Status: That is all this world is about. If you don’t have a god status, you’re nothing. If you do have a good status, then everyone wants a piece of you. This is the word that we live in, work our hands to the bone in and this is what we get for it. Status among men is a prized thing. Everyone wants to be someone, but no body wants to lose their status. This is the battle we wage. This is why war happens and this is why we fight. We, as humans, need to know that we are better then something or someone. It’s sick really, but it is reality. So the battle will continue until the end of time. No one can stop it, even if we tried.

Home.of.Cody.Carson{Yucca Valley}

The house in Yucca Valley seemed empty in a way. The walls and place where the way they had left it. The gouge on the wall where they brought the oversized couch in was still visible. The whiteness of the place still glowed from when Jalie and Seth had help them paint it. Carmen had taken Alexandria to the mall with her and left Cody here alone. The loneliness he suddenly felt was unreal. Normally when Carmen would go to the mall he would do over and chill with Seth and Jalie. He hated being alone. Yet now he felt like hipicrit. Hadn’t he bashed Nathan Gust for needing people? Now all he really wanted was to see them again. How he longed to see his brother-in-law and sister-in-law again. Yeah the bashed him a lot for being stupid but that’s what he loved. He missed having them around. He trusted them with his life and knew they could do the same. For the first time in a lone time he felt alone. He slowly walked through the house and into the living room. He plopped down onto the couch and stared at the TV that was turned off. His mind was wondering. Are they ok? When will they be back? Did they leave because of us? Why? Why? WHY!? His mind screamed at him and he shook his head trying to force the thoughts out. He quickly grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. He flipped though the channels and finally came to stop on sports center. They where talking about Barry Bonds and the home run record. He sighed and turned the TV off. He walked to the front door, slid on his skate shoes and opened the door. The outside was nothing like Vancouver, no mountains, no nothing just houses. He walked out and sat on the front porch. Before he could even grab a beer out of his restocked mini fridge he was knocked off his chair an down to the ground hard. His ribs jabbed him and almost took his wind. His stitches had luckily been missed and from what he could tell he was hit with a brick. He pushed himself to his feet and shook his head. This young man, about thirteen stood wide eyed at the bottom of his stairs. Cody looked around and found what had drilled him in the side of the head. He reached down and picked up an NFL Nike football. He looked down at the kid and tossed it to him. “Dude, you okay?”

“I‘m fine.” Cody replied reassuring the kid that he was ok. “Who tossed that shit?”

“I did.” A bigger man said as he crossed the yard. He was little taller that Cody and had a little more muscle on his bones. He was in a white T-Shirt and a pair of gray track pants. “I‘m Nathan.” The gentlemen said extending his hand to Cody.

“Cody Carson.” Cody replied extending his hand.

“Are you really?” The man said with a smirk.

“Yeah I am.” Cody said, wondering why the man had questioned him.

“I thought you ran out like the other two.” Nathan replied. “You haven‘t been around here lately have you?”

“Nope.” Cody replied. “Just came back.”

“So, does the company pay you to wear those stitches?” Nathan asked feeling more comfortable.

“No, they are real?” Cody reassured him.

“Right.” Nathan said with a smile. “Well you and your woman can come over to our house tomorrow night for dinner we are having a barbecue. ” Nathan said.

“Who said we wanted too?” Cody replied, anger slowly creeping up on him.

“Well if you would like too.” Nathan added in a calm voice.

“I‘ll talk to her about it.” Cody replied.

“Ah, I see. She makes the decisions.” Nathan replied. “It‘s okay. My wife knows her place.”

Cody forced himself not to hit the man. Instead he smirked. “Where‘s that in another mans bed?”

“What did you say?” Nathan said advancing a step on Cody. Cody slowly reached behind his back grabbing the handle of his hunting knife.

“You heard me.” Cody said with a smirk even wider then his face.

“You listen here you little punk. I work for a living and I have a real job. You do nothing but tricks and flips. Your should be in a circus not a ring.” Nathan growled but thought twice about taking another step.

“The funny thing is, you watch me on TV.” Cody replied. “Which means you‘re paying me to be watched. I‘m taking money out of your pocket every time you turn me on.” Cody chuckled. He leaned forward and put his face mere inches from Nathan’s. “ Now get off my property.”

Nathan’s little boy stared at Cody and Cody looked back at him. Nathan started to walk away. “You really are Cody Carson?”

Cody looked down at him. “That I am.”

“Cool, I have never met a celebrity.”

“Well, not you have.” Cody replied with a smile. Suddenly the young man was jerked away by his father. Cody could see his father yelling at him about something, probably talking to him. Boy, dinner at that house might be fun. Cody turned and walked into the house, still shaking his head.

Dos./

“Son of a bitch.” Cody yelled as a knife went flying across the room and stuck firmly in the wall. Cody stared down at his now bleeding finger and the carrots that have been ruined by his stupidity. “Cock sucking, mother fucking…”

“Put it under cold water.” Carmen yelled as she walked in the door knowing that he had cut him yet again. She dropped her bags and set her sleeping baby down on the couch. She gently kissed her forehead and walked toward the kitchen.

“Son of a…” Cody started but she pinched his ass and made him stop. “This fucking hurts.”

