I am Alex Mark and the crowd here in Cali is HOT! Eric White: The Stars are out tonight Lex! I'm Eric White and this is going to be an outstanding, outstanding night! With a shitload of surprises, the biggest thus far...THE NAME CHANGE OF THE EVENT! We went from Reckless Endangerment to Revolution, in a 24 hour span!!! Alex Mark: The Name changes didn't stop there, because just like P. Diddy we got a name change...We are no longer Revolution Promotions, but 96 Promotions!!! Eric White: As if that's not enough, all of the matches for tonight have been scratch and in replacement we will have what Smith is calling a Chaotic Cage match to determined all of the champions Alex Mark: With all these changes, I'm already confused!!! The cameras cut to the locker room area. As the camera pans the locker room, we catch Johnny Styles sitting in the back, ready in his gear. The fans erupt as the prince is shown, a muffled chant of his name can be heard through the walls of the arena. SBK sits in a steel folding chair, his eyes closed, deep in thought. A knock can be heard at the door, causing Alex to crack an eye open towards the doorway. The camera zooms out to reveal Jason Backman standing in the doorway, a microphone in hand. JB: Excuse me Johnny, I'm sure you've got a lot on your mind, but I was wondering if we could get a comment on your thoughts going into the match tonight? Johnny opens his other eye, nodding his head as he adjusts himself in the steel chair. Jason approaches SB with the microphone, but before he can get a word in, SB raises his hand, stopping Jason before he can start. SBK: You want my thoughts on the match? What would you like to hear Jason? Hear about how I'm going to go into this match and wipe the floor with five other men and walk out the world champion in a match that I have never taken part in after being away for so long? I would like nothing more to add a 12th world championship to my record, but to be honest I've got butterflies, this is the first big match I've been in in...well years really. Years Jason... SB stares down Jason, leaving an uncomfortable silence between the two. SB cocks his head and pops his neck, before standing up so that he is eye level with the interviewer, an intense look overcoming the face of the usually laid back SBK. SBK: To be honest this is exactly what I wanted, a real test...I can not guarantee that I can go in there and dominate five other men and make myself the world champion. I can't. I'd like to but I'd be lying and there's one thing I'm not...a liar. I can say one thing though, that Jinx, Nathan Lancaster, Colton Vargas, Carmine Vestieri, and Melody are in for one hell of a fight. I may not be the spring chicken I once was, but one fact holds true...I have never EVER been outperformed in a big match situation. Tonight is no difference. Tonight IS a big match situation, and that spells bad news for five other men on the Rev-Er 96 roster. Tonight we're going to see how much tread is left on the tire. Between you and me, I think there's still a lot of road to hit...and I intend to prove it. Tonight there's a lot more on the line than a leather strap with a shiny buckle. There's more on the line than showing some upstart what it takes to be a true warrior. Tonight is about something more. It's about showing that despite what some may say....I AM a champion. I AM royalty. I am one of the best there has ever been, and tonight, I may not win, but I sure as hell will put some egos in check and shatter somebody's dreams. Tonight it's about the resurrection of the true prince of all wrestling. The man who has given the audience everything he had and just for nostalgia's sake....is going to do it for one more go-round. Jason you want my thoughts on the match tonight? I think that you're about to see something epic...and the world will be reminded...that Johnny Styles...is truly the prince of wrestling. With that, SB takes a long hard look into the lens of the camera, giving a look that could burn lead. He walks off camera, leaving Jason alone holding the mic as the muffled cheers continue to pour in. Melissa Jones: Ladies and gentlemen.... the following match is for all of the 96 Championships and it will take place inside the CHAOTIC CAGE!!! The crowd