The Legacy...

“You ok Ken?” The cameras open up with Cody Carson sitting handcuff next to kenny who was all bandage up and also in handcuff. The room they where was filled with cops and Cody shifted uncomfortably. Cody Carson didn’t like cops much, having assaulted a few in his youth, cops didn’t like him much either. Then again it comes with the territory of being an asshole tough guy.

“I‘ll be fine.” Kenny moaned with a slight grin he added “ Takes more then a roid freak junky to kill Kenny Pikes.”

“Yeah.” Cody sighed and leaned back in his chair. “It‘s been a long time since I was in a scrap like that. Normally my fighting is in the ring but I can hold my own out of it too.”

“Point proven.” Kenny laughed. Cody also managed a smile and even a laugh thinking about the night they had had. Kenny getting knocked out and Cody starting a brawl. It’s been about twenty four hours and if the cops wanted to be assholes they could hold them for another twenty four without reason. Cody hoped his past history with the Vancouver Police department didn’t come back to bite him in he ass.

“Cody F‘n“ Carson.” came a call from a a doorway off to the right. Cody turned his head and sighed as constable Brad Jenkins stood with his arms crossed. He was a bigger man, white but with muscle on him. Most of the cops didn’t look a thing like him and since he retired from the Canadian armed forces he had been Cody’s best friend and worst enemy for some time. He took two strides over to Cody and Kenny shook his head. “I thought you grew up.”

“And I thought you would be fat and ugly like the rest of this things you call cops.” Cody replied with a smirk. Constable Jenkins just smiled and nodded.

“Come into my office, both of you.” Cody stood up and started after him. Kenny however stood up and fell right back down having all the blood rushing to his head wasn’t that good. However when he fell back down it was into a bikers lap. The man looked shocked and kenny looked scared shitless.

“Sorry sir.” Kenny said with a quiver in his voice. The biker merely smirked and shifted kenny off of him and down to the floor. Kenny then rolled to his knees and using the chair got up. Not his first time in handcuffs. He managed to stagger toward the door just as Jenkins slammed it shut on his head. Kenny staggers back into an intern with coffee sending the scolding hot liquid flying all over a couple of cops who start to scream. One grasped at his face and he staggered into a another cop who falls over his desk sending his computer and coffee flying. The coffee hit the main power bar, and shorts it out making all the computers and lights flicker and go out. The generator kicks on and Kenny is laying on the floor as Cody and Jenkins come out.

“What the hell did you do?” Carson and Jenkins asked at the same time.

Kenny looked up sympathetically. “Sorry.”

Cody looked at Jenkins and merely shrugged. “Opps.” Cody helped his friend up and the two walked into Jenkins office before anything else could be said. The office was as cody had remembered his certificates on the wall, and his army medals hung on the left beside a picture of him with his army buddies. To the right there was a Vancouver Canuck Jersey with the Name Bure and the number 10 on it. Cody sighed and sat down in the chair across from jenkins as Kenny decided standing would be better. Jenkins moved around the desk taking both of their handcuf off before sitting down. Cody rubbed his wrists to get blood flow back to his hands and started to speak. “So whats the damage the BJ.”

Jenkins picked up the file and made a humming should as the thought about it. He dropped the folder and leaned back in his chair. “well, eyewitness‘s say that Jake Tremble started the fight with both of you. First with Kenny then with you. Then after he assaulted Kenny you went out after him and the two f you fought. Then you assaulted on of his friends causing the brawl to ensue. ”

“That’s pretty much what happened.” Cody replied nodding his head.

“So,” Jenkins said as he leaned forward in his chair. “Why did you deck his buddy?”

“His buddy stepped up to me, and got cracked. If he wouldn‘t have stepped up he wouldn‘t have gotten knocked out.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“That’s not how the people say it.”

“Oh?”

“Yeah, they saw t was you getting revenge on one of his buddies as he did on you‘re. You know eye for an eye, sucker punch for a sucker punch. Remember Cody?”

Cody sighed and leaned back. He had used that very line the last time he was in this chair. A sucker punch for a sucker punch. A man has suckered Cody at the bar and ran, Cody however found him in the local wal-mart the next day and out of no where blind sided the guy. When Jenkins had brought him in he said a sucker punch for a sucker punch. Cody looked up a Jenkins and turned his gaze to stone. “You know me better then that. If I would have suckered the kid, you would be cleaning him off the pavement with a hose.”

