Home.of.Cody.Carson

The pale gray sky only made the day worse as Cody Carson say on the back balcony of his house in Vancouver Canada. The sun had disappeared and a storm was rolling in. The clouds danced about the sky and the winds softly blew against him. The wind chime in the back of the place chimed and along singing a soft song. The trees waved back and forth in the wind and Cody Carson’s long hair blew. His eye was still swollen, but only barley, being replaced with then radiant purple and red of the busted and bruised blood vesicle. The stitches above his right eye where set and pulled, another scar to add to the pile. His ribs how ever where the only thing that hurt him right now. The metal rod left a clear and decisive bruise, and had cracked two of his ribs. He looked worse then he was however. He was in a good mood, in pain, but in a good mood. The metal screen door opened and Carmen walked out with a small bottle of salve. Cody smiled at her, but his eyes showed her that he was in a large amount of pain. "Hey sexy," he said with a smile. "You gonna doctor me up again?"

"Don't I always?" Carmen replied giving him a soft peck on the cheek. She sighed and started to apply the salve to the stitches. Cody over exaggerated the pain and Carmen just laughed as he owwwed and ahhhed. "You big baby."

"Come here." Cody said motioning with his finger. She leaned down to him and gave him a nice long kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too." she said, then looked at the ground.

"What's wrong sweets?" Cody asked as he adjusted the ice on his ribs and turned in the old rickety lawn chair.

"Nothing." she said still refusing to look at him and fiddling with a towel, seemingly off in her own little world.

"Hey," Cody said as he put his fingers under her chin and lifted her head. "What's the matter baby?"

"We can't do this Cody." She stated as he looked away from him.

"Do what?" He asked, then looked down at his ribs. "Oh, this."

"Yeah." Carmen said fighting back the tears. "We have a child now. I hate seeing you like this, beaten and broken."

"Hey, don't worry about me." HE said with a smile. "I'll be fine."

"No you won't." She said as he got to her feet and started to raise her voice. "You won't be ok, you will get hurt. We have a child to care for now. This isn't just me you're hurting."

"You don't think I know that?" Cody said pushing himself to his feet and moved to her the best he could. "I know that this is hard on you and I know it's going to be hard on Alex. But it's all I got."

"Don't wrestler, do something else." Carmen said in a calmer voice.

"I'm not good at anything else." Cody said trying to stay calm but getting angrier by the minute. "You don't understand. You are good at Modeling, writing, science, and a whole fuck load of other shit. I'm good at two things. Fighting and writing. Writing doesn't pay the fucking bills."

"Then let me work." She said staring at him with loving eyes.

"I can't." Cody said as he looked at the ground ashamed. "I can't let you work because I told you I would give you a life worth living."

"I'll model. You don't have to be this macho guy with me." Carmen shot at him. the clouds had darkened and the rain was starting to spit down upon them. Everything slowed down it seemed.

"I know I don't," Cody started.

"So let me model." Carmen said moving to him and consoling him.

"You can model," Cody said with a pause. “But I can’t stop wrestling.”

“But,” Carmen started but Cody had already started into the house. She looked at the broken and beaten up man. It wasn’t the physical injuries that she could see. No, bumps and bruise come and go. What hurt her was to see her man emotionally whipped to the bone. She sighed and then looked up. A flash of lightning and a loud boom of thunder and the rain fell.

“Carmen, ” Cody yelled out the door. “Get in here, you can’t get sick too baby.”

“Ok.” She yelled back up. As the rain fell and hit her soft tender lips, here worries where suddenly washed away. The cold mist might just save her and her family after all. As the rain fell, so did the pain of seeing Cody hurt. As the rain poured down, she felt only love.

::Match talk::

Nathan Gust vs. Cody Carson
[Street fight]

Nathan gust, you really thought hat you where doing something good last week huh? You thought that by coming up to me and rubbing it in my face that I lost my return match that it was going to make you feel better. I put you out of that match I beat you and have beat you time and time again. There is nothing you can do about it.

Nathan Gust, the boy wonder so to speak. When was the last time you won a match on live television? When was the last time you beat someone in and even and fair match. I’m not talking Shawn Walsh for the Hardcore title, I’m talking when was the last time you had and even match with someone and pinned them, one two three.

Can’t remember can you.

Now I have had allot of fan emails and mail in general asking me “Why Cody?” Some where giving me the thumbs up, others the thumbs down. So it would seem that everyone wants to know why I attacked you gusto. Everyone wants to hear my rambling about why the hell I beat you up. Now I could lie and tell everyone that it was because you touched me and I just went nuts after a loss. Then again why lie.

The reason I started the fight with Nathan was because of a simple word. A word that the RWA has seemingly lost. The word respect. Since when is the RWA all fluffy bunnies and everyone consoles everyone after the match. Since when does the hardcore hall of famer Nathan Gust come up to one Cody Carson and tell him good job.

Respect is suddenly being tosses around the RWA and its bull shit. I don’t want someone to feel sorry for me so they try to respect me. No because that is disrespect. Let me walk my own path and in doing so I shall find my own respect and my own light. Nathan Gust insulted me by talking to me after my match. Nathan Gust deserved what ever he got.

I don’t see him running up and consoling Shawn Walsh after a loss. I don’t see him running up and giving Seth Dryden a big hug. Yeah, I understand what he was trying to do, but fuck off and let me do it on my own.

Nathan this is the ending for one of us. I’m coming into this match worse for ware. Don’t even think for a second that as soon as I see you all the pain in my body is going to still be there. I’m going to show you why you don’t disrespect me. I’m next in line for the hall of fame and after I destroy you, I’m going to move on. I’m going to keep moving and haunt your dreams kid. Then After I have torn apart your very sole, you start begging me for death, I will leave you.

I will leave you a broke and battered mess. There is nothing you can do to start me Nathan, I’m coming for your sole. Then, after I have taken all I can from you, I’m going to go after what is rightfully mine. What was stolen from me when I returned to the new RWA, the shot at the Universal title.

I came here looking to end the threat of SC forever, but now I have a different plan, a new road to walk. That road will lead me to the Universal title. That road will lead me to greatness and to the hall of fame. But first on that road is a broken up loser. Be ready for pain Nathan. For that is all you will find here.