explodes! Melissa Jones: The rules of the match are as follows: The match will begin with two men. Every five minutes another randomly selected man will enter. Once all six men have entered the match, eliminations can begin. People can be eliminated by pinfall or submission. The match ends when only one man is left standing! The winner of the match will be named the 96 Undisputed World Champion! The man to get pinned, or submitted, will be rewarded the Prodigy Champion! The crowd explodes once again Alex: Oh baby! Eric: Who are the unlucky competitors that drew first and second? The arena lights flicker then the arena goes dark. Purple lights hit the main area of the stage as smoke billows up towards it as a heavy beat shreds can be heard. Colton makes his way from behind the curtain, He makes his way down the ramp and up the steps as Melissa makes her announcement. Melissa Jones: Introducing the first competitor......I give to you COLTON VARGAS!!!!!! Colton walks towards the ring and walks up the ring steps as he walks across the ring apron and grabs the top rope and looks out to the masses who are cheering him and the wave of flashes that are engulfing him. He pulls himself up onto the second rope and raises his arms to his sides as he takes in the cheers. He then leaps over the top rope and walks to the center of the ring as he then runs up towards the ropes and leans on them as he plays to the fans. Eric: OH MY! Alex: Colton is going to have a long night ahead of him! Melissa: And the second competitor.... The arena lights dim as Flyleaf "I'm So Sick" begins to play over the PA as and explosion of red erupts the stage, and in the myst we see Melody walk out onto the ramp. Melody tilts his head to the left slightly as she runs her right hand along her head staring in front of her at the crowd. Melissa Jones: .... GIVE IT UP FOR MELODY The bell rings. The crowd cheers. The two men circle one another. Eric: What strategy should these guys be using here Alex? They're gonna have to last the whole night Alex: It's tough. They want to get the early advantage on their opponent, but they also want to conserve some energy for later. After a moment the two competitors lock up. Colton drives his elbow into the side of Melody's head. Melody is staggered. Colton drives his knee into Melody's stomach. Colton now hits Melody with a DDT. He then drops an elbow. And another. And another. He now lays down and locks Melody in a border city stretch. Eric: Great work here by Colton. He knows he can't get a submission at this point, but he's still trying to wear Melody out. Melody reaches up and he rakes Colton's eyes, breaking the hold. Colton slowly stands up. He Irish whips Melody into the corner. He then charges at him. Melody gets his feet up and he kicks Melody in the face. Melody is staggered. Mel now turns, leaps up and he hits Colton with a Pele kick! Colton drops to the mat. Mel now climbs to the top ropes. Alex: What's she gonna do here!? Eric: PHOENIX 630 LEG DROP!!! Alex: ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING!!! Both Mel and Colton lay on the canvas as the crowd cheers. Alex: One minute remaining here before the next competitor is announced. Mel slowly gets to his feet. He glances at the clock and sees that there is less than a minute left. He now pulls Colton to his feet and whips him through the ropes to the outside. Colton crashes into the cage with a loud thud. Eric: Very smart move by Melody. She threw Colton into that cage and he's awaiting her next opponent. The crowd starts looking towards the entrance way as the timer ticks down. Melody steadies himself inside the ring, awaiting his next opponent. 10. 