’s again, but you and I both know that that dream is just an aspiration, and will never find reality. Maybe that is why you force yourself to return to the ring all these times, then you can imagine how it is to be at the top, but when the buzz comes down and you look around, you see that you will never be at the top here. You see all of those that are better than you, and you roll up another, and continue to live the dream.” He makes his way toward the light that is shining in his face. “Now, you hate the fact that people see you as a gimmick, but you say that it is your own. Well, this is who I am. I love hurting people, and I will hold you no exception. Instead, you will be a statement of things to come from me here in NLCW. I promise you this Buck nasty. I promise that this will be unlike any other match you have had. This will be an annihilation. It will be a one sided victory. To sum it up, it will be an easy victory for me, because I have fought better, and defeated way better than you. I suggest that you rethink about the current path your career is on, do something to numb your body, because you do not want to live through the pain I give you. If you disregard my suggestion, then chances are that the pain will kill you before I even think about it.” He looks up at the stars in the sky. “Make yourself a wish Bucky. Wish for ability, wish for a miracle, wish for survival. Just make a wish, and hope that it comes true, because I will show no mercy.” He walks off as the scene shifts over to Cameron, who is no longer there. The scene then shifts around, but then out of nowhere, you Cameron jumping toward the camera man as the scene fades to black. |