“Yeah, you‘re the dumb ass that cut himself for the millionth time.” Carmen said showing no sympathy to her husband.

“Millionth and one.” Cody replied sarcastically. This got him a slap on the ass. “Oh, I like it rough.”

“You dirty man.” Carmen replied looking at the stew Cody had made. She took the ladle and took a taste. She gagged a little, then when Cody turned to her she smiled. “Good stew.” She lied.

“Yeah?” He asked hopeful that she wasn’t lying. “Don’t you go adding anything then.”

“Oh, I won’t.” Carmen replied pulling out the spices and pretending to check them. Cody turned his back to get a better look at the cut on his finger and Carmen went to work, she quickly added a pinch of this and a dash of that. With a smile as he turned around she gave him a hug having a hand full of something, she dropped it in the pot and gave him a soft kiss. “Love ya.”

“Love you too” She said as she skipped off into the living room.

Cody picked up his ladle and tried his stew. He looked down at the pot shocked. “I‘m a damn good cook.” he proclaimed and strutted into the living room. “So some guy from up the street invited us to a barbecue tomorrow night. You want to go?” Cody asked leaning into the room and swinging to Carmen still holding onto the siding of the door.

“Sure.” She replied with a smile. “If you want too?”

“The guy was the jerk.” Cody replied. “But what the hell, eh?”

“Yeah I guess.” Carmen replied. “No fighting mister.”

Cody sighed. He hadn’t planned on it, but making the man look like a fucking tool in front of his friends and family would be fun. “I promise not to fight.” He replied and smiled, yes He wouldn’t fight but he would make him look like a fool. Time to start planning. Tomorrow might just be a good day.

::Match talk::

Lucretia Black v. Cody Carson
[TV championship]

Lucretia Black, you have really made a name for yourself here in the RWA, some say you’re the lady to beat and that Amy Jo Smyth might have a new replacement on the raise. Some even say that you will walk into the devils dance match and completely rule the stage. You do have talent that much is very clear. You obviously have some smarts about you to have joined forces with such worthy allies such as Shawn Walsh and Tony Barrera. Remember though, like any pet, if you bite the hand that feeds you, you might just end up on the street cold and alone. Shawn Walsh Is in the Devils Dance match with you, you is a leader of SC and he had a need for the RWA Universal title. Its more then a need, if he doesn’t have it then Shawn Walsh is nothing. He is no one anymore. He needs this for the simple reason of being Shawn Walsh. Do you really think if you win the title they will keep you. They will treat you like Evolution treated Randy Ortan. Then where will you go?

Then again, it doesn’t really matter where you go. Cause after SC has turned on you and pushed you under the water, people will forget about you and you will slowly drowned. Fame will change everyone, even myself. I have been affected by fame to the point of almost no return. Then I was shown the way back to the light. The only way to see it, its to look through your own pride and see that you can improve. You are not the best in the world. You may win the Universal title, and you may defend it for a while. Soon after, you will slowly start to get pride in your ability and that will be your down fall.

Lucretia Black, you are a worthy opponent for me, and you do deserve the TV title. Honestly, you do. Sadly though, Reloaded will be the end of your reign. Enjoy watching you in the ring and I enjoy watching you kick ass every match. This will be a test for me. If I pass it I become the TV champion if I don’t then I don’t. To me this is more then just a game. Every day I test myself and see if I can push myself further. You are the first member of SC I have had a chance to get into the ring with, and I will not let this opportunity to start the destruction of the stable pass by.

Miss Black, you know that I am no push over and you know that I do not like to lose. I destroyed the Hall of Famer Nathan Gust in a matter of seconds. I lasted the in the Tag team battle until the very end. I have been through all the shit the RWA has thrown at me and more. You on the other hand are new to the RWA. You have made a name for yourself, but people remember me. I have become the RWA. I live sleep and breath RWA. You are one of the many drifters the RWA has. You will be here for a time but you can never truly call this place home.

The RWA is my home. I can not leave for I am tied to it. It is like a disease really, a sickness that we can not leave. So many people have tried but once the RWA has set its talons into you, you can not leave, unless you are a drifter. You can leave the RWA when ever you want and never even think twice about it. You are the mist between the cracks and the shadows in the corners. People like Shawn Walsh , Myself hell even Nathan Gust Are the foundation of the RWA. We make the RWA what it is. You are just a piece of garbage that hasn’t been tossed yet.

I have nothing against you doll, nothing at all. I’m just telling you want it is. I’m telling you the truth. If you don’t believe me ask you leader. Ask Shawn Or Tony. Ask them if its true. Ask them if you are Just a Pawn compared to them, knights or rooks. Ask them if you are a meaningless piece of a game that we all play. I know that you knew this already, because you are a smart woman. Yet you continue to play the game. Either you are a fool, or you like the feeling of being worthless.

Is that it? Doesn’t feeling worthless do it for you? Doesn’t felling like a meaningless piece do it for you? I figured you had more dignity then that. I figured that you had a little respect for yourself. If you want to play in this game you have to become part of it. You don’t know what it takes to be part of it. You want to but you don’t. After you do, you wish you didn’t. Its time for the games to start. I have made the first move. Pawn to C3 so to speak, do you match my move or flip the board. The choice it up to you.

Sincerely,

Cody Carson