9 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1!!! A buzzer sounds. There is silence for a moment as the crowd anxiously looks for the next competitor. Nathan Lancaster emerges at the top of the ramp Melissa Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, the third competitor: NATHAN LANCASTER!!! Nathan makes his way to the ring. He enters the cage and stands face-to-face with Mel. Mel suddenly hits him with a kick to the groin. Mel now sets him up, lifts him, and hits him with a sitout powerbomb! Alex: BOOM! Eric: Meldoy wasting no time taking it to Nathan! Mel now pulls Nathan up. Nathan grabs her by the head and he falls backwards, tossing Mel forward and into the turnbuckle. Alex: Nice move by Nathan! Nathan stands up now. He pulls Mel to his feet. He now sets him up, lifting him onto his shoulders! Eric: Nathan looking for the End of Existence! Suddenly Colton dives into the ring, taking out Nathan's legs and sending both men crashing to the mat. Alex: COLTON!!! Eric: That's what you have to watch out for in this match: You never know when someone will attack you from behind. Colton pulls Nathan up. He Irish whips him into the corner. Colton now with a hard clothesline. Colton now stands up and he starts unloading on Nathan's face with right hands. Nathan slumps to the mat. Colton turns around now, and he's hit with a spinebuster, sending him down to the mat! Melody gets to her feet now. Suddenly Nathan leaps out of the corner and he hits Mel with a diving clothesline! Alex: These three guys taking turns just destroying one another now! Eric: A minute remaining on the clock! Nathan pulls Mel to his feet. Mel suddenly drives his forearm into Nathan's face. He then runs the ropes and leaps up, hitting Nathan with a running forearm smash. He then turns his attention to Colton, who is just getting to his feet. Mel hits him with a belly-to-belly suplex! Mel now pulls Nathan up. Nathan kicks her in the chest and he hits him with an underhook piledriver! Nathan now pulls Colton to his feet. The crowd starts to count down: 10. 9 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1!!! The buzzer sounds. "Who Run It" by Three Six Mafia blares throughout the arena. Melissa Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, the fourth competitor in this match: CARMINE VESTIERI!!! The crowd cheers as Vestieri runs down to the ring and enters the cage. While Nathan is momentarily distracted, Colton hits him with a stiff right hand. Colton now sends him down to the mat with a Russian leg sweep. As Colton stands up, he's hit with a drop kick from Vestieri! Vestieri now pulls Colton up, only to send him back down with a kneeling piledriver! Nathan gets to his feet. Vestieri grabs him and he Irish whips him across the ring. As Nathan rebounds, Vestieri hits him with a swinging neckbreaker. Vestieri pulls Pericolo up. He sets him up and hits an inverted atomic drop. Vestieri now climbs to the top ropes! Eric: Looking for the Shooting Lion maybe? Suddenly Mel leaps up and he dives into the ropes. Vestieri is staggered and he falls off of the ropes down to the outside. Mel stands up now. She turns around and he's hit with a spear by Colton! Colton now pulls Mel to her feet. Nathan is up as well. Nathan takes Colton's knee out with a chop block. Nathan now takes a step backward. As Melody gets to her feet Nathan steps forward... Alex: DECAPITATION!!! Eric: BRUTAL! Nathan now turns around. Melody stands up.... Alex: DECAPITATION!!! Eric: Another one! The crowd cheers as Nathan stands in the ring, with his two opponent's out cold at his feet. The crowd starts to count. 10. 9. 8. 7. Suddenly Carmine Vestier leaps off of the ropes and he hits Nathan in the back of the head with a flying clothesline!? Alex: Where the hell did he come from!? Vestieri pulls Nathan up and he hits the Last Shot! The crowd boos loudly. The buzzer sounds. Eric: Who now? SEND IN THE CLOWN... The crowd explodes! Alex: OH MAN! Eric: THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET VERY, VERY INTERESTING! Melissa Jones: The fifth competitor: JINX! Jinx dives into the cage. Vestieri charges at him with a clothesline. Jinx ducks it. Jinx now rebounds off of the ropes and he hits a clothesline of his own! He now pulls Vestieri up and sends him back down with a snap suplex! Jinx now with a standing shooting star press! The crowd is on their feet! Alex: JINX is on fire here! Eric: And he's taking it to Carmine Vestieri! Jinx pulls Vestieri up and he hits him with a vertical suplex. He holds on. He stands up and hits a second suplex. He holds on once again..... and then he hits a third! Alex: Three Amigos! Jinx stands up now. The crowd is loving every minute of this. Jinx backs into the corner and he stomps his foot. Alex: Last Laugh coming up! Vestieri slowly staggers to his feet. Jinx steps forward... and he's taken