Carmen Dumas jumped up from the couch and ran into the kitchen. She grabbed an oven mitt and opened the stove. She pulled out a tray over very very black muffins. One was still on fire. She sighed and tossed the tray onto the oven. She took the over mitt off and through it beside the tray.

“Hey babe, what‘s the matter?” Cody Carson asked, leaning in the door way with his whole left arm in a sling and his ribs taped heavily. Twenty stitches marked his face along with two in his lip.

Carmen jumped and spun to meet him “What are you doing out of bed mister?”

He smiled as she put his hands on her hips and started to tap her foot. “I came down to get a drink. I‘m not crippled you know.”

Carmen glared at him as he walked over to the fridge and grabbed a beer out. He popped the top off and downed half the bottle. He looked at her and smiled, walked over and hugged her the best he could. “Don‘t worry. I‘ll be fine babe, just a couple of scratches and bruises.”

“And brakes.” Carmen added as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. “A dislocated shoulder and two busted ribs isn‘t good Cody.”

“Its was a Pay per view babe, I knew I was going to get hurt.” Cody kissed her again, a long passionate kiss. “I‘m fine.” he said when they parted. “Look, It doesn‘t even hurt to move anymore.” Cody moved his shoulder around. He slid it out of the sling and straightened his arms to the side. Slowly he rotated his arms and shoulder. His face had a smile on it but Carmen could see the pain in his eyes.

“Stop.” She said, as she place a hand on his cheek. “Don‘t hurt yourself for my sake.”

“It doesn‘t hurt.” Cody said in a shaky voice. Carmen wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him. “I‘m telling you it doesn‘t hurt.” Cody said as he constantly struggled to keep the pain out of his voice.

Cody chugged the rest of his beer and Carmen let him go. “Go to bed, or go sit down or something. I‘ll bring you breakfast.”

“No you won‘t.” Cody said with a smile. “You can try but if your muffins look that black…” He smiled again and kissed her. “I don‘t want anything to eat anyway babe, well not anything that I can have here.”

She smiled at the comment “And what would that be?”

Cody raised his eyebrows a couple of times with a stupid little grin of his face. Carmen shook her head and Cody walked into the living room. Seth Thomas sat on the couch with a beer in his hand and a smile on his face. He was in a pair of faded blue jeans and no shirt. His back is scratched, almost bleeding, his faces had nail indents and his chest is very scratched as well.

“Shit,” Cody exclaimed “Nat really came at you hard eh?”

“What do you mean?” Seth asked a little puzzled.

“Dude…” he pointed with his good hand to Seth’s chest and face. “Duh?”

“Oh, these…” Seth paused “Well, Jalie likes to…”

Cody held up his hand “Stop right there, I don‘t want to know about you and Jalie and…” Cody gets a cold chill and Seth only smiles.

“So, how’s the ribs?”

“Sore.” Cody answered as he forced himself onto the couch.

“Yeah?” Seth asked as he looked at Cody “Shit man, I was almost tempted to come down and bail your ass out.”

“Then I would have kicked your ass.” Cody said with a serious look.

“Whoa man, I didn’t did I? No. I know you can fight your own battles Cody. Hell, back in EWO I would watch you in the ring and try to put it together if you where actually talented or just fucking crazy.” The two laughed. “Like that barbwire hell in a cell match with Jarvis.”

“Fuck that was an amazing match man.” Cody said remembering in encounter. “I still got the tape of that match.”

“Maybe we could sit down and watch that bad boy sometime eh? Only for the fun of watching you fly off a barb wire hell in a cell and almost break your neck.” Seth asked. “Hell, I still got our match from RWA. When you speared my ass off the cell and I landed that DDT.”

“Yeah The one that cracked my skull.” Cody rubbed the top of his head. “ So where’s Jalie?” Cody asked desperately trying to change the subject.

“I‘m letting her sleep in.” Seth said as a smile creased. “Hard night.”