“There is nothing I can do for you if he wants to press charges Cody. I have three witnesses saying you sucker punched the kid.”

“Let him press charges then.”

“He hasn‘t said he wants to yet but he still has time to.”

“What about the sucker on Kenny eh?” Cody was starting to get angry that the system was fucking him again. “My buddy is standing out side with a girl and gets knocked the fuck out for no fucking reason other then the fact that he was a crush on someone. What kinda bull shit is that?” Cody hasn’t realised that he was yelling till now. Jenkins could only smile and shake his head.

“Now will you sit down and shut u for a minute. I think this kid is waiting for Kenny to press charges on Jake. I he doesn‘t then maybe this kid won‘t hit you with charges. If the kid decided to charge you Kenny charges Jake. All is fair in love and war right?”

“Fine.” Cody replied as he got up. “Can we go now?”

Jenkins stood up and smiled. He extended his hand and Cody took it. “For the recorded Cody, I have never fucked you around nor will I ever. Everything you hear from me will be the truth.”

“Good to know I got a friend on the inside.” Cody replied with a smile. His angrier was easing away knowing that something od might come of the attack. His gut twisted at the fact that he might get an assault charge again, but what the hell he needed to do what he needed to do. Kenny shook Jenkins hand and turned to walk out. Cody opened the door and Kenny stepped out.

“Cody, off the record, they both look a lot worse then your friend.” Cody smirked and walked out as the cameras cut to black.

Match Talk I

First things first. There is a little fucking pest in the locker room as of late that seems to be attempting to call me out by beating up amatuers and giving the camera dirty looks and trying to make himself look tough. Really the only thing he is showing me is that he is that desperate to prove himself he is willing to go to the lowest length possible to get noticed.

For those of you who don’t know who I am talking about, consider yourself lucky you haven’t had to listen to his mindless babbling about being a dangerous man. So dangerous that he attacks two rookies and a commentator . UHHHH I’m so scared of you now. Your nothing but a cum stain on the tighty whites of the industry. Just so we are all clear on who this piece of shit is, its Swifty McDouchebag. As for your challenge asshole, though I would love to be the first person to lay an ass kicking on you, your not even worth my time and your not even in my league so why would I stoop so low as to fight you.

Fighting him would be like Philly Trading Donavon Mcnabb. Its just doesn’t make sense. So before I verbally bitch slap you anymore, you find some more rookies to abuse and step off.

Now down to business.

It has come to my attention that the Rainbow warrior is still yet to make an appearance. Sorry if I scared you man, but facts are facts and you just don’t measure up. Really though all you should have to do is make an appearance. Cause really if you don’t even show up then that just proves the fact that the only color in your rainbow is yellow. Give it a shot at shutting me up if you dare but in short its not going to work. You know that, I know that, the fans know that, your dead sister in-laws cousin twice removed knows it, everyone know it. But not trying means that you yourself believe it.

I have already beaten you in this fight because I have you second guessing your skills which in turn makes you second guess everything your going to say or do. Will this kick work, what if I miss, am I just seconds away from getting put in a submission and tapping out? Everything you are thinking is normal for a rookie. I however have been doing this for a long time and I know what to expect. Maybe not from you but I don’t need to expect anything from you. Your just like everyone else, simple and easy to pick part piece by piece. Like a castle barley standing with one support holding it. You have one thing holding you together in is match giving you that shred of hope and I have just broken it.

Your confidence in yourself was the only thing you had in this match and look at you now, hiding under you bed biting a pillow afraid to speak up for something you know in your heart is a worthless cause. This is where boys become men, when they know something is unreachable yet they still try. You however are not even trying my friend and simply put, you are less of a man then I have ever seen.

Rainbow warrior my ass.

This guy is so scared of me right now, he wouldn’t be able to fight his way out of a wet paper bag and this is my first opponent. Really?

I still think it would have been fun for the Universal champion and I to go toe to toe. Title on the line or not, I really just want to show that prick up. I guess this is where I have to start though by mutilating a wanna-be care bear, Good god.

Mercer you make me sick to my stomach thinking about how much of a worthless piece of shit you are. Swifty Mcvay Doesn’t even have a match against me and he has talked more shit then you for fuck sakes. You call yourself a wrestle, get bent.