down to the mat by a spinebuster from Melody! The crowd boos. Mel pulls Jinx up and he drops him with a Death Valley Driver. She stands up, and Colton hits her with a clothesline. Colton turns around now, and Vestieri connects with a dropkick! Vestieri slowly gets to his feet. He turns and Nathan delivers a spinning wheel kick, sending him down to the mat. Nathan slowly stands up. Suddenly Jinx kicks him right in the jaw! Alex: FINAL JOKE!!! Eric: Nathan's head just snapped back! Jinx turns his attention to Vestieri once again. He pulls him up to his feet. Overhead belly-to-belly suplex! Jinx now drags Vestieri over towards Nathan. He lies him next to him. He now pulls Colton up, plants him with a DDT and drapes him on top of Nathan and Vestieri. Alex: What is Jinx doing? Melody gets to her feet. Jinx hits her with an Enziguri. Mel falls to the mat beside Colton. Jinx now climbs to the top ropes. Alex: No way... no way! He leaps off of the ropes and he hits a frog splash on all four competitors! Alex: NO WAY!!! The crowd explodes! All five men are down on the mat! 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Eric: HERE COMES SBK! Let it Rock hits. The crowd is on their feet. SBK appears. He slowly makes his way down to the ring, surveying the damage. Melissa Jones: The final competitor: JOHNY STYLES!!! Alex: Johnny Styles enters this match in a very enviable situation. He's the last man in, eliminations can occur at this point, and all five of his opponents are laid out in the center of the ring. Melissa Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, eliminations can now take place! SB enters the ring. Jinx is slowly getting to his feet. He staggers backward and he braces himself against the turnbuckle. He looks up at SB. Their eyes meet. Jinx takes a step forward. SB charges. Jinx ducks a clothesline. SB rebounds off of the ropes. Alex: END RESULT!!! Eric: ALREADY!? SB slowly gets to his feet. He now goes for a cover on Jinx... Alex: This could be our first elimination! 1.... 2.... Jinx kicks out! The crowd is in shock! Alex: WOW! Eric: I guess Jinx isn't worn down enough SB pulls Jinx to his feet. He steps towards him and... Alex: BOOM!! Eric: Jinx almost took SB's head off with that Superkick! Suddenly Carmine Vestieri tackles Jinx down to the mat. He starts unloading on him with right and left hands. Alex: Carmine Vestieri just brutally attacking Jinx now. Nathan gets to his feet. So does Melody. Suddenly Nathan steps forward. Alex: Decapitation! Eric: Melody's been in this match since the beginning and now she's laid out! Alex: And she's getting covered! 1.... 2.... 3!!! Melissa Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, your first elimination: MELODY!!! Eric: Damn! Nathan gets to his feet now. Colton takes him down with a Lou Thez press. Colton now stands up. He turns around and he stands face-to-face with Carmine Vestieri. Vestieri swings a punch. Colton dodges it. He now drops Vestieri with a deadly move Alex: The Moonshiner! 1... 2... 3!!! Melissa Jones: Ladies and gentlemen: Carmine Vestieri has been eliminated! The crowd cheers. Vestieri slowly gets to his feet. The official starts to escort him out of the ring. Vestieri suddenly turns. Jinx is just getting to his feet. Vestieri grabs him. He sets him up and he hits him with a fallaway slam to the outside! Jinx crashes into the cage! Alex: OH COME ON!! Several officials grab Vestieri and then forcibly remove him from the ring. Alex: That's just ridiculous. He was eliminated fair and square and then he attacked Jinx afterward! Colton now turns around. Suddenly SB takes him down with a clothesline. SB stands up now. He pulls Colton up. SB now drives Colton head first into the turnbuckle. Colton collapses to the mat. He now rolls out of the ring to the outside. SB follows him. Colton is on his feet as SB approaches. Colton drives his thumb into SB's eye. Cole now grabs SB by the back of the head and he drives him face-first into the steel cage. Alex: Ouch! Colton now reaches under the ring. He pulls out a steel chair. Eric: Here comes the weaponry! Inside the ring Nathan gets to his feet. He's alone inside the the ring. He slides to the outside and he pulls Jinx to his feet. Nathan Irish whips him into the steel steps. Nathan now dismantles the steps and he drops part of them right on Jinx's back. Alex: Nathan destroying Jinx with those steps now. Eric: And Colton Vargas has a chair! SB gets to his feet, and he's cracked in the head with the chair! He crumples to the floor. Colton pulls him up now. He lifts him up and he drives him spine-first into the cage. On the other side Colton pulls Jinx to his feet. DDT onto the steps! Nathan now rolls Jinx into the ring. He goes for the cover: 1.... 