Cody got another cold chill and shook his head. “Well, seeing as Carmen isn’t the best damn cook in the world, I was planning on goin out for breakfast.” Cody looked at Seth. “You two want to come?”

“Nah, you two go.” Seth replied as he looked at Carson.

“Damn it.” Cody said with a angry look on his face. “I was going to make you buy.”

“I know.” Seth replied looking back at the TV. “That’s that reason I said no.”

“Bastard.” Cody replied as he got off the couch. He walked back into the kitchen, Carmen was looking out the window at the sky that was slowly getting grey. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, with much pain to himself. “Lets go out for breakfast.” Cody suggested.

“Thought you weren‘t hungry?” Carmen shot back at him.

“One, I want out of this house. Two I‘m not really sure what I want.” he whispered into her ear.

“Fine, but I‘m driving.” Carmen said as she grabbed the keys out of his pocket. “Go get a shirt on.” Carmen started away then stopped “Need my help?”

Cody scoffed “No.” She smiled and ran out to the door, put on her pink and black running shoes and went out to start the truck. Cody walked up the stairs and toward his and Carmen’s bedroom. He walked in and sat down on the bed. He grabbed a shirt from the dresser and apparently forgot about his shoulder. He lifted his arms and screamed in pain and stupidity. He fell back on the bed with his shirt half on, his eyes tightly shut and sweat appearing on his face. He breathed out and sat up with a growl. He slipped the shirt down the rest of the way and looked at the door. Jalie Thomas stood there with a half smile on her face.

“Only a half smile?” Cody questioned. “I thought you loved to see me in pain.”

“Only when I‘m inflicting it.” Jalie replied as she walked in and sat beside he soon to be brother-in-law. “Look dude, I know you think I‘m a cold harted bitch… and for good reason, I am. But I really think that you should get that shoulder checked.”

“I did.” Cody mumbled.

“If your going to say something open your mouth.” Jalie replied looking at him.

“I said I did.” Cody repeated. “I‘m fine. It just hurts a little.”

Jalie grabbed Cody’s goatee and pulled him to look her in the eye. “Your fine are you? First time I have ever seen you with tears in your eyes kid.”

Cody jerked away and stoked his goatee. “I‘m fine I said.” Cody stood up as Jalie smirked and stood up behind him. “I got to go, Carmen’s waiting.”

Cody walked out of the room breathing hard and in pain. He walked down the stairs as Jalie walked to the stairs and shook her head at Seth Thomas standing at the bottom of them. “What?” Seth asked.

“Ha, he‘s as stubborn as you.” She said with a smile as he walked up. “But he will get hurt. Bad, and I don‘t want my sister going through that.”

“I‘ll Talk to him if you want.”

“He‘s not our damn responsibility.”

Seth smiled and shook his head.

“What?” Jalie questioned.

“You‘re starting to like him, to care for him like a brother hun.” Seth said.

“I am not.” Jalie said defensively, then crossed her arms. Seth walked up the rest of the stairs and wrapped his arms around her. He took the final step and lifted her off the ground. She squirmed and he carried her into their bedroom and booted the door shut as then fell onto the bed.

Cody Carson looked at Carmen and smiled. The inside of his truck was grey and the seats an off blue. Linkin Park was playing on the radio and Carmen was bobbing her head to it.

“So, where are we going?” Cody asked with a smile.

“I was thinking about dairy queen.” Carmen replied, not loosening her death grip in the steering wheel.

“Ice Cream… In the morning?” Cody asked.

“Yeah, its almost noon babe.” Carmen replied.

“You want me to drive babe?” Cody asked.

“No. I‘m fine.” Carmen said, her knuckles whiter then her shirt.