Doz/.

The cameras reopen up to Cody Carson sitting on a dock near the edge of the pacific ocean. He has his feet hanging over the edge dangling in the water, watching the many boats out on the water and a skier. He smiles to himself remembering the good times he had had here as a kid, all the fun. “Just as pretty as it always was eh?” Came a voice behind him. The sound made Cody jump at first then he turned and smiled seeing Carmen standing there with his daughter on her arm.

“Hey babe.”

Carmen set all down and smiled at her. “You go play ok?” Ally nodded and ran off to play in the sand. Carmen looking beautiful in daisy dukes and a white tank top moved behind her husband and sat down, wraping her legs around him and kissing his naked shoulder. “So I heard you and Kenny had a good day at the cop shop.”

“Please. It was anything but good.”

“Well your not getting charges as far as we know.”

“I guess, I just don’t know why I hit the kid. From where I was standing it looked like he was gonna drill me in the face.”

“When you hit him it looked completely out of the blue. I thought you where just angry at the situation and wanted to hurt everyone of that guys friends.”

Cody sighed and hung his head. “Maybe I did.”

“Why?”

“I don’t know.” Cody replied shaking his head.

“Well if it helps, the media is, for once, helping with this. That Jake guy was pretty well known as a trouble maker.”

“That’s good.” Cody replied and Carmen suddenly went silent. The look on her face told everyone that something else was going on but cody hadn’t looked at her yet. Then again being married for so long he had learned to tell when something was amiss without looking at her at all. “What‘s wrong?”

“Nothin.” She replied in a soft tone. Meaning ultimately something was wrong. Cody turned into her and looked into her eyes.

“No, really what’s up?”

“I got good… well great news.”

“Then why do you look so…” Cody trailed off as he stared at Carmen. “Are you pregnant again?”

“No. If it was that I would be thrilled.”

“Me too. So what is it?”

“I got a job offer.”

“That’s great.”

Carmen looked at him and the pain in her eyes told him something else was wrong. “It‘s with Americas next top model. Tyra Banks seen my amateur stuff and the line with Seduction perfumes before I was pregnant and wants me to come and model.”

“So go do it.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, your letting me follow my dream. Who am I to stop you with yours?” With that Carmen grabbed him and planted a kiss on him. Cody knew that he would have to watch his daughter alone for really the first time since she was born, and that thought didn’t sit well with him. The last time he had seth and jalie, now he was the only one for her. This should be an interesting few months. The cameras fade out.

Match Talk II

Pride.

Such a simple little word that makes people think the thinkable, beat the unbeatable, and break the unbreakable. Pride in its own right is power, yet with every power comes a weakness. With some people, pride brings self doubt. Others its blind rage that gets them killed. Then there are some that just get so damn over confident that they think you have no worries and boom they lose it all too.

Pride is a strange little thing, and everyone should have some. If you have no pride then you have no use in living. Even you think you’re the most unselfish person in the world, you pride yourself on that. There is no getting around it, and humans are the only ones that have it, so I say embrace it.

Why sit back and let it go to waist when you know damn well that you hold pure power in one hand? Some people are afraid t use it, others don’t know how. The simple fact of the matter is people don’t know shit about it and so they forget about it. Look at my opponent this week. He should be priding himself on the fact that he is goin to get the ass kicking of a lifetime. Be proud of it, your getting a much needed learning experience. Don’t just lay down and take a beating, stand up and fight you coward. Every man has the chance to be a knight, its up to you to pick up that sword.

We all know your going to lose, but lose with honour at least.

You know what fuck it. I have tried time and time again to lift the spirit of my opponent but enough is enough. If he’s gonna refuse to fight back then by all means I’m gonna give him the beating he deserves. Hopeless and useless case. He has beaten himself into submission before I even touched him.

Mercer, I’m gonna make you hurt you petal dancing fairy. You disgrace the AWA with your presence, your nothing but a joke. A mockery of a real wrestler and I hate it when people think they can mock us. I have bleed and sweat in the squared circle more then you even will and yet you sit there and keep quiet hoping the storm will pass you by.

Sorry sunshine, after I’m done with you there will be no rainbow after the storm, just blood.

You think you know me?

Well this Monday you’ll see

Why they call me,

The legacy…