2..... Eric: JINX KICKS OUT! Alex: I cannot believe it! On the outside Colton pulls SB up. He attempts to smash SB's head into the cage, but SB blocks it. He now drives Colton into the cage face-first. And again. And again. And again. Colton collapses to the floor. SB grabs the steel chair. He drives it into Colton's chest as he lays on the floor. Inside the ring Nathan pulls Jinx up. Alex: LAST LAUGH!!! Eric: WHAT!? Alex: I don't think he got all of it, but he hit the Last Laugh in desperation. Both men down inside the ring now! On the outside SB reaches under the ring and he pulls out a table. The crowd explodes. He sets the table up at ringside. He now returns to Colton. He pulls him up. Colton drives his shoulder into SB's midsection. Colton grabs SB now. SB hits him with a forearm to the face. Colton is staggered. SB drives his shoulder into Colton's chest, sending him crashing into the cage. SB with a steel chair now. He cracks Colton in the head with it! Eric: I think that busted Colton open! SB pulls Colton over towards the table now. He throws him on top of it. SB now climbs onto the table as well. He pulls Colton up. Alex: What's SBK going to do here? Eric: I'm not sure, but I'm sure he's thinking of something painful! Suddenly Jinx leaps over the ropes with a suicide dive! That sends SBK, Colton and SB all crashing through the table at once! Alex: MY GOD!!!!! Eric: Where did Jinx come from!? Alex: He just leaped over the ropes and took everyone with him through the table! The crowd is on their feet as the carnage at ringside isn't moving. Inside the ring, Nathan is on his feet. Alex: Nathan Lancaster is the only man standing now. Nathanreaches down into the pile of bodies and he pulls out Jinx. He now drags Jinx into the ring. Nathan goes for a cover: 1... 2.... Alex: JINX kicks out! Nathan pulls Jinx up now. Jinx hits him with a low blow! Nathan falls down to the mat. He rolls out of the ring to safety. Jinx is on his feet now. He enters the ring holding a steel chair. Jinx turns to face him. Colton throws the chair. Jinx catches it. Colton steps forward now and he hits the chair with a superkick! The chair crashes into Jinx's skull! He falls to the mat. Colton goes for a cover now: 1.... 2..... 3!!! Melissa Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, Jinx has been eliminated! Alex: And then there were three! SBK is up now. He slides into the ring and stands face-to-face with Colton. Vargas swings a punch. SB blocks it and returns with a punch of his own. Colton is staggered. SB hits him with another right hand. Colton takes a step backward. A third right hand sends Colton into the corner. Alex: Nathan has been in this match the longest out of these three. Eric: But they've all taken their share of punishment! SB grabs Colton and he Irish whips him across the ring. Colton hits the opposing turnbuckle hard. On the outside the ring, Nathan has found a ladder! He slides the ladder into the ring. Alex: What is the ladder for? Eric: Climbing? Alex: I know that! I meant in the context of this match. Eric: Oh. I don't know. Climbing? Alex: Thanks. You're very helpful. Nathan enters the ring now. SB runs across the ring and he hits Colton with a clothesline in the corner. Nathan has the ladder now. As SB turns around, Nathan drops him with the ladder! Colton steps out of the corner and he meets the same fate! Alex: Nathan just taking his opponent's down with that ladder! Nathan now leans the ladder against the corner. He pulls SB up and he Irish whips him into the ladder. He grabs Colton and he does the same! Both competitors fall to the mat and the ladder falls on top of them! Nathan now grabs the ladder, lifts it up, and he slams it down onto both men! Eirc: SBK and Colton both crushed under that ladder! Nathan now kicks the ladder off of his opponents. He now pulls SB to his feet. Nathan sets him up, and drives him down with a DDT. SB's head hits the ladder with a thud. Alex: My God! Eric: A cover! 