Cody rolled his eyes “Okay.” He said with a sigh. He looked out the window and shook his head. Suddenly Carmen slams on the breaks and almost puts Cody through the window, only his seatbelt held him back. “WHAT!!!!” Cody yelled. With out a word Carmen unbuckled her seatbelt and jumped out of the car. A crack of thunder is heard then a flash of lightning. Cody unbuckled himself and jumped out to see what Carmen was doing. “Babe,” Cody yelled to her “What is it.” Carmen was down in the ditch and Cody walked up to the edge. In the ditch lay a mother dog, dead. Its skull crushed from being hit by a car. Cody looked away at the sight of four dead puppies. Carmen was on her knees with a puppy in her hand. Cody walked down steep hill the best he could as rain suddenly started to pour down. He grabbed Carmen and she glared at him. “Babe, there’s nothing we can do. They are dead.” A whimper and a yelp for help is heard from under the mother dog. Cody lifted her up and one little puppy lay there. His was dying. You could see his bones and his yelp was very weak. Cody scooped him up much to Carmen’s liking and he bounded un the hill as rain pelted him now. Carmen was right behind him. She jumped into the passenger side and Cody handed her the puppy trying desperately not to hurt it or himself. “Hold on.” He said both to Carmen and the puppy. Cody punched the gas and the tires squealed, fish -tailed then finally caught and they where off.

Myth

1: A traditional, typically ancient story dealing with supernatural beings, ancestors, or heroes that serves as a fundamental type in the worldview of a people, as by explaining aspects of the natural world or delineating the psychology, customs, or ideals of society.

2: A fiction or half-truth, especially one that forms part of an ideology. A fictitious story, person, or thing: “German artillery superiority on the Western Front was a myth”

Fable, Fairy tale, Fiction, illusion, legend, lie, all words for Myth. All but one describe you. Your no fucking legend, no one is until they die. Stu Hart, Owen Hart, Hawk and every other died superstar are legends. You, your nothing. You’re a spoiled little bitch that thinks the world of himself.

Go ahead you little shit. Say 'You're good. I'm better.' Go ahead. Not like I haven't heard that before. Funny thing is, whenever someone says that to me... I shut their mouths pretty quickly after dominating them in our upcoming match. Is that what lies in your future, Josh?

Of course it is.

Nobody cares about you. Nobody cares about the people you have beaten. Nobody cares about your friend or your entire fucking family. It's like you push record on the camera to sit there and bore us. NOBODY GIVES A SHIT!

You...

Are...

BORING.

Just shut the fuck up and smile widely. A silent Josh Stevens appeals far more than one that whines about shit. Thinks he special because he has done it before. You claim that you have done this before, beaten two veterans in a handicap match right? Fuck off tough guy, I won the RWA Tag team titles on my own, You're nothing. You're the shit the comes out my ass. That gets flushed.

You think your special, above the rest. I can see it in you, hear it in you. You get this and it inflates your ego. The fact is, your not the god you think you are. Hell, your pretty ordinary. But because of some victories in the past and have very little talent, you think your an immortal or something. You've got a big mouth, fucking bigger than any of the muscles you got and that is why people remember you. Personally I've only truly heard you once, and I'm already annoyed at the sound of your voice. You a fucking goof that will be put in his place.

You're in the big leagues.

I see that you bitched about Riggs doing what I did. Go ahead, bitch away. Does it affect me any? No. You ARE lucky and I will destroy you. People shouldn't bother to watch. They really shouldn't. It's already obvious as to who will come out victorious. But do you know why the people watch? They just can't get enough of me. I ooze sexuality and the people love that. They really do.

The only thing you ooze is cum in you pants. But the only thing that will ooze out of you Sunday is blood.

But I mean really what the hell are you? A fucking clown collage retard. You make me sick, you are nothing to me. All you are is a sack of shit, that will finally be sent to the dump when I beat the living fuck out of you.

Maybe you should just you should just stick to something that you’re good at, blowing up betty and blowing you load on her face. The next time you think about talking shit about me, don’t, it will only get you in more shit then you already are in.