1..... 2..... KICKOUT! Eric: HOW!? Nathan gets to his feet now. As he does, Colton leaps up and he clotheslines him down to the mat! Colton pulls Nathan up now. He sets him up, and drops him down to the mat with a cradle piledriver. He goes for a cover now: 1... 2... Kickout! As Colton stands up, SB hits him in the back with a forearm. Colton turns around and SBK drops him with a clothesline. Colton now pulls SB up. SB grabs him suddenly and hits him with a chinbreaker. Styles gets to his feet now. SB approaches him and Colotn sends him down to the mat with a missile dropkick. Colton now climbs to the top ropes! Alex: FROG SPLASH!!! Eric: NOBODY HOME! Colton crashes into the mat! Nathan rolls him up! 1.... 2.... 3!!!! Alex: HE GOT HIM! Melissa Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, Colton Vargas has been eliminated. Eric: We're down to two! Alex: Johnny Styles and Nathan Lancaster with the 96 Revolution Championship on the line! Nathan gets to his feet. As he does SB throws the ladder at him, knocking him down to the mat! SB now pulls Nathan up. He throws him through the ropes to the outside. Nathan crashes into the steel cage. SB now sets up the ladder in the ring! Alex: What the hell is SBK doing!? SBK now climbs up to the top of the ladder! Nathan is still down on the outside of the ring! Eric: This is very uncharacteristic for SBK, but the title is on the line so I guess he's going to pull out all the stops! SBK leaps off of the ladder with an elbow drop! Nathan rolls under the ring! SB hits the floor with a thud. The crowd explodes!!! Alex: Oh my God. SBK going for a flying elbow drop from the top of the ladder and hitting nothing but the floor! Eric: We thought he would do anything possible to win this match, but I didn't think he'd go that far! Nathan now rolls out from under the ring. He's holding a shovel and a steel chair in his hands! Alex: Nathan's got weaponry! Nathan tosses the weapons into the ring. He now reaches down and pulls up the lifeless SBK. He rolls him into the ring and he follows. Nathan with a cover now: 1..... 2..... Alex: OH MY GOD! JOHNNY STYLES KICKED OUT! Nathan now pulls SB to his feet. He sets him up for a suplex. SB blocks it. Nathan tries again. Again SB blocks it. Alex: How is SBK still fighting here? Eric: It must be pure adrenaline. SBK now with a suplex of his own! Nathan shifts his weight and he drops down behind SB! Nathan now grabs SB around the waist! He attempts a German suplex, but SB blocks it! SB breaks free, spins behind Nathan, and attempts a German suplex of his own! Nathan blocks that one and he again reverses positions with SB! Nathan now lifts SB up for a German suplex! SB twists in mid-air and he lands on his feet behind Nathan! Nathan quickly spins around! SB comes at him with a spinning wheel kick! Nathan ducks it! Nathan now leaps at SB with a diving clothesline! SB catches Nathan as he leaps! He now drives Nathan down to the mat with a modified brainbuster! Alex: What an exchange there! Eric: And SB came out on top! Slowly SBK starts to pulls himself up, using the ropes. SB now pulls Nathan up now and he backs him into the corner. SB drives his forearm into SB's face! He now repeatedly knees Nathan in the chest, following up with an uppercut as Nathan was doubled over! Nathan slumps down in the turnbuckle after the blows. SB sets Nathan up on the top rope and calls for the superplex. Nathan just shoved SB off of the ropes and down to the mat! SB hits the mat, but stays on his feet.. Nathan now goes on the offensive, scoring with a double axe handle from the second rope, connecting right to SB's forehead. SB falls to the mat. Nathan drops an elbow for good measure. Nathan now picks up the steel chair and he sets it up in the center of the ring. He pulls SB up now and he sets him up for a suplex. Eric: Nathan is going to suplex SBK right on top of that chair! SBK blocks the move and he counters it with a suplex of his own! Nathan hits the mat with a thud! SBK now grabs the shovel. He waits for Nathan to stand up. When he does, SBK swings for his head!
